Deidara is my favorite Naruto character! Don't you think he should have lived and Sasuke defeated him just because he is a huge part to the story but i do like where the story is and how it was made and all of it but I think Deidara was strong enough for both of them to live. No disrespect to Kishi i love how he made Naruto and every detail.(=

I like him very much too, but the fact that he's dead isn't the biggest point to be sad. More than that, it's the way he was killed, or to say it correct, that he killed himself. That was so senseless imo. There was no need to bomb himself just for that Sasuke -.-, btw it was a clear draw of them ...

Yeah he was one of those victims of the main antagonist... sasuke.

If the protagonist were to get strong, the antagonist has to get strong proportionally too. After all, naruto and sasuke are pretty much the biggest parts of the series. deidara was one of the victims... just like jiraiya and itachi.
thanks to characters like those naruto and sasuke are pretty much two of the strongest characters in the series now.

Well Deidara only can use explosives and Sasuke is able to disable them safely so the matchup was really not fair or resonable because what did deidara have to do with sasuke's plans
