Hell was previously convicting Rucken as Kira through the quotes Rucken, and I exchanged earlier. However, NOW Hell is on Rucken's side so unexpectingly. This leads me to believe Rucken had some sort of Connection with Hell.

Team Kira simply has to kill off an innocent player each LP. They could 'support' any member of their Team who is close to getting lynched by voting for other players who are also close to getting lynched, ImperialMadara in this case.

Which is what happened, there were three candidates and imperial madara took the L due to the confusion of one of the votes, having such close contenders without everyone bandwagoning on one player is not a coincidence. One of those three was being saved if we go by your logic.
