Deidara still beats Gaara?

^ At the time, if Deidara used his C4 Dragon, Gaara would of been screwed!

Although I am curious about a rematch. Gaara is 1,000X stronger now then at the beginning of Shippuden.

Deidara with his nano bombs is a bad match up for gaara. Only way to stop him really is with lightning style like sasuke, or genjutsu like itachi.

Basically yes. Sasuke had no way to stop an explosion and so the nano bombs managed to spread. Gaara is able to stop Joki-boy from going off and contain the blast...why not do the same to Deidara?
