What do you like better, debating with people in real life or online?

I personally like real life better because you don't have to spend like 10-15 minutes typing your whole argument and wait another 10 minutes for a response.

real life i would say because some people are too scared to debate in real life so they hide behind their computers

Pretty much the same as you. Sometimes i have really good points that i forget about in the process of typing out a huge response and then have to go edit to make it fit

There are pros and cons to each.

On the internet, I have plenty of time to think through a response and can respond to a person far more thoroughly without interrupting him/her. I can also make my full point without being interrupted.

In person, however, it is much easier to find a common denominator. People tend to be much more open to the idea of following another person's thought process when face-to-face. There usually tends to be more respect afforded to each person, too. It's easy to forget there is a person behind the text you are destroying.

I don't care either way, as long as the debater is able to come up with a good argument, I'll debate it and give my opinion/facts.

I don't really care, if I feel strongly about something I'll debate someone over it IRL or online....it's just kind two really different things because online is very detached but IRL can be a lot more in your face.
