He manipulated a vulnerable Itachi into killing the Uchiha by using Sasuke as blackmail.

He caused Nagato to go crazy by framing Nagato's group and manipulating Hanzo.

Threatened an orphanage.

Betrayed his long time comrade, Hiruzen, by trying to have him assainated.

Ordered Orochimaru to conduct experiments on little children.

He didn't lift a finger while hundreds of Konoha Shinobi were being killed by Pain.

Thats the reason Team Gai was away when Pain came and Danzo did not fight Because he would have solo'd Pain and Gai would have also. Its all plot man. Plus you cannot call Danzo evil, he is the least evil of most characters. Everything he did was to protect his village and its people 100%. He wanted to leave no room for error and doubt so he made sure the village got protected his way remember: If you want something done right you have to do it yourself. His love for the village was greater than anyone's, so much that he created an entire new branch of government(Root) run directly by him to do the dirty work that needed to be done so that the village would prosper. Everyone needs someone like that and Danzo did the job perfectly.

Danzo was probably the most evil man in the manga-as he claimed to be a good guy who wanted to "protect the village" Thus he was a massive hypocrite. At least obito and madara know that they chose the dark path...........

No, he's just an antivillain. A villain with good intentions. He always wanted to protect Konoha, the bad thing is that he only wanted it to be done his way. Oro, Kakazu, Hidan, etc are more evil than Danzo.

You did exagerrate some things...

1. No. He was just insanely paranoid and didn't know if he could trust Shisui. (Which was pretty stupid in retrospect, considering that Shisui was quite trustworthy and had gone on numerous missions for Hiruzen before).

2. Itachi was never manipulated. The Uchiha clan dying at that point was inevitable and Danzo was actually being straight with Itachi right there. Negotiations failed. The Uchiha would not win the coup w/o Shisui and Itachi helping them. Whether Danzo ordered it or not, the Root, Anbu and other clans would join in for the resulting conflict and a civil war would start, and all the Uchiha would be eliminated. Then Konoha would be invaded due to being weakened and another shinobi war would start. At this point, the Uchiha clan was going out either way. Itachi had two choices, he had options. The problem is that both options sucked and there was no way to save the clan.

The real problem here is back at option 1. The fact that Danzo stopped the last thing that could have prevented the Uchiha from dying, the KA shot.

4. Yeah, he did so that Nono would do what he said. That was pretty harsh though.

5. Once again, filler. That's not canon. That and considering that Hiruzen kept him in office and just brushed if off in that ep, it looks even worse on his part.

Danzo was beast, man. He's one of the few characters I've actually shed tears for; his death was sad. Sure, Danzo messed up a lot; and sure, he didn't trust Uchiha. But remember, Tobirama was his sensei. He seemed to be on pretty decent terms with Kagami though. And his whole 'taking Shisui's eye' thing was because he didn't trust Shisui to have Kotoamatsukami when it could be used on him.

Because in the manga it states that he stopped Shisui because he thought that he couldn't trust him.

Danzo is a bad guy, but you are slightly exagerrating.
