wuuut. madara showed up day two after the edos, zetsu chakra clones and army killed 40,000. i wonder how many are left on both sides?
he stood around during juubito and played with hashi.

Essentially Obito killed like 20, 000 (Kabuto probably killed at least half the casualties with his Edos). Madara wiped out at least 10, 000 fodders, as well as the 5 Kage, 9 Bijus, Gai and Sasuke, they are not even comparable.

You know what happened the first time Obito used Madara's name?

There is power in Madara's name, but you need to walk the walk if you're doing all the talking.

Without Kabuto's intervention, Obito would have been dead ages ago.

All Kabuto did was bring back the guy who would make it harder, and temporarily distract the alliance. The Zetsu's where going fine with the transformation, and would have soloed if not for naruto.

Whether he said he was from a rinnegan organisation or not doesn't change the fact that he introduced himself as Madara right before saying that. Naruto didn't go around saying he is Jiraiya, that's the difference.

Nagato and "Madara's" plans were entirely different. Obviously Nagato didn't care what the masked man called himself, it was his philosophy and his power that kept him in line. A bit more than a name, right?

You're right in saying that Nagato didn't care what the masked man said, since Nagato was implied to have known that Tobi wasn't Madara. Remember that right after Nagato's death Tobi said he had been betrayed and that Nagato was supposed to use rinnei tensei for his sake. Which means that Nagato knew he would have to use rinnei tensei to ressurrect Madara. Also, when Madara arrived on the battlefield, Obito said that Nagato had betrayed them, which means that Nagato knew about the plan and was part of it, even though I guess he intended to betray them and was looking for a way out the whole time, and eventually found that way out when he met Naruto.
