DBZ Fans: Goku vs. Gohan

OKay, here's the deal. I'm pretty bad about 'liking' or wanting to continue series due to main character switches or next generations. Now you see, I love Goku. I love all his fight scenes and his badass moments, ever since Dragon Ball.

But my question to all you fans is.... Who is stronger between Goku and Gohan (and who do you like more?)? Without all the fusions and extras added. Because I love Goku, and I have found it difficult for myself to finish up Dragon Ball Z due to Gohan's constant 'appraisal.'

Don't get me wrong, I love Gohan....buttttt~, I love Goku more ^^"

Please no criticism! I just want straight answers on who you think is stronger between the two!

Goku barely beat Kid Buu and he is one of the weakest Buu. Gohan was just toying with Super Buu who is stronger than Kid Buu. ABC logic works in DBZ so Gohan > Goku not counting GT.

Exactly... Kid Buu is mental and nothing can stop him... Super Buu Gohan can do just as much damage, if not more, just that he's sane and won't do something so dramatic. He's only toying with people and having some fun...

OT: I have never loved an anime character as much as I have loved Gohan. After Cell saga, Gohan was originally intended to take over as chief protector of the Earth, but fans just didn't have enough Goku, so he was brought back. Also, they made Gohan look like an idiot in the Saiyaman Saga :T_T: They just couldn't restore his respect after that.

Gohan is stronger and a more believable person... everyone in DBZ is nice to him and he's certainly better at keeping relationships...

Mystic Gohan > Goku. Gohan was beating the crap out of Super Buu before he absorbed Gotenks. Gotenks is as strong as Super Buu and Goku said that Gotenks was stronger than him.
