Okay!! IMO there are only three uchihas that danzo could be. Madara himself, which is widely argued. Madara's brother, who has been shown as dead, but madara never stated it plainly that he was. OR, Uchiha Fugaku. He was Sasuke and Itachi's father. If he was Danzo he could have easily faked his own death.
Obito is completely out of the question even though danzo's right half is eff'ed up. Obito is Kakashi's age and Danzo was familiar with madara. (Meaning that Danzo is as old as the dirt he sleeps in). The only way he could be fugaku is if fugaku was in a disguise. Outside of that, danzo aquired the sharingan in the same manner that kakashi did. but from whom???

IF Tobi and Danzo are not the same person then they are definitely kahooting. Danzo is not suprised by madara's movements nor is madara by danzo's. Kakashi told Sai to update danzo on the Madara situation, when he did so, Danzo passed it off as "an update". (he already knew) that suggests that danzo is madara or danzo is in league with madara.
I think once Kishi makes all of this information available, we'll all be kicking ourselves because its so simple. (whoever is right has maaaaassive bragging rights... I hope it's me :S)

no i doubt this, they probably just know of eachothers existance,
they have opposing goals
and, they both work in the shadows, danzou could have easily known about madaras movements and guessed it was madara but he now knows for sure, madara knows pretty much everything because of zetsu- the ultimate spy
besides that, wouldnt danzou, the man who trains everybody to be emotionless, be somewhat emotionless himsel?

Okay, now look at this:
Look at Tobi''s eyebrow, and look at Danzou open eyebrow.
They look almost identicle.
ALSO, tobi has wrinkles un his eye!! which, ibviously, danzo does too!
i kno that appereance may not be significant at this point, but there still is a chance.
I am not completly sure, but this could be more prof to the theory of tobi being danzo.

Iread your post on page 4 but the thing i don't get is, Why would he kill all the uchiah he was the leader of the uchiahs and the main guy in the uprising he wanted the uchiahs to rule the village so why would he let itachi kill all of the clan member that doesn't make sense.
this is out-of-this-world theory, I think Danzo is not related to the Uchiha clan but he is just envy because of the eye. At that time, Uchiha clan is one of the fearsome and powerful clan in Konoha and takes advantage of the sharingan. For instance, a boy, of an Uchiha lineage, knows to activate his sharingan eye can easily outclass his fellow classmates in Konoha Academy for he can copy some moves and jutsus from other people. Isn't it exciting to have it? In my opinion, even other shinobi families are envy on that and others wants to marry an Uchiha clan to be part of it.first off..... THANKS FOR THE STICKY
now my theorie is this:
Danzou is Uchiha Fugaku (Sasuke and Itachi's Father)
That one of the two identities is fake (more than likely the Danzou identity)
He did this to ensure his survival and success
He helped start the uprising
but,
when konoha found out...
he sent Itachi to kill them all
then
he faked his death during the massacre
during which,
his right eye (left from our perspective) got damaged during the massacre
permanently sticking it in the sharingan state
or
making it look ugly so he has to hide it when it isnt sharingan

This is one of the questions should Kishi tells us(naruto fans). What are the "reliable" reasons to the massacre; Madara's story to Sasuke about the history of Uchiha-if this is tru- someone has to tell in the manga(a third person); and true purpose of Danzo's plans.
i dont think that danzo is madra.. but i think that danzo and madra are working together on all of this...i think they are trying to redo everything bycollecting the tailed beasts.. so all of the 5 nations so they wont have a secret weapon for the up coming war so they both can take over... i mean that what they both want to be in charge and rule over everyone...
common goal... just like sasuke is wrking with madra. he doesnt trust madra completly but useing each other makes things alot easier then doing it all by themself... i mean it just makes some sense. i mean madra can b using danzo but i starting to think danzo has true power since he has the sarigan< i probly misspelled that> he has 2 b able to hold his own...and now with danzo putting his name in to be in charge of the 5 nation alliance.. he is one step closer....
the problem is both of them have different methods of gaining power, danzou is the overlord type who coordinates various thing for future benefit while tobi uses a direct/inderect approach, by using underlings in a straightforward assault
yea.. danzo can be calling the shot and tobi/madra is taking the heat for being the ring leader.. in the meeting danzo says madra is still alive and in charge but evryone thought madra was dead... u are right about the differant appoarches by the 2 but are differant... maybe danzo hired the akatski to take all the tailed beast so the other nations.. cuz i may be mistaken but i beleive itachi told kisame that the leader wants the nine tailed beast last leaving the leaf village with the last weapon of war...

yes i agree...danzo cant turn off his sharingan...just like kakashi...thats why it was covered for so long...it looks like orochimaru transplanted that eye from and uchiha...and danzo is like a war guy, showing why his eye is so damaged...from fights maybe...thats just how i feel
