As Merlin cups one of his hands around his mouth and yells into the abyss he suddenly finds himself engulfed in harmless black flames that fill his vision. Almost as quickly as they appeared the flames receded, exposing an expansive barren wasteland with a number of buttes littered across the terrain. Ten meters away from him, atop one of these structures, Melin notices the spectral form of the Dark Towers' current champion, Sasuke Uchiha. He stares down at the Magus of Flowers from his high sitting position. Holding the man's gaze, the Uchiha slowly rises to his feet and dislodges his chokuto from the earth as his pupils shift from an inky black to deep crimson color, with his initial three tomoe evolving into a uniquely complex shape. He returns the weapon to it's sheath beneath his cloak and leaps from his perch.

Description:
One of the Three Great Dōjutsu (San Daidōjutsu), the Sharingan is the kekkei genkai of the Uchiha clan. Unlike the other Dōjutsu, not all members of the Uchiha Clan possess the Sharingan. This great Dōjutsu seems to awaken only on exceptional Uchiha members and only in times of great stress. Once awaken, the pupil turns red and a single tomoe (巴) seal appears around the center pupil. As the user masters and evolves their eyes, the tomoe (巴) seals increase, topping 3 per eye. The main ability of the Sharingan, like any other Dōjutsu, is to enable the user to see the flow of chakra. This ability is further improved as the Sharingan gives color to chakra, enabling the user to differentiate chakras from different people or from different sources. Although the user can see chakra through matter, he cannot see beyond dense matter or in long distances. Coupled with the ability to see chakra, Sharingan users gain acess to an incredible clarity of perception that enables them to read insanely fast movements or minor details, enabling them the ability to foresee in an easier way, traps, incoming attacks, etc. This clarity of perception is so great that a Sharingan user can sometimes start performing a counter to an attack that is still being performed, enabling the counter to be launched only a split a second after the attack. This clarity of perception leaves Sharingan users able to track high speed movement easily as well as to read through handseals. This last ability enables them to learn techniques much faster and sometimes copy them directly from the enemy, as long as the user has the necessary chakra affinities and requirements to perform it. Finally, the Sharingan is often linked to Genjutsu and mind-manipulating illusions, mostly because the user can, mostly through Eye Contact, directly and precisely use his chakra to manipulate the enemy's chakra flow. In return, the users clarity of perception gives him the ability to more easily decipher visual illusions cast upon him and see past them. The Sharingan has a great cost to the user though. The chakra consumption disables its use for long periods of time and, even when the user grows stronger, it's still hard to keep it active for long periods of time.
Note: The user, if he hasn't gained full mastery over his Sharingan, will need to spend a move to activate it, although as long as he has chakra and enough stamina he'll be able to keep it active until the end of the match. If the user is Sannin Rank or above and has gained his 3 Tomoe Sharingan and held it for one month, he becomes able to passively activate it, meaning he'll no longer spend a move of his 3 per turn.

Description: The Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan literally meaning " Eternal Kaleidoscope Copy Wheel Eye", is the final step in the evolutionary state of the Sharingan. While Mangekyo Sharingan is but an imperfect Dojutsu, unable to sustain and keep its own power, weakening with each use, the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan brings control and balance to the power wielded. By merging the users own MS with that of his sibling, the use is able to awaken the EMS. The EMS grants the user the same abilities granted by MS but to unsurpassed levels. While granting the user the ability to perceive the world with increadible insight, it also grants the user the ability to see through S-Rank visual illusions and track the movement speed of almost anything, perfecting the already amazing abilities of the standard MS, like casting Genjutsu without the need for handseals as long as a line of sight to the target is available. A unique feat however, is that once the user awakens EMS, he loses access to his normal MS, transitioning from 3T form to EMS directly. While MS damages the user as time passes and severely tires and drains the user as its used, the EMS doesn't. The user can keep it active without losing his eyesight or damaging himself and can use the normal MS techniques with no activation reduction or drawbacks. Its true that the chakra cost is higher, but the user will feel little to no effect in his stamina and energy. Through his EMS, Madara gained the ability to control Tailed Beasts by forcefully using his sharingan genjutsu/mind manipulation abilities to take control of the Bijuu and temporarily sever its connection to the host. If the Jinchuriki is in normal form or entering one of the transformations, it's blocked from transforming for 3 turns. If it's in incomplete form, it's forced back into normal form and left unable to access his bijuu for 3 turns and if its in complete form, the user gains control over the bijuu, manipulating its movements/actions completely for 2 turns or until the complete form ends (whatever comes first), leaving the host unable to acess his bijuu for 3 turns.

In doing so, the user will increase the power and size of the fire jutsu boosting any fire jutsu by 20 damage points. By the increase in chakra the fire gains more power as it increases the power of the fire blast as the fire gains more power as it absorbs more oxygen increasing its power. . The user can also choose to perform this technique after their fire jutsu has already been created, so that this jutsu occurs in a separate time frame.

The world morphed around the incubus, momentarily trapped in an infinite expanse of darkness. As Merlin turned to inspect his surroundings, the black flames melted away to reveal a lifeless desert, dotted with large stone structures few and far between. The sun's heat radiated from the cloudless sky, bearing down on Merlin as his eyes traced the butte in front of him, upon which stood a cloaked man with raven hair. As he leapt from his perch bearing eyes of crimson, Merlin activated his Sage Mode and averted his eyes from the shinobi's crimson gaze, ready for the fight he knew was coming.

Description: An empowered state of body achieved by blending natural energy with one’s physical and spiritual energy. The mode heightens performance on all levels by adding a new dimension of power to the user’s chakra. The state is a direct result of Senjutsu chakra circulating through the body. To enter this form, a minimum of 10% of the user’s maximum chakra reserve must be moulded into Senjutsu chakra, all subsequent technique employ Senjutsu chakra until the minimum cost (-10/turn) cannot be paid to sustain the mode. The user is resistant to damage, reducing 30 damage from all techniques and can heal (for 10 damage per turn), for the duration of this technique. The user is able to passively sense chakra and his/her perception and reflexes are enhanced by x4. Their ninjutsu and strength increases, empowering taijutsu and other close range physical combat techniques by +30. Additionally, Genjutsu cast by the user are empowered requiring the opponent to use Genjutsu release, of one rank higher than what is normally required. Lastly, the user gains access to physical feats granted by Sage mode. Unlike other variations of Sage mode, Wood release and its natural affinity towards Natural energy allows the user to gather natural energy more easily. While meditating the user is able to use Ninjutsu up to A rank of Wood release and its components. However, only techniques that employ shape manipulation can be used and the rate of conversion between Chakra and Senjutsu Chakra is 5% per turn (Sage mode activates at 10% reserve, requires uninterrupted meditation). The user can continue to use this ability once he enters Sage mode, to extend the duration but his techniques are not empowered.
Note: Usable thrice per battle by Perfect Sages only. Must wait 1 turn before using this technique again.
Note: This variation of Sage mode can only be used by Senju Hashirama or Uchiha Madara.
Note: Perfect Sages can convert a maximum of 40% of their total chakra reserve.

