“Kaie your coming to live with me cause I cant stand the thought of you in some strange place.” He said this very softly looking down at me. I closed my eyes as I thought about moving in with Jacy. I love Jacy and I want to be with him. His 18 I’m 17, I got kicked out by my mom and dad, I have no where else to go. I want to live with him. You know come to think I wanted him. “Kaie what you thinking about?” I smile and look down. “Just how much I want to move in with you and how much I want to be your girlfriend and.” I blushed a deep read and said. “And how much I want you, to lay with you after we’re done and one day to have your kids.” I blushed a deeper red. “K-Kaie y-you where thinking of that?” I didn’t look up I just nod. I can feel Jacy doing something but I didn’t look up I just close my eyes and lean back against the bed and then I hear.
“Kaie? Are you awake?” I open my eyes to see that Jacy had cleaned off the bed and was looking at me as if he wanted to ask me something. “Yeah I’m awake Jacy you want to as me something?” Jacy looked like he was chewing over his words and the he says “Kaie are you ready right now? You know?” He looked down and blushed bright red. “You now to try it out?” Jacy looked with pleading eyes. I could read everything through his eyes. I could see lust wanting caring and the strongest of them all was love the one that I could see most clearly was love. The one thing that I was most unknowing about. “Jacy I would love to do it with you right now but now that I have something live for I don’t want my wrists to open again and us have to stop and call the nurses back in here to stop the bleeding then you have to leave. I need you right now.” He sighed and looked me in the eyes.
“Kaie your so smart you think ahead on so many different things. I want to know why you tried what you did and why I was able to fine you. I need to know why you did what you did.” Sigh. “I couldn’t think of anything else to do.” “Logan broke up with you how is that bad?” “I stayed with him so he couldn’t beat anyone else. I wanted to be sure that he couldn’t hurt anyone else and I told one person what he did to me and now that person is going out with him and by now I’m almost sure that he has rapped her by now I know cause.” I look down teats starting to well up in my eyes and I start to cry. “Cause that what he did to me. He rapped me and took things from me that I’ll never get back.” Jacy comes over to me picks me up and sets me in his lap and strokes my hair. “Kaie my poor Kaie if he ever touches you again I’ll brake every bone in his body.” That night I slept in Jacy’s arms and only shed one tear over my best friend what much be happing to her.
When I woke up I had forgotten everything that happened. That I was in Jacy’s arms, that Logan had broke up with me, me and my family kicked me out and that I was in the hospital and that I had fallen in love with Jacy my best guy friend. “Kaie baby are you ok?” as soon as Jacy said that I remembered everything . “Yeah Jacy I’m fine.” He sighed and kissed me softly and held me tight. “Its going to be ok. And Kaie while you were asleep so don’t start flipping your wrists that’ll hurt worse.” Jacy looked down at me and kinda smiled. It was then that I seen it in his eyes. Something happened to Asha to the only other person that knows that Logan beat me.
“Jacy what happened to her? What happened to Asha?” Jacy looked down about to cry. “She she died Kaie last night her parents called 911 and they where back here within three minutes but she was bleeding inside and out. She she lost to much blood. She died before she got here. “I started to cry before he got it all out. Crying seemed to be the only thing I could do but then I remembered something. Through the tears I chocked out. “Jacy it was Logan wasn’t it? He killed her didn’t he?” Jacy just nodded and pulled me into his arms and held me close to him. After an half hour I had stopped crying and was fast asleep again in Jacy’s arms but this time I wasn’t lucky enough to have a dreamless sleep. I dreamed I was running away from everything that me and Jacy where leaving this town and never coming back and then Asha is in front of us and she’s yelling. Yelling that I didn’t care about her. Yelling that I killed her yelling that it was my fault that she was dead.
