That would only necessarily show that CTS is sharper not that it's stronger. If a 2" 1 lb. knife cuts a piece of paper but a 1' 6 lb. beam only smashes it does that mean the knife is stronger? Also FRS cut something CTS couldn't, the tree so....
It doesn't matter witch jutsu sasuke has in his arsenal at the end of the day he will still use the chidori because it realy is his strongest piercing attack, all others of his attacks failed.

And instead of going agains't the raikage with his chidori spear he decides to risk getting closer to the raikage and uses chidori. (that actually caused a certain a mount of damage).

So instead of sasuke using chidori spear and avoid getting close of the raikage he actually uses chidori?
The answer is obviously because the chidori is his strongest cutting attack.

I don't take L's sorry, you may be used to it but I can't touch the stuff homie..:Sparks:

I feel that rasenshuriken has cutting power just as good as chidori spear...it sliced pain's human path completely in half

So chidori is a cutting attack now? :lol

Comparing Human path to a person who has the body of the sage is a grave mistake tho.

RasenShuriken > Chidori ~ Rasengan > Chidori Eisou

The only reason why Chidori Eisou bisected Madara was because it was more concentrated in comparison to FRS where Naruto deliberately dispersed its energy throughout a large area because it was tailored for blazing through something as massive as the Shinju.

FRS in general would be stronger given that Naruto can produce a significantly more concentrated attack with it.

There's literally no difference in potency compared to Chidori and the Chidori Spear. Rather the power gets distributed while the technique itself elongates.

The difference is rather obvious, one is made for slicing, and one is made for piercing. Two obvious contrasts.
Just because Sasuke sliced Madara in half with CS does not mean he could not have pierced him with Chidori.

It can still be used as cutting attack.

If memory serves, I've only seen Kakashi use it as a cutting attack:

Exactly!

Since pretty much the chidori spear elongates, it makes the cutting power a little bit weaker witch is why is stated to be weaker compared to chidori.

Pretty much the reason why sasuke always has to risk himself getting closer to the enemy.

Kakashi calls his chidori "lightning cutter" though

Yeah he did use it as a cutting attack too:

I've never seen Sasuke do that though, it's probably the difference between Chidori and Raikiri.

Wait a second if the chidori itself couldn't hurt or even take a little blood from madara then how do you explain chidori eisou cutting him in half?

Well chidori eisou is slightly different from the version sasuke used against madara.

Chidori eisou normally comes from sasuke's hand like Normal chidori and is pure lightning, In Madara's case sasuke increased the cutting power of his sword by coating it with raiton, Which was already proven to be able to Cut/damage madara.

Chidori eisou is stated to be weaker in power than chidori, Less power means less power focused to a single point, lowering his ability to cut/Pierce, It would make little sense for Madara to tank a full on chidori but not Chidori Eisou which is already stated to be inferior.

Thats exactly what i am trying to say to this fellas, having madara tanking the chidori without taking any damage besides getting imobilized indicates that he has a body strong enough to tank chidori eisou.

And what is even worse is that this "the rasenshuriken had spread so it dint damaged him enough" argument doesn't fly since the moment it hit him it was still compressed yet it din't cut him in half.

So it pretty much points that the reason why madara was cut him half its because he dint enhaced himself it seems.
