Dainashi

A shard of the moon has opened a massive crater above the once subterranean city.
While the city still stands, the novelty has been laid bare to the world above.

This post marks the beginning of 's introduction into the WSE. I'll be using a few low level storyboard elements for this introduction! I'll also be using this as clan mission to introduce the Death Eaters clan to the WSE also. So please enjoy.

Synopsis: Gwendolyn is the first to arrive to the Dainashi mountain range, waiting on her clansmen Rikku to make his way to the area. Gwen takes it upon herself to see why he picked the area to be their HQ and takes this as a chance to spread her influence among the human population.

Explore a landmark. (1)
Trail an individual without being detected (2)
Lend a helping hand in one of your landmarks (1)
Show the people of your landmark the merits of your Clan (2)
Build something for the Clan (1)
Set up a secure camp (2)

"Where in the hell are you, Rikku?" Gwen would say as she flew over the mountains on a peculiar looking bird. Gwendolyn was supposed to meet her clansmen in this god forsaken mountainous region. It seems he was going to be bit late showing up. "Men", she thought as she realized this wasn't the first time she had been stood up by someone of the opposite ***.

Gwen had only been on this planet a short time, but had acquired a lot of knowledge in regards to the humans and their way of life in preparation for reaching her goal. She had gained various skills and abilities she would not have gained if not coming to the planet. Now she had only one goal in mind. She would obtain the Tenseigan by any means necessary in order to eradicate all those deemed unnecessary within it. Nothing would please her more then seeing these vermin drowning in their own filthy blood. With the blood new blood soaked land, she would forge a new God Tree and ascend to the throne that could only be held by someone as powerful as the clan's matriarch Kaguya. But, before that could happen Gwen had a long road ahead of her. If she was to realize her dream and revive the Otsutsuki Clan, she would have to expand her influence. It was her partner's idea to rendezvous here in the Lightning Mountains, he had given her intel of a city by the name of Dainashi hidden in the mountains. If anything, these rats were a resourceful bunch. It was only once Gwen searched the area with her Byakugan could she find the single entrance to a large cave system. Even then it still took her a bit of time to find it just considering the sheer size of the area. Once Gwen finally arrived at the at the entrance was her bird landed. Mechanisms of the wings revealed the animal to be nothing more than a puppet that Gwen was controlling. The puppet disappeared as Gwen stood before the large entrance gazing at it unsurely. Her Byakugan could see the vast tunnel which led to a large underground city.

Just a few meters deep it seemed a group of people were venturing deeper into the cave. "So much for abandoned..." Gwen would say as she would maintaining her distance. Using her Byakugan to observe the bunch, she trailed them silently. Gwen was still getting used to the idea of "Ninjutsu", Otsutsuki's were always used to being able to manipulate their energies to complete amazing feats. However humans, had refined it and made it into something vastly unique. She thought this would be a good time to brush up on the fundamentals. Masking her presence and sticking to the shadows, she would be a natural at making use of (Bikoku Ninjutsu) - Shadow Stealth Technique. It wasn't long before the group arrived in a large underground city, it was truly amazing and beautiful. Perfect in fact to Gwen's standards. Gwen remained hidden waiting for the right moment to reveal herself and show that she was now taking control of this area and claiming the landmark in the name of her clan. By now, Gwen was close enough to hear what was going on as another group of people were revealed to Gwen's Byakugan. she noticed they had much higher levels of chakra then the people she had been following.

"Please! We've done everything we can to make this month's payment! My grandfather has been working so hard to make end's meet he's gotten horribly ill and we barely have enough money for his medication!" A young man said frantically.

"Well that seems to be a personal problem don't it!? We told you people fair and square when you got her if you wanna mine this city, you gotta pay us a weekly fee! We laid down the rules and told ya, you work for us now. You don't have any say so, and if you dare run away then we'll do some not so pretty things to that little gal of yours. We even shook on it remember boy!" The man who was obviously the leader said this all the while cackling hysterically. He grabbed the old man and threw him to the floor. The old man let out a feeble groan. Gwen thought the man would probably be better off dead anyways, but when she heard that money was involved, she was sure her partner would love the fact she took the initiative and began to generate a meaningful cash flow. She'd keep these rats alive just long enough to further her own ends.

"Well I've seen enough", Gwen said while stepping out from behind a wall. "I'm gonna let you all in on a little secret, My name's Gwen, and this entire area is now under my control. If any of you have a problem, step forward now."

"Who the hell is this b*@%h!?!", the man would say as he was taken a back by Gwen's striking appearance. "You know what, I don't really care who you are! But for you to find your way in here, you obviously don't know who you're dealing with! Kill her men!"

Soon multiple people begin to surround Gwen from all sides, attempting to take her down but in one fell movement she would use her extraordinary power to produce upward spinning kick that whipped the winds up around her due to her sheer strength. Everyone who was attacking was thrown backwards before a large dragon of cutting wind had viciously ravaged all who opposed her. The leader was shocked and in total disbelief, dropping to his knees in fealty to Gwen.

"My Queen! Please spare me! I am not worthy! Please! I will do anything for you just let me live."

Feeling merciful, because this vermin had saw the error of his ways, she would spare him and those under him as long as they swore loyalty to her. They knew right away who was in charge, and under Gwen's command, she would have them build the clan's HQ in the inner sanctum of the underground city. It would only be a matter of time before her companion would arrive, she needed to get everything in order. The miners were especially grateful, as they had lived in fear of the rouge ninja that inhabited the area. However their research and quest for treasure kept them coming back. Gwen would soon find this information to be quite valuable, but that was a story for another time.

This will be a multi-part scenario, with multiple missions starting with a this post.

Synopsis: Gwen's become bored with waiting for her clan to show up and has decided to acquire money and spread her influence among the human population. She becomes tasked with helping a trader who fell on hard times and decides to use the money from the wares to help further her own goals.

