i can agree that he was a well-written character, but that's as far as it goes. However, i will never be a subscriber to the idea that his actions and ideals were out of love for Konoha because of the lengths to which he has gone to mask his jealousy of Hiruzen.

Shisui was a massive threat.
--Shisui, the user of the greatest mind control Genjutsu, has a meeting with Fugaku
--After the meeting, Fugaku decides the coup should not continue
And the Uchiha wouldn't think anything of it?
Shisui's plan would be a good one if the Uchiha were all mentally disabled 3 year olds. But they weren't. Shisui would have ****ed eeeverything up.
