Lmao at Deidara avoiding a wide range genjutsu. That sure worked well for Onoki lol.

Gengetsu wins.

Genjutsu constantly tricks Deidara of his whereabouts.

Gengetsu uses Joki Boi to divert Deidara away from blowing up his location on accident.

Water Bullet snipes from a blind spot.

What are you saying? Ohnoki DID take to the skies and was unaffected by the Genjutsu Deidara doesn't have to know where it is exactly when his explosives will either:

-Clear away the mist enough so he can see it
or
-Hit the clam and simply destroy it especially if he just sprays the mines across the battlefield

Lol nah. C4 nanobombs would act in a similar sense to what Gaara's sand did to uncover the clam. hundreds of thousands - millions of nano bombs hugging the clam then exploding take it out.

I mean that's even on the premise that Deidara allows Gengetsu to set up the technique, Deidara would keep that pressure up, by sending out C1, and C2 on repeat. Gengetsu is out of his league against Deidara.

Convince me other wise fam.

Zexion can you please just read the very scan you post, for context instead of just looking at pictures, coming up with random assumptions?

Deidara doesn't have to know where it is exactly when his explosives will either:

-Clear away the mist enough so he can see it
Its a wide field jutsu that outreaches anything Deidara explosion can cover and its constantly being produce. So no its not working.

or
-Hit the clam and simply destroy it especially if he just sprays the mines across the battlefield
Then you are assuming he gets lucky to so happen to put a mine under the Clam itself lol which is a far fetch argument. Yet alone me already explaining that Joki easily diverts Deidara to aim and box him in else where.

Already addressed this:

"Gengetsu uses Joki Boi to divert Deidara away from blowing up his location on accident"

Its not relevant when Joki Boi changes the location of the fight.

I mean that's even on the premise that Deidara allows Gengetsu to set up the technique, Deidara would keep that pressure up, by sending out C1, and C2 on repeat. Gengetsu is out of his league against Deidara.
Deidara isnt stopping Gengetsu set up the Clam since it, achieving C2 set is will take the same amount of time as setting up the Clam's genjutsu. And C1 can be dealt with by shooting it down with Water Guns, or Water Clones blocking and diverting the attention.

Is that an argument? :lol point stands that Ohnoki went into the air and wasn't affected by the genjutsu, and with the help of Gaara's sand could tell where the clam was.

Clearly doesn't reach the air as I just showed you or Ohnoki would have still been fooled, and no the mist can be pushed away before new mist is created allowing Deidara to see just fine not to mention his eye is also trained to see through genjutsu. Get the scan of him saying "sharingan genjutsu" doesn't matter as false images are all the same.

Then you are assuming he gets lucky to so happen to put a mine under the Clam itself lol which is a far fetch argument. Yet alone me already explaining that Joki easily diverts Deidara to aim and box him in else where.
Who said anything about under? Literally if he drops them out of the mouth slowly while gliding over the battlefield one will land on the clam and explode it, or at least reveal its location so Deidara can nuke it with the missile since he's conveniently already on the dragon here. Joki boy is useless as after falling for it once its not happening again, and Deidara has more than enough clay to finish this here. Not to mention C4 Garuda ends this as Trollkage can neither sense it nor avoid it.

Are you good? Why would Onoki need Gaara's sand if he isnt effected by the genjutsu to begin with. Why the hell would Gaara need to guide Onoki towards the Clam to begin with? , I dont know how you got to this illogical conclusion that going you remain unaffected lol.

Manga literally disagrees disputable. No the mist isnt being blown away it will only maybe vaporize the area that explodes which is irrelevant because you are still inside the genjutsu. I No no no no no Zex. I dont need a scan of Deidara countering sharingan genjutsu because the only way to counter Gengetsu genjutsu was stated in the manga already[ ][ ]. It bears no relevance counter Gengetsus

I literally just said this:

How the hell is Deidara going to know he needs to bombards everywhere when his target is diverting and forcing him to fight somewhere else?

BECAUSE MIST IS STILL MIST YOU FUCK :lol you still can't see through it regardless of if he's effected by the genjutsu, the mist shoots up and falls down because it too is effected by gravity and atmospheric pressure.

He's not inside the genjutsu if he's above and that still produced enough time for Deidara to see the area the explosion creates, those scans mean nothing he simply said destroy the clam to break the genjutsu. Deidara was unique in that he could see through Genjutsu even though even if he couldn't he still wins this match, as I said dropping the mines hits the clam anyways.

He can't see the Joki Boy either though, again there is still mist covering the ground which is exactly why he'd simply bombard the entire battlefield :lol its literally not debatable.

Someones frustrated lmao. You are still my dude tho, but I still need to educate you boy:

DB4:
Summoning a Giant Clam (literally an oriental clam), a large quantity of steam jets out covering the environment of the surrounding region to exhaustion. Water Particle membrane reflecting light, infinite mirror images are produced, enemies eyesight is fooled. It creates many mirages of the person in order to protect oneself.
What the Clam produces is steam jets not mist:

Quote from physics website:

Steam is water in a gas phase, while mist, or fog, are small droplets of water in the condensed phase, but small enough to be kept in the air by thermal Brownian motion. There is a huge difference in their properties.

steam at 1 atmospheric pressure is defined to be water at a temperature of 100 degrees celsius or more. It is an invisible gas, and contains a large latent energy which is released when the steam condenses into droplets. It is highly dangerous, since its high energy content can scald very effectively per unit mass.

Mist, on the other hand, is a harmless droplet state with only marginally more energy than bulk water. The extra energy is all due to the surface tension of the droplet formed, and is orders of magnitude smaller than the latent heat required to boil water. To make a mist or a fog, you can charge water electrically, and the electric repulsion will form droplets for you.

Humidity is water dissolved in air, and it is a different issue. Air will come to statistical equilibrium with liquid water when it has a certain water content, defined as 100% humidity. At any lower level, water will evaporate into the air, and at any higher level, water will spontaneously condense into droplets in the air.
Mist is heavier (very small) water droplets, while Steam still more closer to vapor/ invisible gas. Steam can go higher and stay further in the atmosphere then Mist/Fog can. This is why you never see the actual "mist" of Gengetsu's Clam because it isnt MIST.

Addressed he isnt escaping the wide range steam, much like Gaara, Onoki, and Muu (flying characters) couldnt do in canon to counter it. Indisputable.

For your premise to even work is admitting Deidara gets lucky with his victory. As I already addressed Gengetsu draws Deidara attention to fight in a different location away from the Clam. This is Gengetsu fighting style showed in canon and this is something we know Deidara can fall for:

What in the world you talking about? The Mizukage commands the Clam what or what not to reveal and makes as many mirages as needed. Since it can use Water Particle membrane reflecting light and block out light(which is why Gaara used the same counter to reveal the Clam the same way he did against Muu's . Mixed Mirages with Joki Boi and they easily draw Deidara's attention to fight in a different location. Then its Water Snipe gg from here

You guys have got the technical jutsu and tactics covered but also remember their personalities. Deidara is incredibly impatient and prone to headstrong decisions. I think after getting played by the genjutsu & frustratingly teased around by the Mizukage's troll tone that Deidara is likely to get atomic out of pure frustration.

Deidara kills himself / uses up his strongest attack on the wrong Mizukage. This is one fighting style Deidara hasn't got the reserves for.

Personality doesn't matter. Especially in a MU intent on killing. I auto set the mindset to out of character, because regardless debaters always seem to puppeteer how their character would do such, and such even if it goes against their personalities. Mindsets should always just be set to out of character.