  • Collect taxes from those who reside in your landmarks (1)
  • Do a bad deed. (1)
  • Help a local trader by transporting his wares. (2)
  • Put the Clan’s interests first. (2)
Rank: D

Clan Storyboard Mission: Money Making Moves

Gwen had spent days cooped up in the abandoned city of Dainashi. She didn't realize it was going to take this long for her clansmen to arriv.So far she spent her days, learning more about human culture from the weak willed humans who had turned into her own slaves. Gwen had proved she wasn't tolerant of any defiance, and as such the vermin had sworn full loyalty to her. As the days passed, her pawns continued to inform her of news and events of the going on in the world she found herself now apart of. Gwen realized if she was going to make it in this world, she needed a source of income. There was no way her influence would expand if the human concept of money wasn't involved. Gwen sat in a newly renovated office they humans had been so kind ( or rather forced) to make for her. With this thought in mind, she rung a bell as she summoned her most loyal dog to her office.

"You rang milady?", A man said as he opened the door. The man from just a few days ago, who was top dog of this place was now Gwen's most loyal dog. She didn't care to learn his name, simply referring to him as dog or cur whenever she deemed fit to adress him directly. Gwen kept him alive for the simple fact, someone would need to do her dirty work for her.

"Tell everyone who resides in this city, that if they want to live a long and fruitful life they must pay tribute to me. I don't want to have to make an example out of anyone." Gwen said matter-of-factly.

"I understand, your will shall be done my queen." The man shut the door off to complete the task he was given or else risk being killed himself.

A couple hours later Gwen's had returned to the city square where everyone was supposed to bring their tribute to her. One by one, the townspeople came before her offering money, food, jewels and everything in between. Gwen only disatisfaction came when a local trader came to Gwen seeking help. He grovled and begged for Gwen to please give him time to seel his wares so he could pay the tribute. But suddenly an evil idea popped into Gwen's mind. Agreeing to help the man, she would become tasked with helping transport his cargo of artifcats he had scavenged from the abandoned homes that were still housing some valubales.

Gwen knew this was the perfect chance to get out and see more of the world she planned to conqueor in her name. She would quickly prepare the things she needed and with the trader they would leave on an excursion towards to the next mountain town. The trip was sure to take a couple of days so she was sure to leave a note for if Rikku came looking for her.

-Leaving Landmark.

Sorry to keep you guys waiting! Here's the next mission in my multi part scenario.

Synopsis: Gwen returns to Dainaishi after her meeting with the mysterious Kogu. She returns to find a small box with a letter inside addressed to her. The letter inside has the instructions from Kogu asking her to find a certain artifact for him.

Storyboard Elements:

Explore a landmark. (1)
Run an errand for someone. (1)
Custom Storyboard: Use a artifact* (1)

*Requires a previously obtained artifact.

Rank: D

Storyboard Mission: Into the City.

Gwen let out a huge yawn as she walked into her home, she had taken up residence in a beautifully crafted building that gave her a near perfect view of the once abandoned mountain town. They people here had become her subjects and the area, once abandoned, was once once again slowly becoming alive. Gwen would have to return to her leadership duties eventually, but the previous day of travel was finally taking its toll on her body. Gwen's home had been lavishly decorated, and as she entered she couldn't miss a black box that was placed on a table. by Kogu.

"Kogu..." Gwen thought upon seeing the box. She grabbed and opened the top revealing a letter that she began to read through. The letter was addressed from Kogu, and as Gwen read through it seems she was being tasked with recovering an item the trader she had killed was given but had conveniently not returned along with the other wares. The item was described as container of medicinal salve for burn and cuts. Was this really what she was being made to find? It seems Kogu was truly underestimating her. Gwen swore the next time she saw him, she would be sure to get answers. After she was done reading, she then crumbled up the note and tossed it. Beneath the letter was a key, obviously for the man's home, she decided it would be best to play along with his game and after a quick meal she left in search of the trader's home.

This was the first time she had actually seen the city for the craftsmanship it was, the buildings had been intricately cut out of the rock and then large lines were carved into the building making intricate designs that seemed to go on forever. It was truly a feat Gwen marveled at as she used her Byakugan to take in as much of the surroundings as possible all at once. Night had befallen the city, and large torches were lit to give the city a light source in the darkness. She made her way through the buildings and took various turns throughout the city. "How long had this city been abandoned and why..?"Gwen thought. Gwen had almost missed the home, as her Byakugan revealed to her the vast network of tunnels that produced various exits and entrances to the town. Entering, she found the place had already been ransacked like someone had been here and was violently searching for something. Papers were everywhere, furniture was thrown around or completely destroyed. Obviously some sort of altercation happened inside the building, and as Gwen walked through the home she could see the structure could collapse at any moment.

Using her Byakugan, she wanted to quickly search the home or risk being buried alive under the rubble of the building. Luckily, buried beneath a pile of debris Gwen could clearly see a cache of supplies that had obviously been missed or forgotten by whomever was here previously. Gwen carefully cleared the debris and beneath was a small trap door that was hidden behind a fake panel. Opening it, Gwen saw various assortments of items inside along with a small wooden container. Opening it, revealed a teal paste that Gwen touched and it soon provided a warm soothing sensation. Surely this had to be the item that Kogu mentioned. Gwen placed it in her bag, and it was like the shift in her weight set off a chain reaction. The building began to collapse, and without much thought, Gwen quickly jumped out of the window moments before the building was nothing more than a pile of rubble.

Having successfully recovered the artifact, Gwen noticed she had scraped her arm in the commotion. She took it out, wanting to test the effects for herself, and she was immediately satisfied as the pain went away. Replacing it, she returned home to find Riku waiting for her outside.

