Gaara was at a handicap because of the fighting zone and Deidara had intel on Gaara but Gaara didn't even know the dude's name. I rewatched and re-read the anime and the manga Gaara would have won the fight if he wasn't distracted and exhausted his chakra by protecting his village but Deidara is a lethal ninja and didn't prepare enough clay for the fight and didn't use C4 during the fight but Gaara is more skilled at long ranged fighting and Deidara wouldn't have the chance to use it. So Gaaara > Deidara everyone stop thinking he won the fight. Deidara in an open area could defeat most ninjas though, just saying.

Why would you even bother to reply. I have nothing against Deidara his jitsu could have easily destroyed the entire village. Gaara took one of his arms and even Deidara said the only way he could get close enough to Gaara was to distract him with the c3 bomb on the village, so I'm deff not mad but just stating the truth.

I agree with him on the fact that gaara had to protect the everyone from the c4 bomb and if the battle had took place eles were gaara would of won p.s Deidara is not on a kages level neither is Hidan however they are strong just want to get that clear.
Deidara had 3 disadvantages....
1) Limited clay
2)Gaara's geographical location
3) Ordered to capture not kill
Gaara had 1 disadvantage
Protecting village priority...
Deidara himself said "Not killing him was harder than i thought..."
Which shows he could easily kill him....
And he can....Gaara has no counter for c4

Alright sure Deidara could have Believed he could have killed him easily but that's all it is just a thought Deidara's logic of killing someone is also bad because he thought he could kill Itachi with his C4. And what's with everyone FTG'in Deidara C4 ability ,yes it's lethal but only harmful if you breathe it in or if you're in it's range not to mention the time it takes to cast C4 that he used in the fight with sasuke Gaara would have crushed him by then who knows if he can cast a quicker smaller C4. And the Desert was an advantage but it's already been shown that he could make earth into sand. Also gaara didn't need much sand to fight he only needed the sand to protect the village.

Gaara CANNOT do those levels of jutsu elsewhere.... You fail to realize how big of an advantage gaara had... which essentially shows how big of a disadvantage deidara had

And of course Gaara has to breathe I was just pointing out a weakness in c4 but Deidara would never have enough time to cast it so you didn't even bother to argue that. Sure the desert was an advantage but personally I think he didn't use it because he had to he used it because it was there. Deidara would only have an advantage in the middle of the ocean to be honest. And if you reread the fight against he bone guy he made plenty of sand were there was none available.Earth is unlimited is it not? He could have made the same amount, besides be honest do you really think he was using the amount because he had to or because he could? He only needed enough sand to defend himself and use his ulimate defense for offensive to take out both of Deidara arms and basically win. Deidara is a good ninja but just has no defense making him rely on long range fighting but Gaara has an ultimate defense and is pretty good at long range fighting so the winner is obvious.

Ninjas being disadvantaged in fights, not having any or enough knowledge, blah blah blah...their ninjas. its kinda of the point. when is the last time you've seen a 100% fair fight in Naruto if any?