Though he sensed the build up of chakra, the sheer power and size of the flames still surprised him. Leaping high into the air while forming a sequence of three seals, Merlin avoided the searing fire that surged toward his previous location while conjuring an aura of violet flames that rapidly coalesced into the shape of a humanoid, bearing vaguely feminine features. This familiar, thrice his size and dubbed Vivian, would behave similarly to the Susano'o technique, serving as a protective shield with him floating in its chest, ten meters above ground. Vivian would be empowered by both his Sage Mode and an additional infusion of energy from a separate technique, and once formed, would launch itself directly towards the enemy standing on the ground, flying over the flames that covered the ground with Merlin safely inside. Twisting its body slightly, Vivian would raise its right arm and form a fist, striking at the shinobi once within short range of him.

Description: The Eyes of God, or sometimes referred to as the Helix nebulae, are two nebulae within the Milky Way galaxy. This technique is considered the sibling to Primordial Creation and the Dark Heart of the Cosmos. The Eyes of God allows the user to manifest creations imbued with a higher form of sentience on the battlefield. These creations are limited only by the rank applied and the user’s imagination. While animalistic creations are generally preferred they are not limited to this, allowing for a wide range of familiars. As familiars created from energy they are capable of flight, regardless if they possess wings or not. Familiars can only reach a maximum height of twenty meters. There exist two separate applications of the Eyes of God: forming and manifesting familiars on the battlefield or manifesting familiars as an ethereal guardian around one’s person. S-Rank usages of the Eyes of God, regardless of which application, can only be used two times per battle and cannot be used in consecutive turns. No S-Rank or above Mystic Fire on the turn an S-Rank familiar is deactivated. A-Rank and above familiars can only exist on the battlefield for a maximum of four turns. B-Rank applications require the user weave a single hand seal, two for A-Ranks and three for S-Ranks.

Single Helix (Tan’itsu Rasen Seiun): The Single Helix, named after the commonly known Helix nebula itself within the constellation Aquarius, is used to manifest creations on the battlefield with a higher degree of sentience. As creations with a higher degree of sentience these can be created anywhere on the battlefield including around the user’s own person, although this is a lesser used application. Familiars cannot be created within short-range of the opponent unless the user is present within that range as well, in which case familiars cannot be created within two meters of the opponent. These creations are limited only by the user’s imagination. The default abilities of creations made through the Single Helix allows them, at the user’s volition, to possess a concentrated state allowing the energy which they are composed of to take a physical form. The default abilities of creations made through the Single Helix allow them to utilize Mystic Fire techniques up to and including the rank of the created familiar. Mystic Fire Release techniques which require hand seals can be utilized by the guardian, much like Susano’o’s ability to utilize hand seals, but requires the created guardian to possess hands. Because they are familiars which possess a higher degree of sentience they are capable of acting independent of their user’s concentration. Multiple familiars can be created and will follow normal splitting rules.

Double Helix (Nijūrasen Seiun): The Double Helix, named after the lesser known Double Helix Nebula near the core of the Milky Way, is used to manifest an ethereal guardian around one’s person. Like the Single Helix, this Guardian also possesses a higher degree of sentience and can act independently of the user’s concentration. These familiars, like its lesser versions, can be created within the limitations of the user’s imagination. The default abilities of creations made through the Double Helix allows them to utilize Mystic Fire techniques up to and including the rank of the created guardian. Mystic Fire Release techniques which require hand seals can be utilized by the guardian, much like Susano’o’s ability to utilize hand seals, but requires the created guardian to possess hands. The guardian possesses a form of solidity, much like the concentration of energy found in other constructs, however this does not hinder the user’s techniques to pass through the guardian should the need arise.

Description: Pillar of the Two Horizons focuses on the nature of Dendera Light as a superconductor of energy. This technique is an infusion with two usages that revolve around this quality, imbuing any energy-based technique of choice with unique effects upon the incorporation of extra chakra into said technique. Performing either of these applications can be done so in the same timeframe as the creation of the chosen target, or anytime it is on the field, and each infusion’s duration is equivalent to that of the chosen target.

East Horizon: The lesser A-Rank application, Earth Horizon infuses the targeted technique with additional chakra (+10), and applies two effects. The first, and more basic effect, is a simple increase in power, equivalent to +1 Rank, with techniques above S-Rank being granted +20 damage instead. The second is the effective transformation of the targeted jutsu into a superconductor, allowing for the total absorption of techniques it clashes with. Though Dendera Light already has the natural capacity to absorb energy, this technique enhances that quality. Absorption follows the S&W scheme of the host technique (equal rank for neutral elements, one rank higher for elements weak to it, one rank lower for elements strong to it). Techniques based in Lightning Release (having Lightning as a component or being Lightning Release) and respecting the S&W of the jutsu targeted by East Horizon will be passively absorbed without weakening it, but techniques which are of sufficient strength or aren't based in Lightning Release will clash normally instead. The East Horizon requires a single turn cooldown between uses, and can be used four times per battle.

West Horizon: The West Horizon is the greater S-Rank application, and greatly enhances the effects exhibited by the East Horizon. The first being the amount of power granted by the infusion. By infusing a greater quantity of chakra (20 chakra cost, but the technique only gains +10 points), the technique will gain an additional 30 damage points. The absorption capability is identical to the effects outlined in East Horizon, though the range at which the targeted jutsu can absorb other techniques is greatly increased (jutsu up to mid-range away can be absorbed, respecting the aforementioned conditions). The West Horizon can be used twice per battle, and requires a two turn cooldown between usages. With his opening move easily evaded Sasuke halts his attack as the large humanoid figure flies over the flames towards him. His left eye suddenly takes on the rippled pattern of the Rinnegan, and the passive activation of the Preta and Deva Paths follows. He makes use of the former to deploy an advanced sealing technique that results in complete absorption of the entity once it enters short-range and moves to strike him with its fist, leaving Melin to be carried forward as he falls to the earth.

Description: One of the 3 great Doujutsu, the Rinnegan has, like the other, the ability to see chakra and the chakra flow of individuals. It also allows the user a great clarity of perception and tracking abilities, although its levels vary from user to user. It also grants a family of abilities collectively known as the Six Paths Technique. The user is also able to summon and control the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path. After receiving half of Hagoromo Ōtsutsuki's chakra, Sasuke awakened a Rinnegan in his left eye, with three tomoe on each of its two innermost circles. If overused and weakened enough, it will temporarily lose the tomoe and it's full strength until fully recharged. During this time, Sasuke will also lose the ability to even form his Mangekyo Sharingan within his right Sharingan and access its powers until his Rinnegan has recharged. As a result, using the Rinnegan repeatedly requires Sasuke to close his eye to recharge initially.

Description: A highly advanced sealing technique that is capable of absorbing any chakra, regardless of any shape or nature transformation, and dispersing it within one's body by spinning the chakra within one's body in the opposite direction. As a result, this technique can absorb any ninjutsu based technique, regardless of power, without harming the user. Should the user get close enough to grab the opponent, the barrier can absorb chakra right out of an individual's body, effectively draining them (similar to the Chakra Absorption Technique). If the user is weakened or injured, he can use this technique to absorb chakra and replenish his chakra resources and restore his stamina and chakra flow. If used to absorb Bijuu chakra, the user can even regenerate by half the amount absorbed, using the special vitality of that powerful chakra to power his body and regenerate. However, the user will also be vulnerable to the effects of chakra he cannot control, such as with Senjutsu. Both these aspects, however, pertain to a direct contact absorption and not technique absorption. When using the technique for direct contact chakra absorption, the user can absorb up to 100 chakra points per turn which he can convert into his own.

The sudden halt in Vivian's flight jarred Merlin, the violet flames of his familiar unravelling around him. Though his technique had been absorbed, he opted to continue pressing the advance, forming a single seal and using a considerable amount of chakra to grow four wooden tendrils from his shoulder blades and lower back, augmented by Factor of the Dragon and Black Edge. The tendrils first darken and grow scales, then are coated in writhing Osmium. The two lower tendrils would stake themselves into the ground beneath Merlin, stabilising what would have been an uncontrolled descent by lowering him and pushing him foward, while other two would fly towards the opponent after their absorption technique had completed. One of the attacking tendrils would fly slightly forward of the other, smashing through the crescent of black flames conjured by the Uchiha, allowing them to continue on to skewer the Uchiha through their right arm and chest, preventing further use of the sword and anchoring them where they stood.

Description: Grasp of the Incubus is a relatively simple technique, combining the user's ability to create Wood from their body with the unique qualities of the Gate of the Great God technique. Through Grasp of the Incubus, the user can create up to four tendrils of wood that sprout from their back, each one capable of extending itself to reach mid-range distances in order to smash, stab, or constrict targets. The damage is not split between each tendril, but attacking a single target with more than one tendril will not deal more than the technique's stated damage, and the destruction of individual tendrils will not end the technique. These tendrils are similar in size to the wooden branches of the Great Forest technique, and possess the unique chakra sealing and absorption capabilities of the Gate of the Great God technique, allowing them to restrict the target's use of chakra with physical contact. This effect is immediate, and so long as physical contact is maintained, the target(s) cannot mould chakra for techniques above A-Rank, and will experience chakra drain at a rate of 30 points per turn, which will be added to the user's reserves. Once physical contact is broken, the effect will cease, returning full chakra control to the target. These effects are exacerbated when used on a Jinchūriki, making chakra moulding for techniques above B-Rank impossible and increasing the rate of chakra absorption to 45 points per turn. If the target is in their Initial Transformation state, it will be forcibly cancelled. If the target is in their Full Transformation state, they will be forced to revert to the Initial Transformation state. This technique lasts for four turns, and can be used twice per battle with a three turn cooldown. Description: Factor of the Dragon is a supplementary ability applied to Wood Release techniques, either in the same timeframe as their creation or anytime they are on the field. Principally, it is similar to how the Wood Dragon technique is used to augment the Wood Human technique, but it can be applied to any of the user’s Wood Release jutsu. When applied to a technique, Factor of the Dragon reinforces it by growing additional wood through the infusion of an additional 10 chakra points, strengthening it by +1 Rank, or +20 damage for techniques above S-Rank. Cosmetically, the technique will darken in appearance, the bark changing in shape to resemble scales. In the case of Wood Release techniques which burrow into the ground, or occur from within the ground, techniques which alter the terrain such as Great Moving Earth Core will be unable to take effect, due to the structures of Wood Release holding them in place. This can be overcome if the terrain-altering technique in question possesses higher chakra to the Wood technique it's is faced against. Factor of the Dragon can be used up to four times per battle.

Description: Black Edge is a supplementary technique aimed to enhance the strength of the user's techniques which are derived from solid and liquid elements, such as Earth and Water Release, and other CE/AE of a similar nature to the aforementioned basic elements. By infusing additional chakra into a chosen technique, in the same timeframe as its creation or anytime it is on the field, the user forcibly produces Osmium within its mass, bolstering its structural integrity by taking advantage of the element's own density. This results in the strength of the targeted technique being increased by an additional rank, or +20 damage for jutsu above S-Rank. Defensive techniques or ones without damage will be capable of defending against one rank higher than usual. For Earth Release techniques and AE/CE of a solid nature, the strengthened jutsu will turn darker, its surface resembling a writhing mass of minerals due to the nature of light reflecting off the element itself, as a result of the infusion. In the case of Water Release and AE/CE of a liquid nature, they will darken to the point of almost resembling oil. Black Edge does not alter the inherent properties of targeted techniques, or their strengths and weaknesses. This technique can be used four times per battle with a one turn cooldown and requires a single handseal upon use.

Description: Using the Deva Paths abilities to manipulate gravitational forces, the user will repulse and push away anything around him up to a given range, in all directions, producing an omni-repulsion effect. The force and repulsive effect is absolute, affecting both energy and matter alike. The technique itself can be used with different ranges/sizes, depending on how much chakra the user spends for the technique and can even, in its smaller form, be sustained, forming a static defensive field instead of a wave-like effect.

Shōkibo - Small Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to short range. The offensive power in this size is not that high as it hits opponents but can still do severe damage. It isn't, however, fatal, boasting a physical 40 damage. If the user focuses this ability with the help of his hands he can sustain a defensive absolute repulsive field around him. He can't, however, do any technique while he is sustaining it and he can only sustain it for 2 turns. Once used, takes one turn cool down to use gravitational related techniques again, becoming when the technique ends.

Chūkibo - Medium Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to mid range. The offensive power in this size is severe, sending opponents flying backwards with enough force to, if not defended properly, leave near fatal physical damage. Although not directly fatal, the technique boasts a physical damage of 80. If the user focuses this ability through one or both hands, he can push away a specific target or technique alone, instead of producing the normal omni-repulsive wave. Once used, takes 2 turns cool down to use gravitational related techniques again.

Ōkibo - Large Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to long range. The offensive power of the technique is devastating and anything in its path that doesn't manage to defend properly is left obliterated. Its fatal if unguarded, boasting a physical damage of 160. Using this techniques poses a great deal of danger to the user as he damages his chakra pathway itself to be able to mold sufficient chakra to perform it. Once used, the user loses the use of any gravitational related techniques for the remainder of the fight and is unable to mold chakra for Rinnegan techniques and S ranks and above for 5 turns.

Note: The technique is immune to normal Elemental Weaknesses and Strengths and as such can't be physically blocked, absorbed or dodged by becoming intangible or similar means. However, the enemies can still use techniques that reduce physical damage to their bodies to survive its effects or escape its range through a fast enough technique. This means that in the large scale, while the technique can't be stopped, avoided or directly countered, enemies can still manage to survive if they are able to reduce the damage done enough.

Opting not to sustain the defensive field, Sasuke deactivated the Preta Path and activated the Outer Path as he manifests a purple aura that coalesces into the ethereal guardian known as Susano'o. Armed with a bow, the entity produces two arrows of chakra that it immediately fires towards Merlin.

Description: Susano'o is a gigantic, humanoid avatar made of the user's chakra which manifests around the user and becomes an extension of their will, acting and attacking on their behalf. By default, Susano'o is anchored to its user and they to it: in its less developed forms it will move around with the user; in its more completed forms the user will be suspended within Susano'o, being brought with it as it moves. This connection allows Susano'o to shield against physical attacks, becoming more difficult to penetrate as it is manifested more fully.

Standard:
In its initial form (requires EMS), Sasuke's Susano'o has S-rank durability and for combat, employs either a sabre or a bow (S-rank constructs). With regards to the latter, it is able to produce arrows of chakra to use in tandem with said bow via an orb held by its third hand. Up to two arrows can be shot per turn with each retaining the same damage output and traveling quickly (2x Sage base speed). Alternatively, the arrows can be used as makeshift melee weapons. More notably, its own abilities can be used in conjunction with Blaze Release, which occurs passively. At this level, it becomes able to use Yasaka Magatama as well.


