Its ok, you can be in the no contract family*Doesn't get invited to the box family*
Good good. And yeah, given the addition of chakra, while all, or mostly all have nematocysts and attack through venom, some have particularities on how or where they have nematocysts, or simply have other means of attacking, like fire blasts or whatever, but those are for specific boxes. The Box Jellyfishes are from a secret coral reef on an archipelago simply called Shotou or Archipelago.
Box jellyfish are invertebrates which belong to the class cuboza, distinguished by their cube-shaped medusae. Box jellyfish are known for the extremely potent venom produced by some species. They have several tentacles attached to their body and each tentacle has about 500,000 cnidocytes, containing nematocysts, a harpoon-shaped microscopic mechanism that injects venom into the victim.
Depending on the summons, their attack mechanisms also change?
Great!Good good. And yeah, given the addition of chakra, while all, or mostly all have nematocysts and attack through venom, some have particularities on how or where they have nematocysts, or simply have other means of attacking, like fire blasts or whatever, but those are for specific boxes.
Now, go in more depth about the venom itself.
Hemolysis is the destruction of tissues. Basically, everything in contact with the poison gets burned and dissolved, appearing as scars in the shape of what ever injected the venom. For example, in real life, you can have the marks of the multiple tentacles that touched you. Some techniques infuse venom through other means, so the scarred tissue assumes different shapes.Great!
Taking directly from your CJ thread..
Archipelago Boxes Venom: The standard venom produced by the archipelago boxes is an enhanced version of the standard Cubozoa venom. It contains a mixture of hemolytic and neuro-toxins. Upon infection, the target will feel great pain, worse than being burned, as the poison spreads. The hemolytic toxins and other disgestive enzimes will burn and melt the flesh they come in contact with producing terrible scars in their path. Some Archipelago Boxes may utilize a different variation of the venom, focusing on different venoms used by different species of the Cubozoa class, which will be fully described in the jutsu description of each summon.
Can you tell me how exactly hemolysis occur in this scenario? Does it occur only when the opponent is cut?
Sounds cool ^^Hemolysis is the destruction of tissues. Basically, everything in contact with the poison gets burned and dissolved, appearing as scars in the shape of what ever injected the venom. For example, in real life, you can have the marks of the multiple tentacles that touched you. Some techniques infuse venom through other means, so the scarred tissue assumes different shapes.
The neuro-toxin part augments the pain of the burning tissues one hundred fold, Cubozoan venom being the most painful venom, and thus, as a chakra-summon venom, is the most painful of all animal venoms in our RP, take that Snake users (according to some sources xD). If you want something more technique that even I have difficulty in understanding:
Scientific Mambo Jambo:You must be registered for see links
Myotoxin:You must be registered for see links
Basically affect the muscles, nerfing them, paralyzing them.
Hemolysin/Hemolytic:You must be registered for see links
Basically destroys blood cells, cells in general, causing anemia, deficient oxygen transportation, etc
Neurotoxin:You must be registered for see links
Basically hinders the ion communication associated with the nervous system, and causes a lot of pain.
But, in essence, the venom melts and scars on contact with the skin, produces physical and neurological pain akin to being burned times a lot, and causes localized paralysis of the muscles, which can translate in the temporary loss of function of an hand, arm, leg, lungs, heart, brain, etc, depending on where, how and how much you envenom your opponent.
The most important thing you have to be aware of, though, is that you can't produce venom yourself. Any technique that directly manipulate or create venom are techniques only usable by Boxes, not by you. I have managed to find ways around this restriction, such as mixing the venom with water and manipulate the water (with the venom), but direct manipulation requires Med-Jutsu Poison mastery. That doesn't mean your opponent can manipulate your boxes venom, though, so don't worry
Another thing very important is that Boxes are immune to venom, regardless of who summoned them, but you are not. After signing and using the contract, you acquire a certain resistance to the venom, because you adapt to it, but you aren't immune to it, so beware. Similarly, I have found ways around this restriction as well xD
Questions?
You can try, but it will most likely be declined based on being Med-Jutsu expertises. But again, no one will ban you for tryingSounds cool ^^
Was thinking if injecting yourself with these (any specific) venom might create enough antibodies to counter any type of venom? Is it even possible to create such a custom?
Bdw....I just loved your explanation. Detailed and quite easy to understand. No questions![]()
