That's what chakra is. Characters constantly establish that chakra, in raw form (no fire/water affinity), is not something physical, as shown in Kidomaru's fight with Neji and that raw chakra actually being visible in cases like Susano;O, Kyuubi cloak, or Kaiten are examples of so much chakra being used that it becomes visible. "One of the most in depth, fleshed out characters in the manga"? He is a step short of being a mary sue. Itachi's entire character has one single flaw, and that being he prefers to work alone, and by the end of the manga, he realises this and corrects it himself rather than being pushed into this development by someone else. I would take it if Kishimoto were trying to make him an example for the perfect Shinobi, but he clearly wants to drive the point home how wrong Itachi was, so what gives, even?

Yin Nature and Yang Nature are basic components of chakra, but they can still be used separately, as shown with Genjutsu being Yin Nature.

Supernatural definition:

(of a manifestation or event) attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature

Yata mirror in manga is supernatural meaning the laws of nature does not apply to it thus completely proving it is not chakra but a completely different type of spiritual entity.

Yata Mirror is definitely not spiritual energy lol. Spiritual energy cannot experience physicality. Tayuya's 9th Verse for example is an example of this.

If this is the case, it's the epitome of nonsense. How do people even enjoy a character whose moves are so broken even the supernatural fictional world he lives in isn't enough to explain the BS logic behind said moves?
