A plot hole is made when 2 things contradict each other. An example of what would be a plot hole, would be if say the third hokage said "minato the 4th hokage is narutos dad" then later said" minato the 4th hokage is not narutos dad"

Its like saying "north on my compass points to the north pole" then saying "north on my compass points to the south pole"

It cant point to both, because i only have one north on my compass, and it cannot change, due to physics of how it works. Thus it becomes a paradox, and "breaks" the physics(as it is impossible to be both, or to change)

It is when a direct contradiction in the manga creates a hole in the plot. Why danzo didnt use ka daily, does not contradict anything in the plot. Naruto doesnt have that many plot holes(ie contradictiary things) it has many things that are not explained, but few things that contradict each other.

What you have stated is a paradox. Not a plot hole. A paradox is a much stronger contradiction. A plot hole could be something that simply wouldn't make sense with real world logic. No strategist would squander like Danzo did. It doesn't make sense using real world logic, but it could happen with extremely low chance.

Example:
Itachi losing a fight to the death while completely forgetting to activate his Sharingan isn't a paradox. However, it would qualify as a plot hole since Itachi would never do something so stupid.

Well, why didn't Danzo show up to take over when Hiruzen died? That's a better question to me.

Also, during the invasion of Konoha Danzo decided not to help. So he was okay with becoming a Hokage of ruins apparently I know he believed Tsunade would save people but what if she failed? Later during the Summit Danzo controlled Mifune because he had doubts that he'd pick him as an alliance leader. Mifune basically said, "I probably would have picked you anyway", to which Danzo said "Probably is not good enough". However, he did have enough faith in Tsunade's skills to save villagers? TBH there is a number of contradictions about Danzo's character. Heck, he spoke about self-sacrifice but instead sacrificed others. yeah he did try to seal Tobi and Sasuke but he was already dying at that point.

That was the point of Danzo's character,he was distrustful and a coward,thats why he didnt manage to become what he thought was the definition of a perfect Shinobi.

Yes, I was saying that in response to the OP, Danzo contradicts himself so it's no wonder you can't always apply logic to him and his actions.

There's something called plot shield. Kishimoto wanted to write the story in a different way, hence he did. He planned out everything from the start.
