You don't create a villain organization and not know who its members are during the process of actually writing it.

We know at age 13, he was promoted to the rank of Anbu captain and then went on to commit the uchiha massacre.
This leave a five year gap in which he could of recruited deidara making deidara 13 at the youngest not 10.

This is nonsense! Deidara could not have been 18 at the end one part 1 when he was nineteen when he died in Part two. There is a three and half/four year gap between the end of part one and the time that Deidara died. That makes Deidara either fifteen or fifteen and a half at the end of part one. and Itachi would have been at Akatsuki for more than five years at that time, which makes the earliest age Deidara could have joined to be between 10-13.