Complete Body:
Two turns after it initially manifests, the user stabilizes their chakra and hence induces their Susano'o to advance to its final form. In its final form, Susano'o acquires new traits including a tengu-esque nose, wings for flight, and robes with ornate armor. But more importantly, it gains power akin to a Bijuu. Once stabilized, the Complete Body form can protect its user from all but the strongest of attacks (100 damage). And with regards to its offense, its weapons can inflict F-rank damage up to long-range no matter the weapon being used, with the sword having been shown able to cleave mountains.

Indra Susano'o:
When drawing on the power of the Rinnegan, the armor surrounding the Complete-Body form is reduced somewhat while the size of the Susano'o nearly doubles, exposing the humanoid within. The humanoid form below glows like lightning and emits this lightning from it's body like Chidori. This Susano'o gains a significant power increase, allowing it to reduce up to 120 damage. It can also use it's blades to deal damage on the same scale, dealing 120 damage with the sword it generates. Sasuke is also able to perform his Chidori through this Susano'o as well as Susano'o: Great Fireball Technique and Indra's Arrow. This form can only be activated once per event and only after Complete Body form has been reached, being able to trigger it at any point after. However, this form only lasts 3 turns due to it's tremendous chakra burn, requiring 100 to activate and 40 per turn to sustain.
Note: Counts as a move each turn it is active; moreover, Izanagi and Izanami cannot be used.

Before his technique could reach the Uchiha, Merlin was met with a sudden force. One that he couldn't see, but could feel pushing against his body with great might. His tendrils uprooted from the ground, Merlin grunted as he was sent careening backwards through the air, his potent healing powers restoring him to peak health before landing safely on the ground with the help of his tendrils. Were it not for his Flesh of the Incubus skill, his injury would have been far greater. "Tch."

In response to the manifestation of Susano'o, Merlin forms three seals, creating four giant wooden hands that would surround Sasuke directly in front, behind, and his left and right, using two of his unweakened tendrils to intercept the chakra arrows as they flew towards him with blistering speed. Meeting them mid-air, the tendrils soared directly into them, unweakened by the clash due to the massive disparity in power. The wooden hands are all created at a short range distance from the Uchiha, with Merlin standing behind the one that would approach the Sasuke from the front so as not to get caught by the attack. Empowered by his Sage Mode and enhanced through his Guile ability, the hands lurch towards their target, aiming to crush both Sasuke and his ethereal guardian in one fell swoop. With the arrows now dealt with, Merlin sends his tendrils after the giant wooden hand in front of him, beginning their travel at the same time as the hands, following closely behind. Once the hands successfully enclosed the opponent, smashing through the Susano'o and all, the tendrils would pass through the front hand to run Sasuke through and deal further damage. The tendrils would begin to absorb chakra from the trapped Uchiha, taking it from him and being stored within Merlin's Cygnus Seal. Opting to err on the side of caution, Merlin would call his rapier to hand through the Oathbound Insignia, ready for the Uchiha to emerge in an exuberant display of power.

Description: Those with the cells of Hashirama are able to use the immense regeneration ability to heal injuries afflicted on them in mere moments. Anyone who has these cells in their bodies are able to naturally use this. This allows the user to heal minor injuries such as cuts,gashes, broken fingers or wrist/ankle and other small bruises.

Level 1: Done passively, this allows the user to heal small to moderate injuries. These include things like small cuts to broken digits and bruises as well as bleeding. These involve injuries that result from taijutsu attacks to minor wounds such as stabs in limbs, some broken bones as well as internal bleeding, slight organ tears. This is for none life threatening wounds and heals up to 30 damage

Level 2: Taking the place of a jutsu per turn, the user is able to make use of the healing abilities of Hashirama's cells and apply them at a greater level, employing the cells to heal large injuries, such as shattered bones, ruptured organs, even regeneration of missing limbs. This requires a large amount of chakra, and can only be done up to 3 times a battle. This can only be used once every 2 turns of Wood SM and heals up to 60 ( or A rank ) damage.

Level 3: Deemed the ultimate regeneration at the cost of a jutsu per turn, the user is able to regenerate even the most deadly of injuries, such as a completely blown away chest or fully regrowing his body after bifurcation. After using, the user can only use one other jutsu the same turn. This can only be used a total of 3 times and once every 4 turns. As long as their head is attached/they have consciousness, this jutsu can be used. After using, the user can only use two other jutsu that turn and the next.

Note: Level 1 can only be used by bios with Hashirama DNA and access to Wood Release. Level 2 requires Wood SM to be active and Level 3 can only be utilized by the Juubi Jinchuriki.

Each hand can only be destroyed by S-Rank techniques but, due to their size, are not suited for attacking small targets.

Description: Incubus’ Guile is a supplementary ability, activated passively, that affords the user even greater control of their Wood Release. By infusing a Wood technique with 10 additional chakra points, that technique is granted the ability to merge with other Wood Release structures, including the user themselves, where they can be stored away and used later in battle, or allow other Wood Release techniques to be merged into them. At the user’s behest, without costing a move slot but taking a place in the timeframe, techniques can be released in any manner they choose. Techniques with a duration will last for as long as the technique they are merged with, and in the case of both techniques having a duration, each will last as long as the technique with the greater duration. This technique can be used four times per battle, once per turn.

Description: This technique employs a tag seal with the word ‘Repository’ inscribed on it and placed somewhere on the user’s body or on a weapon; in the case of a weapon the weapon must remain in contact with the user at all times. The seal can either be placed on the user’s biography and stated or placed during travel or battle, counting as a move. Cygnus Loop is a technique which utilizes Fūinjutsu’s ability to seal infinite quantities of various objects within a vessel, in this case the Cygnus seal. This acts as an effect chakra storage unit and can store infinite quantities of chakra absorbed and drained from another target through two methods. The first method passively allows the seal to link itself to the user’s absorptive techniques, such as the Multiple Infinite Embraces. Typically the Embraces will drain chakra and immediately deposit it in the user’s body; with the Cygnus seal this chakra is instead deposited in the seal itself. The second method is through the seal’s unique relationship with Mystic Fire Release and Fūinjutsu allowing the user to utilize Ultraviolet Radiance, a technique based on the Cygnus seal. Regardless of the application used when chakra is drained from an opponent or their techniques the chakra will be deposited within the seal. In essence Cygnus Loop acts as a bank and middleman. When chakra is stored in the seal the chakra is ‘purified’ within the seal. This effectively converts stolen chakra back into raw chakra. For example, should the user absorb Fire chakra and store it within the seal it will be converted into stored chakra and made readily available for the user to use for a future technique. Alternatively stored chakra can be freely absorbed into the user’s body to replenish their reserves. The Cygnus seal itself is an A-Rank seal and is fortified as such due to its relationship and infusion of Mystic Fire.

