Because, the village elders know as much as Danzou. And guess what? They are still alive and Sasuke doesn't need Oro for crud. Besides, i already pointed out. Danzou's sealed and there's no remnants of his DNA. So yes, Danzou is not a sensible choice here.

As head of ROOT, Danzo knew a plethora of things that the village elders wouldn't have. Additionally, Danzo's soul wasn't sealed. That's not how the Reverse Four Symbols Sealing Technique works:

perhaps I missed something, but when was his DNA sealed? Did Tobi do it? What I remember was that he tried to steal himself, but his body was left behind, and Tobi cursed at his corpse because he destroyed Suishi's eye.

There are a lot of good possibilities to who Sasuke wants to go see. The one comment made on another post that is key is the one made by siugestu when he found the scroll. It will change the course of the war. Can danzo do that? I originally thought it was his parents. But then again we are all assuming that there are names of people on the scroll. It could be completely unrelated and not introduced by Kishi yet.

Oro's labs got crushed and ruined a long while ago. So even if he had the DNA, not anymore. Oro din't have the chance to take care of his stuff.

I din't mean his soul was sealed, i meant his body was sealed and trapped inside. But i forgot that Tobi took his body away and worked on it, so i guess his DNA could still be found. But then again, that stuff is with Tobi. Besides, the village elders knew well about Root, you'd always seen Danzo with that bunch. Even if they din't know much extra information, stuff that was related to the Uchiha, they would know as much as Danzou.

Yea, you're right. He wasn't sealed. My bad for forgetting about that. I don't think it was the parents, frankly. Neither do i think it's Danzou. If i had to take a wild shot in the dark, i'd presume it was something completely unrelated, like you said. Awakening the rinnegan, or possibly doing something immense with Yamato's cells and bring back the first or something like that. We have not seen any of Yamato and Oro did say they're going to a place Sasuke remembers.

Because Sasuke and Danzo already met and talked about the Uchiha incident. Bringing him back just to ask a few more questions would be terrible storywriting and Kishi is just not going to do it, sorry.

I approve of this theory, it would be relevant because of Danzo's inclusion in the final itachi flashbacks very recently.