Artifact used:
Chīsai Iyakuhin Nankō) – Lesser Medicinal Salve
Type: Artifact
Rank: C
Range: N/A (Contact)
Chakra: N/A

The wind howling, the breeze chilled as the snow falls. Riku would be wrapped in a large fur pelt. The weather, two cold for his liking. He would enter into the mountain side, fallowing a passageway that lead into Dainashi. Riku would stand in awe. He looked upon the buildings that had been carved out of the rock, the large lines were cut into the building making intricate designs that seemed to go on forever. It was truly a feat Riku marveled at as he used her Rinnegan to take in as much of the surroundings as possible. Riku would walk around the city for hours. Enjoying the night life, food and festivities. A city once abandon brought to life. After spending the night in a local inn. Riku would then activate his sensing ability, having spend enough time relaxing. It was time to find the once he was looking for. Almost immediately Riku would locate Gwen. It would take him little time to close in on her. "Yo, Gwen. Nice place you have here" Riku would politely say as he waves a friendly gesture.
Always Activated: ( Doujutsu: Rinnegan ) Eye Technique: Samsara Eye
Type: Supplementary
Rank: S-Rank
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: N/A ( -5 per turn )
Damage: N/A
Description: One of the 3 great Doujutsu, the Rinnegan has, like the other, the ability to see chakra and the chakra flow of individuals. It also allows the user a great clarity of perception and tracking abilities, although its levels vary from user to user. Dispicted as the eyes of the SO6P, the Rinnegan awaken on Madara Uchiha after he obtained his EMS and implanted Hashirama's Senju cells in himself. Having both lineage from the SO6P allowed him to awake the Rinnegan. When Madara activates the Rinnegan, he seems to not suffer any kind decrease in his EMS abilities in terms of tracking speed, clarity of perception or seeing chakra. Eventually his eyes were bestowed upon Nagato Uzumaki and in him manifested lower abilities (equal or comparable to a 3 Tomoe Sharingan). While Nagato was never able to deactivate his eyes, Madara could switch at will between his EMS and Rinnegan eyes, although he wasn't able to go from 3 Tomoe to Rinnegan directly. Eventually Obito transplanted Nagato's (and subsequently Madara's) Left Rinnegan into himself. By doing so he gained access to both Doujutsu at the same time although losing the ability to deactivate the Rinnegan and as such, losing chakra constantly to maintain it.
Note: Constantly passively active in Nagato and Obito bios
Note: Requires activation ( spending move ) for Madara bios but remains active indefinetely afterwards if the user chooses to. After having a complete Madara bio with Rinnegan for 1 month, user becomes able to switch between both doujutsu without spending a move. User needs to have activated EMS before and had it active for 1 full turn.

Passivly Activated: (Chakra Henkanshi no Jutsu) - Chakra Sensing Technique
Type: Supplementary
Rank: C
Range: Short - Long
Chakra: 15 (- 5 per turn)
Damage: N/A
Description: This is a very advanced of advancing the ability to feel and sense chakra. The technique allows the user to concentrate and detect someone's chakra. Users can use this to determine the nature of a jutsu used as well as sense masses of chakra. The use of this can be compared to Sharingan's brutish level of sensory, able to sense collection of chakra but not the level of clarity and precision Byakugan has.
Note: Can only be used by bios with Sensory ability.
Note: After having on a bio for 1 month, users gain the ability to activate Sensory passively.

"Hmph, took you long enough I suppose, got lost on the way did you?"
Gwen said sarcastically. "Luckily for our sake, I've already taken a few necessary measures, but now that you're here we can have some fun. Have you heard anything from the Claymore kid? Saiske was it?"

Gwen opened the door to her home and stepped in inviting Riku inside. She placed her bag down and took out the medicinal salve she had just recovered. Tossing it over to Riku, she sat down and explained her current situation letting him know of the man named Kogu whom had been in contact with her off and on while since she had established the clan's headquarters here in the once abandoned city.

"I plan on getting some information out of him in the very near future. You're more than welcome to accompany me, unless you have other plans at this time?"

"Well Gwen, you know me. I'd much rather avoid any violence if possible. Kogu doesn't seem like much of an obstacle. If he's unwilling to give information I could always use my Rinnegan and gain all knowledge he has."

Riku would pour himself some nice cold tea taking a drink and releasing a sigh of satisfaction. He hasn't had some good chilled tea in quite awhile.

"We should get things situated here. Develop the region and gain control of the adjacent territories, preferably through peace. But I know you'll use whatever methods you want."

Knowing full well the different methods Gwen and himself employ. Riku would only hope Gwen would think on his words carefully. As unlikely as that may be Riku's would much rather make allies then enemies.

"Since the collapse of everything many groups are striving for power. It's become an era of Waring States. Our first priority should be establishing the Death Eaters and forming a well fortified stronghold. Lets get things settled with this, Kogu. Then continue from there. I'm ready to move out when you are."

Gwen grabbed a few belongings for the trip ahead of them. Placing them in her satchel, she started towards the door. On her way back to the Valley of Frost (172) where she first met Kogu.

This post will begin my mission to assist the Shogunate in an attempt to gain as much influence with him as possible.
I will be using these storyboard elements:

Explore a landmark.
Set up camp.

I will be undertaking the below mission in order to establish myself with the shogun.

Establishing an Outpost
Rank: D-Rank
Faction: The Shogunate of Takauji Ashikaga
Location: Yabuchi (023)
Requirement: N/A
Reward: Service Insignia (1x)
Description: A representative of the Shogunate has inquired about your willingness to assist in setting up an outpost in Yabuchi (023). The outpost can be a mere camp, or even a small stronghold made of stone or wood. Yabuchi is a strategic location for the Shogunate, as it is a key nexus for trade between the continents through ocean travel.

Gwendolyn had grown very restless, things were not as they were supposed to be. With the disappearance of Rikku and the kid name Saiske never showing his face, Gwen decided to abandon the idea of relying on humans to do a god's work. The informants in her landmark were constantly bringing information to her in regards to the world's events. Today, one of her loyalists, brought her a scroll that had a very emblazoned insignia upon it.

"Milady, word has been spreading around this country of a Shogun in need of assistance. Should I get your affairs in order for travel?"

