All of you guys don't understand Dan's technique. His body becomes a ghost, he doesn't leave his body.
Remember watching Danny Phantom when you were a kid? His ability is much like when Danny Phantom went ghost mode.

Yeah this isn't nickelodeon. If he could really do those things he could have just controlled Edo madara. His technique is featless.
