Strategy from the Kira's role: As soon as I saw KingScorp's post I would have immediately said, "guys, I am not Kira. I promise you. If you vote for me you are making a mistake." I am not the Shinigami, but I'm willing to bet Scorp is, with such a quick accusation." If Mei and Scorp make it though the voting, everyone would expect Scorp to die if Mei was the Kira, so I wouldn't kill Scorp. Does that make sense?

Well some strategy should have been used. In a 5 man game, Kira should win every time. But, in order to win he/she needs to ruin the reputation of the Shinigami in the first round, and confuse everyone.