Just who is this shogun anyway? And why should I be so inclined to help him in the first place?" Gwen said this as she unfurled the scroll and began gazing intently at is as she read. The person who called himself a representative of the shogun had posted a reward for anyone who was able to establish an outpost in the shogun's name on the Tea Country's peninsula. As far as geography went, Gwen knew it would be a long voyage to the country and the fast method would have to be by boat.

"News has said he goes by Shogun Takauji Ashikaga, an Heir to the Freehold of Hanguri. He was responsible for ordering the bounties on the clan by the name of Golden Sabbath. They have indeed made a name for themselves, after all, they have been rapidly growing and could prove problematic to your future endeavors."

Gwen laughed at the thought, but at the suggestion of her loyalist, she decided it was probably best to go and see the current events unfolding for herself. Signaling, the man left to go and gather the things Gwen would require for the trip.

A few minutes later, the man had returned with all the things she would need for a voyage across the sea. Gwen got dressed, the wind outside had produced a thick blanket of snow. Luckily for Gwen, she wouldn't have to walk as her servant had commissioned a wagon to take her to the nearest sea town known as Raitoninguroddobarē (176). The area was known for having many coastal villages, when Gwen arrived she'd see if there was someone willing to take her towards the Tea Country.

Coming from
This post marks my clan storyboard mission using the storyboard elements:

  • Perform administrative duties (1)
Summary: After arriving home after an unsuccessful mission, Gwen seeks to punish the servant who so blatantly lied to her about the Shogunate's representative. However, when she arrives, she realizes she has more pressing matters to attend to in regards to the future of her clan.

Clan Storyboard Mission: Necessary Changes

If there was ever a time Gwen was angry, it was now. Although she enjoyed her journey to the Land of Fire, she was highly upset about the accommodations that were arranged for her. The more and more Gwen got to know the humans, the more she realized how completely useless they were as a species. She couldn't wait to have her servant's guts spread out and on fire in front of her as he screamed in agony. Entering her stronghold in the mountains, Gwen's thoughts shifted. Dainaishi was lively, but it had not grown at the pace Gwendolyn had originally envisioned. How could she spread her influence among the masses and achieve world domination if she had not explored the world and what it had to offer? So far Gwen had not obtained any new allies, and she knew in order for her land to survive the era, she would need to do much more.

Walking into the headquarters, she kicked off her shoes and sat behind a desk and computer that had been set up for her. Letting out a deep sigh, it was time to make some changes that would benefit her and her clansmen in the long run. On her computer, Gwen began to search for and pull up the necessary forms that she would need to submit in order to shape the clan into something more to her liking. It seems those she originally thought would be allies, were nowhere to be found. They were scum in here eyes, she was better off without them. The forms Gwen was filling out contained a bit of detailed information on the money she had deposited into the World Bank on North West Kinai Island. Gwen also made a note in regards to the artifacts she had obtained. The artifacts were the Lesser and Superior Medicinal Salves, healing items that could be used on and off the battlefield to heal cuts and burns. Gwen had only found a need for them once, but if it ever came to it, she would rather be able to heal herself then let a filthy human attempt to do the same for her. After Gwen recorded the information she had obtained on the artifacts, she moved on to a website that would allow her to rename the Death Eaters into something more her liking. After careful thought, and pulling from her ideology of Kaguya Otsutsuki, Gwen finally settled on a name. The Mūn'usagi Clan seemed befitting enough, and she vowed it would be the name that would eventually be known to all.

Gwen the information, and soon pulled up a detailed map of the world that showed the current regions and their landmarks. Upon viewing this map, Gwen realized that the Lightning Mountains were still open for the taking, and if Gwen didn't act soon, the land she had her sites set on would soon be unobtainable without spilling blood or some diplomacy. The last idea made Gwen shudder, there was only one way to deal with humans and that was to get rid of them all. After printing the map and circling the areas she was keen to explore next, she submitted the documentation she would need to update her clan and continue her conquest of the Land of Lightning.

It was finally time for Gwen to finish the last of the mountain of paperwork that had stacked up while she was away. The
paperwork had information on nearly everything. Items found during the mining expeditions, request from those that resided in Dainaishi, you name it. Gwen spent hours, combing through the files. However, there was one request in particular that caught Gwen's eye.

"Come to the border of Dainaishi tonight." The scroll read, Gwen didn't know what such a vague request meant, but she was curious to find out. It seems that she wouldn't be able to reward herself for a job well done by killing off her incompetent servant today.

This post marks the beginning of my storyboard mission using these storyboard elements:

Rank: S (25)

  • Win a fight without your ninjutsu. (5)
  • Save a large community from danger. (5)
  • Survive a near-death situation. (5)
  • Save your Clan from a major catastrophe (5)
  • In the darkest hour, overcome (5)

Summary: Gwen goes to the border of
Dainashi, in order to see what was in store for her. After feeling stood up, on her way back home she's ambushed by a mysterious group and is forced to fight for her life and is forced to make a hard decision while the lives of those who reside in Dainashi are in the balance.

Clan Storyboard Mission: Into Darkness

Night had befallen Dainaishi and the entire city grew quiet as if it had been completely abandoned once again. Somehow, Gwen had been convinced to leave from her headquarters in order to fulfill a request that had made its way into the clan's offices. The peculiarness of the request was what intrigued Gwen, as the scroll simply had a single sentence on it.

"Come to the border of Dainashi tonight."

There was no symbols or any other indication of who might be responsible for creating the request. Gwen didn't even really know how it made it through processing in the first place. Another failing of her servant she presumed, Gwen couldn't wait to remove several of his fingernails as savagely as possible. The thought made Gwendolyn realize she had not heard anything from her servant since she left on her journey to the Tea Country. He had not appeared when she had initially returned. However, she put these thoughts in the back of her mind as she prepared to leave once again. She had decided to take it upon herself to personally see who exactly wanted to gain her attention. After packing her necessary belongings, she left for the border at once hoping to get the answers she wanted.