Description: The Oathbound Insignia is a seal with supplementary purpose, and is designed to be utilised in tandem with one’s weapons or tools. The seal can be placed on any piece of equipment or item of the user’s, or even ones they do not own, provided they make physical contact with said object. Once placed, the seal creates an invisible, form-fitting barrier on the object which is able to exert directional force and pressure on it, similarly to that of Infinite Embraces. This allows for the weapon to be controlled in a manner visually similar to that of the Lightning Blades Levitation, but through manipulation of a barrier, rather than an infusion of elemental chakra. This method of control only requires the user's thought, and does not cost a move slot to utilise in any way. This saves the user the trouble of having to physically reach for their weapon, and makes retrieval from a holster or from afar much easier. The user possesses total control over the behaviour of movement through the barrier, able to freely manipulate a marked object as they see fit. The speed at which a marked object can move via the barrier is 1.5x the user’s base speed at maximum, and always moves at this speed unless otherwise stated, allowing for swift recovery of the object. The user is able to mark their weapons and tools, but it must be stated in the user’s biography, otherwise one must manually place the seals during battle or when the situation allows. Only three objects can be marked at any given time, living targets cannot have this seal applied to them.

Sasuke smirks as the large wooden hands emerge from the earth and lurch towards him. The last thing Merlin sees before the hands obscure his vision of the Uchiha is the sly smile painting his face. He waits until the hands almost hit his ethereal guardian and instantly switches places with Merlin, who now finds himself surrounded by his own attacks and with limited, if any, time to react.

This technique not only switches the position, but the momentum and direction of the switched targets as well.

Short Range - The user is able to shift the location of himself anywhere within short range, instantly appearing in the new location. He can also use this ability to instantly switch positions with anything within short range of himself.

Mid Range - After spending 40 more chakra, the user is able to change his position and reappear anywhere within mid range of his original location. By targeting specific objects, the user can switch places with it instantly. The user can use this to shift his location up to 2 landmarks away if he is not in battle.

Long Range - Spending an incredulous 140 chakra, the user is able to shift his location and appear anywhere within long range, be it three landmarks away or entire countries away should he not be in battle. He is also able to switch positions with any object within long range in battle.

As his attack closed in on Sasuke, the world warped around Merlin. It had occurred so quickly, he could only believe it with confirmation from his sensory abilities, which now placed the Uchiha behind him. Even with his enhanced physical attributes, Merlin would be hard-pressed to defend himself from his own onslaught, which was strong enough to crush the mighty Susano'o itself. Luckily, he had modified the technique through Guile of the Incubus to be capable of merging with his own body, allowing it to pass into him without causing harm. Barely a second had elapsed between the incubus' sudden appearance in the midst of his own attack and its absorption, thus his eyes were still widened in surprise.

Even sooner, however, his composure returned. Repurposing his Laughing Attack of the Buddha, Merlin would send two of the great hands once merged with him back onto the field, crashing towards Sasuke one after the other. Their sheer size and proximity to the Uchiha would mean that his flames would never reach the sky to alter its atmospheric conditions, smashed out of existence by the speed and force of the opposing technique. Simultaneously to the hands' release, Merlin would turn to face Sasuke's direction, forming the Snake seal and causing roots of immense size to sprout from beneath the Susano'o, wrapping around and piercing through its ethereal defences. As they continued to grow, Sasuke would be trapped within their confines, tossed and turned within the mass of trees as the looming wooden hands slammed into them, causing further damage. Even if the Uchiha were to somehow survive the onslaught, the pollen released by the flowers sprouting along the tree growths would quickly incapacitate him if not dealt with. The forest itself would grow around the Uchiha's location, and further off behind him away from Merlin.

Sasuke's grin fades as he realizes that his plan has failed. Instead of being crushed by his own attacks, Merlin effortlessly merges them into his body, forgoing any damage before releasing them to crush the Uchiha while also attacking from below. Abandoning his original plan to bring forth the Gedo Mazo through the Outer Path, Sasuke instead faces the Incubus as he deactivates it and passively reactivates the Preta Path and makes use of its ability to absorb both the roots that sprouted from beneath and the massive wooden hands coming from in front of him. This is done by erecting the barrier around his partially formed Susano'o, allowing it to avoid being damaged in any way while also absorbing the roots in their entirety, preventing the forest and its pollen from manifesting.

As a result, this technique can absorb any ninjutsu based technique, regardless of power, without harming the user. Should the user get close enough to grab the opponent, the barrier can absorb chakra right out of an individual's body, effectively draining them (similar to the Chakra Absorption Technique). If the user is weakened or injured, he can use this technique to absorb chakra and replenish his chakra resources and restore his stamina and chakra flow. If used to absorb Bijuu chakra, the user can even regenerate by half the amount absorbed, using the special vitality of that powerful chakra to power his body and regenerate. However, the user will also be vulnerable to the effects of chakra he cannot control, such as with Senjutsu. Both these aspects, however, pertain to a direct contact absorption and not technique absorption. When using the technique for direct contact chakra absorption, the user can absorb up to 100 chakra points per turn which he can convert into his own.

His Susano'o finally stabilizes, evident by the tengu-esque nose, wings, and robes with ornate armor that it acquires as Sasuke becomes suspended in its head. Description: Susano'o is a gigantic, humanoid avatar made of the user's chakra which manifests around the user and becomes an extension of their will, acting and attacking on their behalf. By default, Susano'o is anchored to its user and they to it: in its less developed forms it will move around with the user; in its more completed forms the user will be suspended within Susano'o, being brought with it as it moves. This connection allows Susano'o to shield against physical attacks, becoming more difficult to penetrate as it is manifested more fully.

Standard:
In its initial form (requires EMS), Sasuke's Susano'o has S-rank durability and for combat, employs either a sabre or a bow (S-rank constructs). With regards to the latter, it is able to produce arrows of chakra to use in tandem with said bow via an orb held by its third hand. Up to two arrows can be shot per turn with each retaining the same damage output and traveling quickly (2x Sage base speed). Alternatively, the arrows can be used as makeshift melee weapons. More notably, its own abilities can be used in conjunction with Blaze Release, which occurs passively. At this level, it becomes able to use Yasaka Magatama as well.

Complete Body:
Two turns after it initially manifests, the user stabilizes their chakra and hence induces their Susano'o to advance to its final form. In its final form, Susano'o acquires new traits including a tengu-esque nose, wings for flight, and robes with ornate armor. But more importantly, it gains power akin to a Bijuu. Once stabilized, the Complete Body form can protect its user from all but the strongest of attacks (100 damage). And with regards to its offense, its weapons can inflict F-rank damage up to long-range no matter the weapon being used, with the sword having been shown able to cleave mountains.


Indra Susano'o:
When drawing on the power of the Rinnegan, the armor surrounding the Complete-Body form is reduced somewhat while the size of the Susano'o nearly doubles, exposing the humanoid within. The humanoid form below glows like lightning and emits this lightning from it's body like Chidori. This Susano'o gains a significant power increase, allowing it to reduce up to 120 damage. It can also use it's blades to deal damage on the same scale, dealing 120 damage with the sword it generates. Sasuke is also able to perform his Chidori through this Susano'o as well as Susano'o: Great Fireball Technique and Indra's Arrow. This form can only be activated once per event and only after Complete Body form has been reached, being able to trigger it at any point after. However, this form only lasts 3 turns due to it's tremendous chakra burn, requiring 100 to activate and 40 per turn to sustain.
Note: Counts as a move each turn it is active; moreover, Izanagi and Izanami cannot be used.

