it really is kinda easy if you think about it . danzo and all of konoha no the rennigan abilities . danzo has izanagi, so as soon as deva path uses one of his abilities itll take time to recover, and danzo will exploit it .

Not really sure Danzo know Rinnengans abilities cuz he was not even participating in the fight against Pain, and knowing how Tsunade or Kakashi doesn't like him, i doubt they have discuss of something like that later.
For Izanagi, you say he will exploit the weakness of 5seconds, but what will he do? He has not shown a jutsu powerful enough to handle Deva and Deva is not just Shinra tensei.

Really once Danzo figures out the 5 second rule (and he has time to do so with Izanagi), he could easily exploit it. Danzo has a lot of Futons to use to keep the Deva Path guessing. Plus he could surprise the Deva path with the first death.
