Obviously Deidara has the power to defeat Zabuza with a C4, so you would think he will win, however, if Zabuza and Deidara battle by a nearby water source, Zabuza can win.

This is my scenario on how I think it'll go down: First Zabuza creates a very heavy mist and I don't think Deidara can just bomb him before he does because he has to form clay in his hands which takes time and Zabuza creates mist in a second. He even created the mist when he was 5 feet away from Kakashi in the second battle and infront of 1000's of shinobi in the war. So, obviously Deidara will fly out of the mist, which Zabuza will sense, so right about when he does which will take a couple seconds, if you look in the manga during the Seven Swordsman massacre, the mist goes very high up, giving Zabuza enough time to use Water Dragon Jutsu, a long ranged attack that can go up and knock Deidara down or atleast hit the dragon leading Deidara to jumping off, Deidara is smart, so I'm going to assume he will make a Shadow Clone to throw Zabuza off, however, Zabuza will send a Water Clone in and destroy Deidara's Shadow Clone. Since the Shadow Clone will be destroyed, the intel it gets will return back to Deidara so Deidara will know where he is then throw C1's at Zabuza destroying the Water Clone, then Zabuza will get behind Deidara, swing his sword, then kick him in the water just like he did with Kakashi even though Kakashi had a Sharingan and better taijutsu so I know Deidara won't dodge it. So when he tries to get out of the water, he can't because Zabuza embedded chakra into it just like with Kakashi, gets behind him and trappes him in a Water Prison and finishes it.
That's how I believe Zabuza will win, however, Deidara will win without a nearby water source and Deidara has the ability to kill Zabuza, but not how it'll go down with Zabuza's ambush of moves.