Although he'd successfully returned the favour on Sasuke, Merlin's assault was fated to fail. The mass of branches and sculpted wood halted in their tracks, being drawn into an absorption barrier deployed by the Uchiha through his Rinnegan. Taking advantage of his opponent's immobility, due to maintaining the barrier, Merlin would run in a straight line to Sasuke's left, sending his tendrils in an arc around the hands as they were being absorbed. Due to being a product of Senjutsu, the tendrils would bypass the absorption barrier, piercing the Susano'o and its user. Now stood beside Sasuke just outside short-range, Merlin would raise both his hands, firing empowered wooden stakes that would run the Uchiha through, finally defeating him.

Realized I don't take damage from having Susano'o up.
The encroaching tendrils force the Uchiha to abandon the use of his fire technique, and instead, he falls back on the familiar embrace of the Deva Path's gravitational ability. He once again deploys an omnidirectional repulsive force that pushes both Merlin and the tendrils ten meters backward while dealing significant damage to the Magus.

Description: Using the Deva Paths abilities to manipulate gravitational forces, the user will repulse and push away anything around him up to a given range, in all directions, producing an omni-repulsion effect. The force and repulsive effect is absolute, affecting both energy and matter alike. The technique itself can be used with different ranges/sizes, depending on how much chakra the user spends for the technique and can even, in its smaller form, be sustained, forming a static defensive field instead of a wave-like effect.

Shōkibo - Small Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to short range. The offensive power in this size is not that high as it hits opponents but can still do severe damage. It isn't, however, fatal, boasting a physical 40 damage. If the user focuses this ability with the help of his hands he can sustain a defensive absolute repulsive field around him. He can't, however, do any technique while he is sustaining it and he can only sustain it for 2 turns. Once used, takes one turn cool down to use gravitational related techniques again, becoming when the technique ends.

Chūkibo - Medium Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to mid range. The offensive power in this size is severe, sending opponents flying backwards with enough force to, if not defended properly, leave near fatal physical damage. Although not directly fatal, the technique boasts a physical damage of 80. If the user focuses this ability through one or both hands, he can push away a specific target or technique alone, instead of producing the normal omni-repulsive wave. Once used, takes 2 turns cool down to use gravitational related techniques again.

Ōkibo - Large Scale: the user will push away anything around him up to long range. The offensive power of the technique is devastating and anything in its path that doesn't manage to defend properly is left obliterated. Its fatal if unguarded, boasting a physical damage of 160. Using this techniques poses a great deal of danger to the user as he damages his chakra pathway itself to be able to mold sufficient chakra to perform it. Once used, the user loses the use of any gravitational related techniques for the remainder of the fight and is unable to mold chakra for Rinnegan techniques and S ranks and above for 5 turns.

Note: The technique is immune to normal Elemental Weaknesses and Strengths and as such can't be physically blocked, absorbed or dodged by becoming intangible or similar means. However, the enemies can still use techniques that reduce physical damage to their bodies to survive its effects or escape its range through a fast enough technique. This means that in the large scale, while the technique can't be stopped, avoided or directly countered, enemies can still manage to survive if they are able to reduce the damage done enough.

With the threat dealt with, the entity takes to the skies as originally intended, and Sasuke draws on the power of his Rinnega to empower his Susano'o. Making use of it's sword, it swings it with vigorous force toward Merlin.

A familiar concussive force struck the incubus, grunting in pain as his body's momentum was halted and redirected in one violent instant. Flung away from the Uchiha, Merlin's regenerative abilities would allow him to recover from the damage dealt by the Rinnegan, landing some distance away as the Susano'o rose into the air, morphing into a state even stronger than its previous one. Recognising this, Merlin formed the required seals, slamming his palms to the ground. Pouring a large amount of chakra into the ground, Merlin would carve two large sections of stone from the ground, causing them to rise in front of and behind Sasuke's Susano'o. If left undefended, the Uchiha would find himself crushed inbetween the two large structures, its enhanced strength allowing it to overcome the defences of his chakra colossus even were it to sustain damage from its weaponry. While he still had the chance, Merlin would form a single seal, forming a bolt of Mystic Fire just outside short-range from Sasuke which would descend on him, damaging him greatly on contact.

Description: Those with the cells of Hashirama are able to use the immense regeneration ability to heal injuries afflicted on them in mere moments. Anyone who has these cells in their bodies are able to naturally use this. This allows the user to heal minor injuries such as cuts,gashes, broken fingers or wrist/ankle and other small bruises.

Level 1: Done passively, this allows the user to heal small to moderate injuries. These include things like small cuts to broken digits and bruises as well as bleeding. These involve injuries that result from taijutsu attacks to minor wounds such as stabs in limbs, some broken bones as well as internal bleeding, slight organ tears. This is for none life threatening wounds and heals up to 30 damage

Level 2: Taking the place of a jutsu per turn, the user is able to make use of the healing abilities of Hashirama's cells and apply them at a greater level, employing the cells to heal large injuries, such as shattered bones, ruptured organs, even regeneration of missing limbs. This requires a large amount of chakra, and can only be done up to 3 times a battle. This can only be used once every 2 turns of Wood SM and heals up to 60 ( or A rank ) damage.

Level 3: Deemed the ultimate regeneration at the cost of a jutsu per turn, the user is able to regenerate even the most deadly of injuries, such as a completely blown away chest or fully regrowing his body after bifurcation. After using, the user can only use one other jutsu the same turn. This can only be used a total of 3 times and once every 4 turns. As long as their head is attached/they have consciousness, this jutsu can be used. After using, the user can only use two other jutsu that turn and the next.

Note: Level 1 can only be used by bios with Hashirama DNA and access to Wood Release. Level 2 requires Wood SM to be active and Level 3 can only be utilized by the Juubi Jinchuriki.

This is one the most strongest Earth based techniques, standing as a testament to both this ability's destructive potential and its difficulty. However, because of its size and power, it can only be used a limited amount of times, requires much chakra and can only be used at least mid range from the user.

Description: Black Edge is a supplementary technique aimed to enhance the strength of the user's techniques which are derived from solid and liquid elements, such as Earth and Water Release, and other CE/AE of a similar nature to the aforementioned basic elements. By infusing additional chakra into a chosen technique, in the same timeframe as its creation or anytime it is on the field, the user forcibly produces Osmium within its mass, bolstering its structural integrity by taking advantage of the element's own density. This results in the strength of the targeted technique being increased by an additional rank, or +20 damage for jutsu above S-Rank. Defensive techniques or ones without damage will be capable of defending against one rank higher than usual. For Earth Release techniques and AE/CE of a solid nature, the strengthened jutsu will turn darker, its surface resembling a writhing mass of minerals due to the nature of light reflecting off the element itself, as a result of the infusion. In the case of Water Release and AE/CE of a liquid nature, they will darken to the point of almost resembling oil. Black Edge does not alter the inherent properties of targeted techniques, or their strengths and weaknesses. This technique can be used four times per battle with a one turn cooldown and requires a single handseal upon use.

In the case of the energy being produced from the air they are unable to be created within short-range of the opponent, unless the user is within short-range as well. Energy channeled through the ground is akin to lightning being channeled through the ground, rippling outward from its location created or directed through manipulation by the user. This technique can be concentrated allowing for the energy to take a more solidified state enabling it to punch through physical obstacles. Like its sibling technique Primordial Creation the energy by default adheres to the violet spectrum but can be manipulated to fit any color in the visible spectrum. Alternatively they can seal their light entirely causing them to appear akin to the black energy. Applications above A-Rank require a single hand seal. Sustaining this technique requires the user expend ten chakra per turn. S-Rank can be used four times per battle and cannot be used in consecutive turns.

Large sections of the ground rise to meet the Uchiha in the air in an attempt to crush him, and in response, he uses Susano'o as a medium to launch a multitude of fireballs that crash down into the rock formations and obliterate them the nothingness. Given the strength of his attack, Merlin would also be forced to defend as balls of fire rain down from the sky.

Once he succeeds in destroying the earth technique, he creates a longbow and arrow that is infused with both lightning and Six Path Chakra. With the point of the arrow alone being five meters wide, he lets it tear through the air towards the Magus, creating a sound reminiscent of chirping birds.

His attempt to overpower the Uchiha was met with failure, causing the incubus to grit his teeth in mild exasperation. Even before he could see them, Merlin could sense the masses of chakra through the smoke and debris. Opting to reposition rather than waste energy trying to overpower the fiery assault, Merlin would utilise his enhanced speed to bolt in a wide arc to the left, allowing the fireballs to descend harmlessly on his former location while forming the Ram seal. Mid-range in the air above the Susano'o, ten red torii gates would manifest and descend upon the purple guardian, slamming into it with great speed and forcing it out of the air. The gates would pin it to the ground, immobilising it, and give Merlin the opportunity to place the final seal, forming an additional Ram seal and causing another torii gate to crash down on the Susano'o. With his opponent finally restrained, Merlin kneels to the ground, his exhaustion finally catching up with him. He eyes the prone Uchiha, careful not to make eye contact from sheer force of habit. Beads of sweat trickle down Merlin's face, the incubus having not felt such exertion since the attack on Kur.

Description: Those with the cells of Hashirama are able to use the immense regeneration ability to heal injuries afflicted on them in mere moments. Anyone who has these cells in their bodies are able to naturally use this. This allows the user to heal minor injuries such as cuts,gashes, broken fingers or wrist/ankle and other small bruises.

Level 1: Done passively, this allows the user to heal small to moderate injuries. These include things like small cuts to broken digits and bruises as well as bleeding. These involve injuries that result from taijutsu attacks to minor wounds such as stabs in limbs, some broken bones as well as internal bleeding, slight organ tears. This is for none life threatening wounds and heals up to 30 damage

Level 2: Taking the place of a jutsu per turn, the user is able to make use of the healing abilities of Hashirama's cells and apply them at a greater level, employing the cells to heal large injuries, such as shattered bones, ruptured organs, even regeneration of missing limbs. This requires a large amount of chakra, and can only be done up to 3 times a battle. This can only be used once every 2 turns of Wood SM and heals up to 60 ( or A rank ) damage.

Level 3: Deemed the ultimate regeneration at the cost of a jutsu per turn, the user is able to regenerate even the most deadly of injuries, such as a completely blown away chest or fully regrowing his body after bifurcation. After using, the user can only use one other jutsu the same turn. This can only be used a total of 3 times and once every 4 turns. As long as their head is attached/they have consciousness, this jutsu can be used. After using, the user can only use two other jutsu that turn and the next.

Note: Level 1 can only be used by bios with Hashirama DNA and access to Wood Release. Level 2 requires Wood SM to be active and Level 3 can only be utilized by the Juubi Jinchuriki.

Description:
An amazing sealing technique which is used by Senju Hashirama while in Sage Mode and has so far been seen as the only technique able to contain even the Jubi. After making the Ram seal, the user manifests a select number of red wooden torii gates that fall down from above (manifested mid air above the target), in order to pin an intended target between the gate and the ground. These torii are quite versatile and can be used in several different ways (like pilling them one above the other to increase their sealing strength). Their size is always proportionate to the target and once beneath it, the target becomes unable to mold chakra while having it slowly drained. The torii form instantly and fall down at amazing speed, making it almost impossible for the target to escape it. Two main uses have been seen so far, each with a specific use but with complementary uses:

Ten Seals (封十, Fūtō): Creates up to ten torii that can be used to pin several individual targets simultaneously or on top of each other in a single target. The targets become unable to mold chakra A-rank and above and get their chakra drained slowly (50 chakra points per turn) while beneath the seals. Beneath the seals, the target cannot move. The seals can be placed strategically to completely pin the target down, like in the case of a fully transformed jinchuriki, pinning each tail and each limb to the ground.

Head Seal (封頭, Fūtō): Creates a single, large torii, intended to pin the target's neck beneath it, so as to immobilise their head and finalize the seal. This last seal can only be placed after the user has successfully placed the Ten Seals and doing an additional Ram hand seal. Once placed, the target will not only be fully unable to mold chakra but will also get his chakra drained in 100 additional points per turn.

Note: Can only be used by Senju Hashirama bios while in Sage Mode
Note: The seal is specially effective in Jinchuriikis and Bijuus which, upon having been pinned under the 10 seals in any of their transformations or modes, will be rendered unable to mold chakra for any technique.

The incubus makes use of his enhanced speed to maneuver around the fireballs and conjures a number of number of red wooden torii gates that fall down from above with the intention of pinning him to the earth. Instead of destroying them, Sasuke waites for the perfect moment. Just when they're about to make contact with his Susano'o he instantly shifts his position with Merlin, causing the man to fall prey to his own attack and be pinned to the floor.

Description: With his left eye, Sasuke instantly shifts the location of himself, others, objects, and ninjutsu within a certain range. Due to its speed, this technique has proven to be especially useful for launching surprise attacks against enemies. In addition, it has the psychological effect of throwing opponents off guard by confusing them when the user runs their technique into an empty space. This technique not only switches the position, but the momentum and direction of the switched targets as well.

Short Range - The user is able to shift the location of himself anywhere within short range, instantly appearing in the new location. He can also use this ability to instantly switch positions with anything within short range of himself.

Mid Range - After spending 40 more chakra, the user is able to change his position and reappear anywhere within mid range of his original location. By targeting specific objects, the user can switch places with it instantly. The user can use this to shift his location up to 2 landmarks away if he is not in battle.

Long Range - Spending an incredulous 140 chakra, the user is able to shift his location and appear anywhere within long range, be it three landmarks away or entire countries away should he not be in battle. He is also able to switch positions with any object within long range in battle.

Note: Can be used up to 5 times, once every 3 turns.

Description: One of the basic techniques awoken with MS, Amaterasu is the ability to ignite the undying black flames. The jet-black flames of the Amaterasu, said to be the fires from hell that are as hot as the sun, ignite at the focus of the user's vision. This depiction is somewhat linked to the fact that, because of the damage produced in ones eyes, as the user closes his eyes and prepares to use Amaterasu, tears of blood flow through his face. The black flames lack momentum and impact (being unable to break through strong solid inert defenses) but have a very high parasitic ability, spreading through anything that comes in contact with them and consuming with enormous ease, any type of fire. Though the flames have been stated to be unavoidable (since they are not a projectile but "happen" on focal point), this has been proven as false. While quite hard to avoid, its been proven that ninjas capable of moving at least 50 Speed can move out of the focal point before the flames actually ignite. While they burn for an incredibly long time, these flames cannot be doused nor extinguished by Water, burning it within a turn regardless of size or power. While these flames are hard to avoid, they spread and burn through the target slowly, spreading at the speed of a Forbidden Fire Ranked Jutsu. Also, its been noticed that Chakra sensors can sense the increase in chakra pressure in the eye, right before Amaterasu is used, but that in itself is not enough to dodge or block it. Another thing that has been shown capable of blocking Amaterasu are "sentient" automated defenses, like Gaara's Shield of Sand. By coming between the user and his target, a fast enough defense can block the intended focal point (the enemy) and defend him from the black flames, as long as its tangible and completely blocks the users line of sight.

