Optional: After feathering, drop a few shadows (X: 0, Y: 0, Blur:1) on the render. This tends to look good if the render is a vector or colored drawing, not a photo.

no this isn't the ordinary paint.
it's paint.net you can download it from paint.net:p

it's like a extended version of paint, with some features photoshop has.

I found this to be very informative, but I do have one question, do you think Paint.net is better than GIMP, both are free and I already have GIMP but I was wondering if this was worth trading it in for.

Thanks for the tip. But I'm having a hard time with an image as the background is black just as the lines of the characters, so the only way I found to put the background in white is to open the image in Paintbrush and erase the background colour.

Of course it takes a lot of time. Do you know any other way?

first i still need to know how to cut it and i dont have any other program but gimp 2 am sooooooooo rookie there i still not that good in (( inserting )) picies in gimp and paint.net v3.36 i got a really little expirince out of it but still needs help
what is te use if i dont know how to cut them out of thier own background
plzzzzzzzzzzzz anyone help me out :confused:
