That would only necessarily show that CTS is sharper not that it's stronger. If a 2" 1 lb. knife cuts a piece of paper but a 1' 6 lb. beam only smashes it does that mean the knife is stronger? Also FRS cut something CTS couldn't, the tree so....

They are both the same thing they both cut and pierce as stated in the manga The chidori its not stronger its more powerfull in both pircing and cutting, the only part were is the chidori spear is considered better is because it gives more range so that the user doens't have to get too close.

Databook saying otherwise is irrelevant when the manga contradicts it, the data book doesn't list Sasuke as a user of CT, it also doesn't list Naruto as a user of yin release.
