Excactly. C4 works only on living organisms that are breathing by blowing up every living cell from inside via micro bombs. It wont work on dead things like book, stone or Sasori puppet.

100% correct what I was about to say to I love deidara he is my favorite character

I agree 100% and he cud beat white zetsu, Hidan, Kisame, Konan.
