People only deny such because they can't stand such a portrayal. Kishimoto gave Itachi the keys to success, blame Kishimoto, not Itachi.

Yata and totsuka works only as long as Itachi has chakra and that's his limit and even with them I don't think he's invincible just like Temari can't destroy the universe.
Temari's is hyperbole, because she didn't show such in the Manga. Amaterasu is hyperbole because it didn't show being sun temperature in the Manga. Itachi's invincibility is fact as both databook, and Manga rectify such.
Yes, they only work with chakra, because they're connected to his Susano'o which can only be erected via chakra.

You can at least be fair.....Kabuto wanted Sasuke alive, Itachi couldn't die & had an unlimited chakra capacity & no negative drawbacks from his MS. Itachi was pretty much a healing EMS. Itachi had to sacrifice an eye to stop Kabuto, and you are clinging to a technicality.

Let's not be ignorant here. Itachi isn't invincible without Yata Mirror/Totsuka Blade active. Anyone in base is susceptible to death; however, with the keys to success (Yata & Totsuka) invincibility is attainable through manifestation.

Itachi's invincibility isn't fact, he fought against a non MS Sasuke and Itachi was clearly much stronger than him and where did the manga rectify his invincibility. His MS is one of the best and coupled with his intelligence and skills he's quite a formidable opponent but lets be honest here, he's not invincible.
