^What US anime adaptations have there been, though? Besides the obvious DBZ, which is pretty much an American show at this point, anyways. Give Hollywood a chance before you bad-mouth all anime films.
The one that really caught my eye was young Snoop Dogg from Straight Outta Compton playing Americanized L (the re-nationalization does make sense, and is hopefully what they do with Ghost in the Shell to help clear all that mess up). That's either gonna turn out like Michael B. Jordan in Fantastic Four or Morgan Freeman in Shawshank. I don't know anything else the guy's done, so hopefully he hits it out of the park. The plus side is I can definitely see his skinny ass sitting like L doesxd