The path to the border of the land was rugged, after all, it did reside deep in the mountains. If it wasn't for her Byakugan, Gwen could have surely gotten lost as the wind began to pick up causing snow to begin blowing harshly as it did. Gwen had gotten used to the cold now though, living this high in mountains, you grew accustomed to it. Not to mention, the darkness was nothing to be trifled with. Gwen had heard the stories of miners who were never heard from again after losing their way around these parts. It made no difference to Gwendolyn however, because there was no way she could get lost with her eyes. Right? Dead ass wrong. As Gwen traveled, her eyes seemed unable to see past the endless snowfall that plagued the land. She also felt as though she had been walking for hours, and getting nowhere. In fact, she had noticed she had been actually walking in circles for a long time now. Activating her Byakugan, she finally realized that she had been subjected to a genjutsu, but at one point she didn't know. Gwen bit hard, on the inside of her cheek drawing the coppery taste of blood into her mouth breaking the genjutsu through pain. As the illusion broke, Gwen immediately saw she was no longer alone.

"Welcome Otsutsuki woman, seems you're not as smart as those hillbillies claimed you were," said a mysterious hooded figure. Gwen tried to jump into action but immediately fell to the ground as she felt her chakra being drained out of her.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk... did you really think we didn't come prepared?" The figure continued, as numerous more figures emerged from the shadows. As Gwen laid motionless on the ground, struggling against her fate she realized the figures had gotten closer to her.

"Who in the hell are you, and what the f*#k do you want?" Gwen said as she was barely able to look up to see who was behind all this. Soon, Gwen felt a sharp pain in her rib cage, she knew the blow had at least broken a couple of her ribs. But she didn't dare show weakness in front of these bastards.

"Is that really any way to talk to your new master? I guess a lesson in manners will have to be in order."

The only thing Gwen saw was the foot of the man coming down before she blacked out completely.

"Get her ready for transport, we've got work to do."

Coming from .

Ez realized that once they were nearing Dainashi, things would definietly heat up and he would soon be out of his league after hearing Gwen recount the tale of how she ended up nearly frozen to death in the tundra that was Yume Island. If it hadn't been for Gwen's incredible lifeforce, she woulda died long ago. Gwen was also lucky to learn a few survival techniques on from Ez, in case she ever found her self traveling aimlessly across the frozen tundra again. Gwen bid farwell to Ez and his dogs, having gained a bit more respect for life on the planet Earth after thier encounter.

Gwen was relived to be back home, but as she neared the underground city, the errie feeling she got let her know that all was not well. Since the drug surpressing Gwen's chakra was still circulating throuygh her system it was going to be a fight Gwen had to win using all of her cunning and battle experiance. Gwen was close to the end of her mission, and it was either do or die at this point. Gwen exhaled a deep breath, before taking a undisclosed path tha would lead her into the heart of the city. The path was actaully an old aqueduct that allowed water to flow from the glaciers of the mountians safely into canals that surrounded and interwined throughout the city, providing fresh water for those that called the once forgotten city home.

Gwen soon saw things were no where near how she left it on the night of her disappearance. It seems that all of her operations had been taken over by the mysterious Otsustsuki, that held her captive. Gwendolyn truly felt blind as she couldn't use her Byakugan to assess the situation in its entirity, but she countiued down the aqeuduct until it led her into the inner sanctum when she made her home. From what Gwen could tell, several armed men were patrolling the city and standing gaurd outside various key buildings inside the underground city. As Gwen neared her home, she could see two guards posted outside her door. If she wanted to slip inside unnoticed, she would need a distraction.

After a bit of thinking, Gwen came up with her course of action. She had acquired a piece of broken rock, planning to use it to knock out one of the gaurds. She got into position above the guards, trying her hardest to not make any noise or distrub any potentially lose rocks that lined the wall and could alert the guards to her position. Once she was sure she had remained unnoticed she executed her plan. The rock she had was fairly large, and at the height she was, a direct hit to the skull would mean instant death for anything below. Gwen had one chance, if she missed, things would get much more difficult. She took a deep breath, and let the gravity guide the rock towards it target.

"Bomb's away!" Gwen thought as the rock sailed silently downwards. Soon a gruesome crack could be heard as the first guard fell to the ground,his brains and blood spewed out on the ground after being split open. In shock, the second guard saw the rock and then looked up expecting a cave-in to be occuring only to have his face act as a cushion as Gwen jumped down feet first slamming the second guard into the ground before knocking him out cold. Gwen looked around quickly, making sure no other guards were stationed nearby. With the coast clear, Gwen began dragging the two men into her home. Luckily the drug supressing her chakra did not take away all her strength as she was quickly able to get into her home without much hassle.

Inside her home, Gwen quickly took in the fact she was finally back in her own space, but she still had not rid her home of the vermin that meant to try and destroy her way of life. She began searching both the guards, stripping them of thier belongings and weapons. Unfortunately for Gwen, neither of them had the antidote she would need to restore her chakra. She'd have to take out the apparent leader if she wanted to do that just like the pale Otsutsuki had said back on Yume Island. It would be only a matter of time before the still alive guard awoke. Using the means she had available, Gwendolyn proceed to tie the unconcious guard up to a chair, before she searched her home for a new clothing and supplies she would need to help her fufill her goal.

Gwen proceeded to wake the guard, who was happy to give her information on the group's operations in here territory. In exchange for the infomation, Gwen let the guy hang on to the rest of his miserable existence. Hell was about to be paid with interest. Gwen cracked her knuckles and stealthily peered out of her door, ready for action. With the intel Gwen gained, she began to head towards her clan's HQ which had now been occupied and functioned as the base of operations for culprits responsible for kinapping her. The people who resided in Danashi were all now being forced to mine deeper and deeper into the mountain. These were her subjects. Gwen entire purpose was to lead these humans to salvation, having them repent for the crimes and acknowledge her as their Queen. She would slaughter anyone who meant to take that away from her. As Gwen neared the HQ, she could see the guard had told her the truth. The mining operation was massive, a large tunnel had been carved out next to the HQ and Gwen had no idea how far down the tunnel lead at this point. Suddenly, a small platoon of guards started to make thier way in Gwen's direction who was trying her best to remain hidden behind some statues that lead up to the HQ building.

