Macs are pretty much linux under the hood. The raped the open source community and made a shiny desktop environment. meh... Even if you're rich why buy what you can get for free?
I still can't fathom the reasoning behind wanting to use Microsoft products. It like paying for a new car that you know is going to break down every 1000 miles, and you can't fix it yourself (even though you're a mechanic) because the hood is welded shut.

Linux is the best under the hood imo, but i prefer windows.
I run a Asus laptop with 8gb ram, Intel Core i7 Turbo 2.93 GHz with 750gb hdd.
I got the specs upgraded, it still runs windows 7 pretty smooth but xp is still the best os.