I woke up to someone shaking me and yelling for me to wake up. It wasn’t Jacy I could feel his arms tight around my waist but I knew that voice that voice had given me nightmares and still to this day give me nightmares. I open my eyes ready to scream and fight him off and I looked straight into those dark brown
eyes with specks of green in them a nose that looked broken but wasn’t thick light brown hair. “WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THING YOUR DOING WITH HIM!!!!” His booming voice washed over me and Jacy. Use to I would have cowered back but I changed the day I thought I lost everything but I gained more then I lost. “What do I think I’m doing? I thought that even you weren’t that stupid.” As soon as I called him stupid he slapped me. Before I could do anything but wince in pain and rub my cheek Jacy struck out at Logan and punched him in the nose lets go of me and pushes me behind him hiding me. “WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT BITCH?!?!?!” Logan yelled at Jacy. “Cause you hit her, you hit a girl but most of all cause you rapped her and killed her best friend!! That’s why if you need more reasons I can drag some up if you like!!!” I could just make out the side of Jacy’s face and he looked pissed. I’ve never seen Jacy so mad it scared me. I looked at Logan and he had a bloody nose and was looking at Jacy in shock. I kinda know how Lagan is feeling this time cause no one had ever seen Jacy this mad. He had always been sweet and kind but never angry. You could never find hatred or vengeance in those baby blue eyes you could always find love. The dirty blond hair was sticking up in odd places but his hair looked on end as if he was ready to jump Logan.
“Leave now it’s the best thing for every one here.” Jacy had been talking to Logan while I was in my own little world. “I’m not going anywhere with out Kaie!” Logan screamed coming towards me. Jacy punche him in the nose again really braking his nose this time. “She doesn’t love you she loves me and you had your chance and you did her wrong you beat and rapped her!! She don’t need you!” “Then why did she stay with me so long if she didn’t like all that?!?” “Cause she didn’t want you doing that to anyone else no matter how much you hurt her she was brave but she don’t have to be anymore cause she’s with me now!” Thinking fast while the boys were fighting about whose I was I took my chance and ran for the door. Logan seen me and made to grab me but Jacy knew what I was doing so he grabbed Logan and held him so I could get out of the door to get someone to help. By the time I got to the hall I could hear someone beating the shit out of the other.
I hope Jacy’s winning “Kaie what are you doing out of bed?!? Where’s Jacy??” It was Krissy. “Back in my room my ex and Jacy are fighting. My ex was trying to get me to leave with him and he slapped me!!” I said this all vary fast wanting to get back to Jacy and see if he was ok. While I was in my little world two big men had come up to us and were walking a little ways behind if Logan came out of the room and not Jacy I mine kill him. I speed up to catch up with Krissy to make sure that I could see whose still standing. We get to the door and one of the men opened the door and Jacy was on the ground Logan standing over him grinning.
I screamed the two men ran in and handcuffed Logan and dragged him away. I don’t know where and I don’t care where they took him. Krissy and I ran to Jacy. He had a bloody nose, busted lip and a black eye. “Jacy are you ok?” Krissy asked as if he had cut his finger. Jacy closed his eyes and nodded. “Jacy your not ok Logan beat you bad!!” Jacy opened his eyes and said “Kaie I’ll be fine baby I’ll just have to stay here with you so both of us can get better.” Krissy started cleaning up all the blood helped him up and set him on our bed. Jacy told me to come over to him. I set on the edge of the bed. Jacy pulled me into his lap and pulled me into him. “Jacy are you sure your ok?” “Yes Kaie I’ll be fine now how’s your cheek?” “Yeah I’m fine.” “Kaie he left a mark on your cheek.” He touched my cheek gently.
“Kaie are you sure your ok?” He rubbed his thump over my cheek. I hug him close to me hiding my face in his chest starting to cry. “No I’m not ok cause Logan beat the shit out of you cause of me!” “No you didn’t do this to me Kaie Logan your not to blame here he is.” Jacy kissed my cheek and pulled me into his chest and he falls asleep. Sigh. Jacy why did you let him do this to you? I know you can take him your stronger than him. Jacy oh Jacy why didn’t you beat him? Sigh, I lay my head down on his chest and goes to sleep. Dreaming that me and Jacy were moving my stuff to his house.