"Yeah, so operation of the minecarts should be up soon, so get that info down to the others and see what needs to be done in sectors A-D. I'm gonna go ahead and report to the boss on our findings." Said one voice in the middle.

"Aye aye, Lieutenant" Shouted the men in unison before saluting.

The platoon broke up and split into two groups, Gwen remained in the shadows and snuck her way inside behind theofficer and his two men that proceeded up the stairs and into the building. When Gwen walked in however the door quickly shut behind her. She had been found out and soon multiple assaliants poured out from various rooms nearly filling the room to occupancy. Gwen was trapped with no where to go, falling prey to the enemies ambush.

"You really think you could stroll in here and just take everything back after we worked so hard. Well, missy you've got another thing coming to ya." The lieutenant said this as he walked out from behind a group of people in the middle of the room confronting Gwen face to face.

"Well you didn't exaclty leave a girl a choice, be a good boy and let me pull the spines out of each one of you and hang em as decorations for Halloween. " Gwen said smirking but being sure to not to make any sudden movements as she didn't want to alert the enemy to the weapon she had hidden on her person.

"You don't know when to quit do you, fine let's cut right to the chase. Men, KILL this bi*ch!"

Suddenly several men began lunging towards Gwen from everywhere she could see. She quickly took a defensive stance, and led with her right hand delivering a punch squarely in the nose of the closet attacker sending him reeling backwards into his allies. Through the peripheral of her left eye Gwen could see a man reaching out towards her, and she quickly backstepped causing the man's outstrecthed arm to pass in front of her. Gwen in a fluid motion grabbed the arm and flipped the attacker ontop of another one of the assaliant attempting to punch her on the right. Several men were making thier way towards Gwen who quickly kicked a nearby table causing it to flip in the air, which then Gwen kicked forward sending the table smashing into the men and causing them to topple over on one another. However, Gwen had been grabbed from behind and was quickly being flipped over, however she used the momentum of the flip to grab hold of the attacker's hand, using the flip to get behind him while Gwen aimed a kick at his back knee, causing the man to buckle before Gwen broke his arm causing him to writhe in pain. Gwen withdrew the ninjato blade she had taken off the guards she had encountered earlier, as she could see the guards begin withdrawing weapons, Gwen quickly raced towards each attacker using her taijutsu ability to dealing fatal single slashes to all those who opposed her. Blood began pooling on the ground and began painting the wall as Gwen took down each attacker one by one. As the numbers began dwindling, Gwendolyn had not felt such a rush of adrenaline in such a long time she had almost forgotten why she became a Otsutsuki warrior in the first place.

Gwen had finally defeated all the attackers, but realized the boss had casually slipped away during the commotion. The arrogance would be met ith swift death as soon a sGwen located him. Without the Byakugan she would have to search each and every room manually. If she wanted to regain access to her chakra, she would need to first retrieve the antidote which the whereabouts were only known to the one trying to avoid her.

Gwendolyn made her way throug her clan's HQ, searching each room carefully as she began to think that she may have let the man escape during the "fun" she was having in the battle she had a few moments to go.Finally Gwen got to the last possible room in the building, she slowly reached for the door, before the sizzle of an explosive tag could be heard on the other side. Gwen jumped back from the doorwya just in time to avoid being caught up in the explosion. Standing up, Gwen coughed due to the amount of smoke that began filling the hallway. However as she did, the boss of the mysterious group had appeared towering over Gwen.

"So here it is, the moment of truth. You vs Me. You know, I've waited for this moment a long time. The time I finally get to rip those horns off your head and stick them up your ass. However, it's a shame a preety face liek your will be unrecognizable when im done."

Gwen tried luanching a sucker punch throat shot at the man to shut him up, however, he had saw it coming a mile away. Grabbing Gwen's arm, his grip was one of the strongest Gwen had ever experianced, before the man tossed her against the wall like a rag doll, dazing her. By now the Headquarters was up in flames due to the explosion and portions of the building began crumbling and it was become harder to breathe.

"Oh by the way, if you can't defeat me, we're gonna blow this place sky high and make way for your Otsutsuki pal's plan. We've got explosvie tags already place in various parts of this mountain that'll make bijuudamas look like fireworks.

Gwen got up, and tried regain her composure, but with the inhalation of the smoke her vision was beginning to blur. The ceiling begin to fall in on itself in various positions as the group's boss neared her he flashed the antidote. Trying to coax Gwen into making a mistake in her current condition was something she was not going to fall for, she countiued to back away to bide her time. Making an escape plan to get out of the building before it completely collapsed, as Gwen backed away she could tell the foundation above would give way an minute. but it seemed her advesary had no idea or just didn't care.

"You want this don't you?? Stop running and show me what you're made of!"

"You know big guy, you're right. I can't defeat you, not like I am now. But I know what can."

The boss looked intrigued at this prospect. " Is that so? We'll I might as well destory this antidote anyways."

As he went to crush the vial in his hand, Gwen made a quick movment throwing a kunai up into the celing above, was all it needed as the ceiling foundation came down ontop of the head of the group's boss. The antidote in his head was released and emerged uunscathed which Gwen caught and made a run post haste. A window behind her had shattered under the heat of the fire, and Gwen knew she had only seconds to get out of be crushed to death under the rocks that would give way due to the shift of the building mass, which had supported the surrounding rock for so long.

