i mean.... deidara has no real speed feats. Nothing is really stopping neji from blitzing deidara before he can sky camp and spam bombs on his dragon..

once his chakra is locked up he cant do anything

If not I don't think it'd be too hard to believe that they could set up traps on location prior to the fight. Neji is no shikamaru when it comes to planning ahead but he's still rather high on the intellegence scale.


All things considered, I think with the right planning the team could take this. this is considering that Dei doesn't see any of this planning coming and has no intel on these guys.