Once again Merlin found himself in the place of his opponent, staring down on the purple construct from the air. Having been victim of this ability once before, and with his sensory, he knew that the torii gates were poised to fall upon him, and he had to react quickly. Raising both his arms, pointing his left towards the Uchiha and his Susano'o, and the other into the air above him, Merlin unleashes the two other great wooden hands merged with his body. From his right arm, one wooden hand would be launched into the sky to destroy the descending Ten Seals, and from his left, the other wooden arm would fly forth towards Sasuke. The hand, if not intercepted, would smash through the Susano'o and deal grievous damage to the Uchiha. Then, forming the Ox → Horse → Boar → Snake seals, a wooden giant would emerge from the ground, empowered by Sage Mode and the Factor of the Dragon. With Merlin stood atop its head, the giant would sprint towards Sasuke, delivering a powerful punch to the prone Uchiha and finally defeating him after intense struggle.

Description: Incubus’ Guile is a supplementary ability, activated passively, that affords the user even greater control of their Wood Release. By infusing a Wood technique with 10 additional chakra points, that technique is granted the ability to merge with other Wood Release structures, including the user themselves, where they can be stored away and used later in battle, or allow other Wood Release techniques to be merged into them. At the user’s behest, without costing a move slot but taking a place in the timeframe, techniques can be released in any manner they choose. Techniques with a duration will last for as long as the technique they are merged with, and in the case of both techniques having a duration, each will last as long as the technique with the greater duration. This technique can be used four times per battle, once per turn.

Description: After forming the required hand seals, the user creates an enormous statue-like creature out of wood. This humanoid creature with a full body and an oni-like face is used in battle as an avatar. This creature is stated to be as powerful as a Tailed Beast and can catch an Incomplete Tailed Beast Ball fired by the latter. If the user doesn't have enough time to manifest the entire body, they can manifest a limb or two first to buy enough time for the full body to form. Being a very resilient Wood jutsu, this technique can reduce up to 60 damage and has a health pool of 100 while moving at speeds comparable to an Apex Speed Sage Ranked Specialist. The guardian can also be combined with the Wood Dragon technique. In this case, the Dragon will coil around the guardian increasing its defensive shaving properties by 20 as well as it's health. Like all Wood Techniques, the guardian is very resilient against Bijuu techniques but the guardian adds a new dimension by being able to manipulate, to some extent, Biju chakra. This technique is capable of directly interacting with powerful Bijuu techniques and dispersing them at the cost of a move per turn, dissipating up to 140 damage Bijuu Techniques. It also can be utilized to effect the Jinchuriki directly. By touching a Jinchuriki directly, the user can cause the Bijuu's active transformations to disperse. If the Jinchuriki is in Chakra Shroud, the user will strip the chakra from their body and they will be unable to access Bijuu chakra and techniques for 4 turns. If the target is in Incomplete State, the user is capable of suppressing the transformation and revert the state as well as prevent usage for 4 turns. If the Bijuu is fully transformed, the user must make contact with the Bijuu before the transformation is reverted and the target is left unable to utilize his Bijuu or Bijuu chakra for 4 turns.

Description: Factor of the Dragon is a supplementary ability applied to Wood Release techniques, either in the same timeframe as their creation or anytime they are on the field. Principally, it is similar to how the Wood Dragon technique is used to augment the Wood Human technique, but it can be applied to any of the user’s Wood Release jutsu. When applied to a technique, Factor of the Dragon reinforces it by growing additional wood through the infusion of an additional 10 chakra points, strengthening it by +1 Rank, or +20 damage for techniques above S-Rank. Cosmetically, the technique will darken in appearance, the bark changing in shape to resemble scales. In the case of Wood Release techniques which burrow into the ground, or occur from within the ground, techniques which alter the terrain such as Great Moving Earth Core will be unable to take effect, due to the structures of Wood Release holding them in place. This can be overcome if the terrain-altering technique in question possesses higher chakra to the Wood technique it's is faced against. Factor of the Dragon can be used up to four times per battle.

"Merlin," It was a soft but feminine voice that manifested from behind the Incubus. The voice belonged to a woman with sharp features, long auburn hair, and a thin black dress. It was Amara, Galahad's sister. Do you remember me?" She asked, slowly taking steps around the battle-worn magus.

Exhaustion washed over Merlin like a tidal wave, the magus struggling to stay on his feet as his wooden giant slowly sunk to the ground, the chakra maintaining its form ebbing with every moment. As soon as he touched the earth, he dropped to his knees, beads of sweat rolling down Merlin's face. Through his sensory he could feel the Uchiha's chakra, and he could tell the body it belonged to wasn't moving. Wiping his forehead with his arm, he attempted to steady his breath, calming his body in the wake of the struggle against the Uchiha.

A female voice addressed him, echoing his meeting with Artoria in the Port of Innovus. He didn't recognise it at first, his mind unfocused due to the fatigue of battle, but it did not take long for a name to emerge from the deepest recesses of memory. The daughter of Galahad and the once leader of the Fallen Surgebinders, Amara. "Yes." As she circled around in front of Merlin, he looked up to her, his eyes narrowed in caution. "I remember you." Unlike the unconscious Uchiha, who had by now faded away, Merlin couldn't feel any chakra emanating from Amara. The same as Artoria. "What brings you to me after centuries of isolation?" he asked, too tired to avoid being direct.

But the manifestation was not some spectacular shimmering event where one materialized out of nothingness. Instead, Artoria simply appeared in the blink of an eye. "Because we are here to deliver a message, Merlin."

"It laid its secrets in you, Merlin; the cosmos." She took a step closer, brushing her hand against Merlin's shoulder. The seeds pitting his skin reacted, sending a sharp pain up his spine.

"He's in pain," Artoria observed, a slightly darker personality emerged than the hurt girl from the Port of Innovus. "By now you can surmise what similarities we shared with the specter you battled, yes?" A hint of disdain tainted her delicate voice.
Merlin's reaction to Artoria's sudden appearance was tame in comparison to when they first met at the Port of Innovus. Even still, Merlin's breath caught in his throat, his gaze quickly darting from the image of Amara to the figure of Artoria. Her voice was stern, not dissimilar to when she was addressing her fellow Knights of Round during their many meetings, and paired with the blunt observation of Merlin's condition, it was of little comfort to the incubus. Not that he expected any from this twisted reunion. He could only feel needles running through vertebrae in this moment, provoking a pained gasp "Gah!"

Clutching his shoulder with his right arm, Merlin answered in winces "Spirits... given form. Merely an illusion of flesh and blood. You... are not real." He addressed both women, hoping in vain that they would disappear in that moment, as if to wish them away. His brows were furrowed in a mixture of pain and anger, at his current condition and the images of people he once knew. Their very presence taunted him. About days long gone. Lives long lost.