As Gwen jumped out the window another explosion finally occured propelling Gwe further than she had anticpated which sent her landing hard on the hard surface of the ground. Gwen didn't survive without a few bruises and she could tell she had broken ribs due to the impact, but she was alive and had finally succeeded in reclaiming her home.

~~~
Several weeks later, the town of Danashi had grown lively again. The last of the explosive tags were finally found and removed by Gwen who had now regained full controll of her chakra as if it were her first experiance with it. The powerful drug had nearly erased the chakra from her body and had it resided in her any longer Gwen might not have been able to live to tell the story. Humbled by the experiance, Gwen realized she had begun to care for the people who made Danashi a place to call home. With this new outlook on life, Gwendoly was now prepared to take on the world and unite all people in the Land of Lightning under one banner.
This post marks the beginning of my Conqueror's End Mission using these storyboard elements:
  • Defeat a horde of zombies without using your ninjutsu (5)
Synopsis: Gwen has been enjoying the festivities surrounding Conqueror's End. As this is her first time experiencing human culture and festivities, she is thoroughly enjoying the experience. However, things quickly change when the celebration becomes interrupted by the screams of the living and moaning of the dead.
Storyboard Mission: A Celebration of Terror!!
"Trick or Treat, smell my feet! Gimme something good to eat! If you don't, I don't care, I'll just pull down your underwear!" The voices rang out as a group of children dressed in all manner of costumes were enjoying the Conqueror's End celebration. Gwen stood off to the side as she observed the actions of the adults who spread candies and toys among the children. This time of year was very interesting, to say the least in Gwen's honest opinion. She had never experienced the joys of celebration, but she could definitely get used to the atmosphere that had engulfed Dainaishi. Gwen watched as the children ran off after being given the treats they demanded, running off to the next house where they repeated the same rhyme. Gwen smirked at the idea behind the rhyme, it signified a philosophy she had heard but couldn't quite remember where she heard it, only the words came to mind: Pay or be Conquered.
As Gwen enjoyed one of her favorite past-times of drinking, sipping on a seasonal beverage of Spiced Rum she had gotten one of the vendors that had set up a booth for the festival. The taste was unique, but Gwen enjoyed the warmth the drink provided as it entered her gullet. She could get used to this time of year. After finishing the drink, it was definitely time to explore the different types of activities before the final event could get underway. Gwen knew towards the end of the night, there would be a Costume Party that she wanted to avoid at all cost. She had been chosen as a judge to decide the best costume of the night, however, Gwen had other plans. She wanted to drink herself under the table, as it wasn't very often she'd got a chance to cut loose from the daily grind. As she walked down the street, she noticed decorations. Carved pumpkins which were lit by candles, had been given creepy and even funny faces. The judges for the pumpkin carving competition were all gathered, placing their votes for the best carving. Gwen continued on her path, lest she be pulled into the judging for that activity also. The next activity Gwen noticed was face painting, children and their parents were lined up waiting for the chance to have their face painted into ghouls, goblins, and ghosts. Stopping, Gwen took the time to observe the technique of the face painter. Each stroke of her brush transformed the face of the child until finally they had a been completely changed. As Gwen walked away, she turned abruptly due to a small voice from behind her.
"Pay or be Conquerored!!!!"
As Gwen turned, she noticed a small child had come up behind her and attempted to scare her. Gwen pretended to be scared at the site of the child who was dressed in a peculiar costume. The small boy appeared to be dressed in a military uniform, but his face had been painted as like a skull. Gwen was thoughly impressed with the outfit, and proceeded to compliment the child.
"That's a nice costume there kid, I was completely scared there for a moment, and who might you be?"
"I'm Uchiha Cassander! One of Lord Alexandros best Generals! Now, pay up or I'll take everything you got," the kid shouted loudly as if Gwen wasn't right in front of him.
"Alright, alright, fine! You win, " Gwen retorted, luckily she had grabbed a few treats for herself, which she dug out of her pocket and placed in the kid's basket.
The kid, looked at the candy, and looked at Gwen displeasure seemed to be written across his forehead.
"Is this really all you've got?! That can't possibly be all!" In moments, Gwen had been surrounded by children as if they had heard the rallying call of this tiny general. Evil laughs could be heard as the kid's in the area had started to get to move in closer to Gwendolyn. She looked around, seeing most of the kid's had been wearing dark unifroms, appearing as if they were the mini Cassander's soilders. Gwen suddenly was hit from behind, the smell of rotten eggs in the air. She turned to see the kids behind her now all had eggs brandished in thier hands, but they all quickly lowered them upon seeing Gwen's face. The terror and killing intent they felt sent them screaming and laughing as they all scattered like roaches.
"And ya'll bet not try that again, you snot nosed punks!!!" Gwen said, having made her point. She took another sip of her rum and continued towards the square where the final activity was being prepared still. With the smell of rotten eggs still in her nose, Gwen had to replace her clothing, and returned home in order to do so.
~~~

By the time Gwen had changed into a clean outfit, cursing the kids for making her waste valuable drinking time it was now time for the final event of the night. The Costume Dance Party was well underway, and this time many of the adults were also dressed in different costumes and mask. The sight of it all, really humbled Gwen. Humans were indeed nothing more then pawns to her, but the energy and culture of the species signified a fresh beginning in Gwen's opinion of them. As Gwen watched the party, reluctant to join, she stood by the open bar that had been set up and proceeded to get another cup of the Spiced Rum. The area was illuminated by nothing but candles, which gave the dance a creepy vibe. Music blared from speakers, but was suddenly stopped as a blood-curdling scream could be heard in the distance. As the music stopped, the screams could be heard more clearly, and suddenly the crowd began to run frantically as even more screams were heard, but this time they were coupled with the groans and moans of something treacherous. As Gwen stood on the bar, to see all the commotion, she could see a odd sight. A group of decaying people were huddled around the body of a woman, ripping ravenously into her flesh. Blood and guts began to spew everywhere as Gwen looked on, trying to figure out if she had drunk herself into hallucination. However, the sight was very real. Various people trained in the art of ninjutsu tried fighting back, however, as they unleashed thier techniques upon the undead, they realized thier attempts were futile, as they simply stood back up, the damage they had been dealt seemed to not effect them in the slightest. Soon those who meant to fight, were also being devoured as Dainashi began being overrun by the dead. As Gwen observed the situation with her Byakugan while ushering the citizens to evacuation points that had been set up after the ordeal Gwen had gone through involving the nameless pale Otsutsuki, she decided that protective measure needed to be put in place for her subjects, however, she didn't expect having to use them so soon. Screams continued throughout the city, as the horde of zombies clawed there way from the underground, and through the tunnels that lead to the underground city. As Gwen directed the citizens, she realized that if she didn't deal with the horde the once abandoned town would be nothing more than a graveyard for the undead. The horde continued to grow as those who had recently perished, suddenly stood, and began to pursue the living. The undead's numbers continued to grow as the defenseless were slaughtered, while the screams attracted them to the next meal.

