depending on your location, youd use it aimed at your target and going through a source of fire such as a torch to send fire at your target, ermm i suppose you could use it to re-direct an opponents fire jutsu away from yourself...ermm thats all i can think of

ermm, combine it with wind, make it stronger.
you would prbably use this on a trapped opponent, because seemingly it can only travel in a straight line, which is what you see in the anime, ermmmm... thats all i cant think of :L