As Gwen ran to protect a group of fleeing citizens, groups of zombies were attracted to the commotion and began making of the people making thier way in thier direction. If they were to live, Gwen had to make it her duty to protect them. As the horde neared, Gwen unleashed a torrent of lightning towards the zombies, hoping to deter them from their advance, however, they remained unaffected just as Gwen had seen previously. This proved to Gwen that ninjutsu would not be effective option to take out the undead. The only thing Gwen could think of now was physical combat, however from the looks of it, those who were caught between the unrelenting jaws of the dead would come back as one themselves. Gwen kicked one zombie in the stomach, causing him to topple backwards and causing a domino effect as several zombies in the horde fell to the ground. This however didn't stop the endless advance, and Gwen could see the people running behind her growing more frantic as they neared. Gwen withdrew her Bo staff and proceeded to fight in the only way available to her at these moments. She lead with a sweep motion, knocking several zombie to thier feet, as one grabbed at her ankles, she slammed the end of her staff into the skull of the zombie, blood spurted out, but Gwen realized the zombie laid motionless as the others continued on.

"AIM FOR THIER HEADS! NINJUTSU DOESN'T KILL THEM!" Gwen shouted at the top of her lungs to those assisting her in repelling the undead attackers.

Gwendolyn literally jumped into action, using her staff she smashed the heads of several of the zombies with a single thrust to the skull. As Gwen fought, she felt an overpowering grip upon her shoulder before she heard the moaning of a zombie which was trying to bite into her flesh from behind. Gwen reacting fast, grabbed the zombie by the arm, flipping it over her back and onto the ground. She would notice, the face of the child who had previously played a trick on her. His face having been ripped away by the undead's assualt, his still painted, but now bloody face now showed portions of his actual skull. Gwen began feeling saddened at the fact the life was lost so young, but could not dwell upon the fact as she was beginning to get surrounded. Soon several of the zombiews fell to the gorund after a loud bangs could be heard. Heads of the zombies exploded, as brains and blood were strewn across the ground, painting decorations. The townsfolk could be seeing pouring back out of thier homes, brandishing weapons and makeshift armor. Gwen could see the citizens were not going to give up thier home so easily without a fight.

"Heh, so you all aren't gonna cower after all!" Gwen said as the mob of people began to stand and fight with her.

"We can't let you protect us all the time," a voice called out from the crowd.
"We aren't so weak we've gotta rely on an alien for salvation, what do you think this is? Dragon Ball Z?" Said another more condesending voice among the people. Normally, Gwen would have enforced a strict punishment on the one who had jokes in this time of disaster, but the city had not been secured. So Gwen decided, to save the torture for later. After the townsfolk cleared the remaining zombies out of the square, they began dividing themselves into groups in order to cover more area and eradciate the horde once and for all. Gwen could clearly see with her Byakugan that the town had been completely overrun and the town was a wreck as people died trying to defend themselves.

The group scattered as they had been given the areas they were tasked with clearing, luckily for Dainashi's sake, several shinobi had taken refugee in the city prior to Gwen's arrival and had stayed in the city after her clan had taken control of the area. These shinobi lead the townspeople as they went from area to tarea searching for clues and dispatching the occasional group of undead. Gwen used her Byakyugan to search for the source of the issue, who was responsible for unleashing this madness upon her town. Gwen knew thier had to be some powerful kinjutsu at play, and she would need to track down the source if she was to get the answers she needed. As the final groups dwindled down the numbers of the undead, Gwen finally tracked down a clue to her problem. As she invesitageted the bodies of the undead, she noticed that there was an evil chakra at work that was faintly circulating through the bodies of the undead.

Who was capable of using such malvolent tactics? Who was it pulling the strings? Gwen knew these answers would have to be answered if she wanted to prevent an attack like this in the future. As dawn broke, the final batch of zombies had been dispatched by Gwendolyn and her group as she continued to search for clues but found none. It seemed if she wanted to find out what was going on, she would finally have to leave her home in the mountains and search for the tainted chakra that created the attack on her home.

A small boat drifted out of the large Gaikotsu Bay and settled against the icy shore of Dainashi. A blistering wind rolled across the tundra-like landscape, sending small flakes of harmless snow and ice adrift. The Titan, completely unfazed by the desolate weather, stepped off of the boat. His blue eyes pierced through the small clouds of breath that wafted with each exhale, and he stepped deeper still onto the shore, making his way towards the city that shared the same name as the land.

A cold chill brew through the room that sent shivers down Hei's back. He awakes to see the blankets have been kicked to the floor.
"Another restless sleep." Hei thinks to himself as he begins to get ready for the day. The town can be heard in the distance, lively as ever as the lights illuminate the large cave. After eating at a local food stand Hei makes his way outside, wrapped in heavy clothing to avoid the frost. He makes his way east, down the mountain. After settling in Dainashi, it was about time the clan began to spread it's influence throughout the land of lightning.

After a long night of rest, Hei makes his way to the local market. Loading up on supplies for his trip. Hei takes a moment to breath in the fresh sent of baked goods from the market place. "Ah, i'm going to miss that small" he thinks to himself as he leaves the hidden settlement and begins making his way west.
