""And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm." Mattew 8:26

...In a land that seemed to be neither physical or ethereal, not of this Earth, nor Heaven, nor Hell, not a place where time existed, the swordsman known as Keotsu waited....waited amongst the golden haze, in an area bathed in silver light...

As the space of this land feels quite tight I told myself, as I walked past the void into another world, where am I is the main question I asked myself as I stepped closer and closer to the center where a man is waiting on me...
"Keotsu-san? How long has it been?!" Ishtio asked with a face smiling like a damn yankee of the sword. "The last time we meet you kicked my butt in a game of cards but this time Ill win for sure...." Ishiro face gleams as he tries setting the mood to a more calmer tone than before but this area is too tense for a man like Ishiro. "None the less, shall we begin our session?" Ishiro asked with a normal face and more serious look

Keotsu remained silent and stalwart in the haze, his body giving off a subtle yellow glow. Speaking, his voice coming out in a way that could only be described as distant, he began to speak.

"I hold within me knowledge to what is known in this world as the pinnacle of Kenjustu techniques, derived by chakra. Techniques and teachings that extend beyond a mortal plane...With effort they touch upon the domain of God, and reject the forces of the physical world.

These techniques deny the philosophy of Kenjutsu as a way of killing, and embrace it as a way of guardianship.

As heaven eternal, these teachings will stand everlasting.

Are you willing...to put aside all that you know, and learn to pray?"

"As God as my witness I...Ishiro is willing to put all the world has taught me, in order to understand what you are about to teach to me." As the haze in the area starts to appear more and Keotsu's body glows a gloden yellow, Ishiro watches as if he is some type of angel and closes in more to the man in the center.

When Keotsu grasped his own blade, a calmness over took him; with a grunt, he unsheathed his blade, and the haze was dispelled. Moving away from the swordsman, radially, the mist dissipated revealing the true nature of the world they were in.

Keotsu and Ishiro stood upon a cliff of white stone, adorned in viridian fields; a lone tree, an apple blossom, stood upon this cliff, and the ocean below was a brilliant gold, stained by the colors of sunset. The weather was cool, but no uncomfortable. While the air was warm, a cool breeze blew in from the sea....

"The place you reside in now...is a piece of my soul made physical. It is perhaps the best field to show you my teachings.

The first piece of my techniques, is known as the "Shining Autumn Pillar." It is a technique that all that comes is built upon.

The technique itself, boosts your physical prowess, both in speed and strength, by 25%. Beyond this, though, the technique turns you into an "unmovable pillar". When a technique approaches you, you can swing your sword, and dispel the technique entirely upon contact.

The prayer that this technique is based upon is the belief that you will be unyielding. You will not give way to any force thrown at you, and you will withstand all opposition, for the things you fight for are worth protecting, and no force surpasses this desire. And so, with your blade, you will cut through those forces, and dispel them.

As for the function of the technique, with these beliefs in mind, it is simply a matter of focusing your chakra in a stream, and letting it permeate your body, while in a variant of the Waki-Kendo stance....

I've already preformed the technique, thus the clearing of the haze around us. And, being in this relam..I can imprint the knowledge upon your soul, which I have already done.

I bestow upon you 'The First Prayer of the Command Arts: Shining Autumn Pillar.'

Show me your faith."

(Kamei Gigei: Saisho no Inori: Hikaru Aki Hasira) Command Art: First Prayer: Shining Autumn Pillar
Rank: A
Type: Offense/Supplementary/Defense
Range: Self
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: The first of the “Prayer” series of the Command Arts, Hikaru Aki Hashira, often called “Aki-gamae (autumn stance)” by its users, is a Kenjutsu stance instead of an actual attack. It is a variation of the Waki-gamae in that the user holds their blade at waist level, parallel to the ground, whether in its scabbard or not, a position best suited for quick-draw strikes. The user focuses their chakra throughout their entire body in a steady stream while in this stance, increasing their speed and strength by 25%. This increase in ability comes about from the chakra augmenting the muscles naturally, instead of forcefully, essentially putting the body in a natural “peak” condition. This chakra also coats the user’s blade and allows the counter-offensive nature of Aki come through. Whether sheathed or not, the user can swing their blade and dispel an incoming attack by disrupting it, allowing the user to protect themselves and then counter-attack. The method of blocking attacks is based upon the concept of an immovable pillar.
*The First Prayer can only shield the user from attacks of an equal or lower rank.
*Blocking an attack counts against one of the three allotted moves in a turn.

Amazed by the power witnessed before me, I look as the grave of the first of the Command Arts is show not me, with my knowledge of facing this move once my self, I take a stance shifting my position into the Waki, but this time with my sword parallel to the ground and waist leveled. "Lets go Masamune!" As i say this i be gin channeling my chakra into my Blade allowing my chakra to radiate all over mu body, bypassing my natural strength, and as I feel my boda becoming much stronger I say " By the commandments of God! I accept thy blessings!" As this happens, a large flux in my chakra causes Wind to blow all round my "Keotsu...is this...heaven?" I ask with a quéstioned look. "Does it spike my chakra to break Genjutsu as well?"

"You are wrong on both accounts. I said these powers touched upon the domain of God...I did not say they came from him. And no...this place is not heaven.

These Prayers are not said to a deity in particular, even if my belief in a deity not of this continent did have a hand in their creation. No, these prayers are beliefs uttered unto yourself, and your loved ones. These prayers are promises, requests to your deepest beliefs to lend you the strength to defend the things dear to you. Should you attempt to use these prayers for darker needs, I'm not sure if they would still work. The power you wield is not the power of God, channeled into you.

It's the power of humanity, of the heart, of the teachings my beloved Sensei gave to me so long ago."

Keotsu paused for a moment to collect his thoughts.

"The Prayers themselves will not release you from Genjutsu. They are gently flowing rivers, not the deluge of a pierced dam. However, Genjutsu is chakra, and chakra can be cut. If you can find the right way to 'strike' at the energies of a Genjutsu, thus preventing it from affecting you, but doing that requires other, auxiliary techniques. these techniques will not release you from a Genjutsu's grasp; the Prayers exist on a physical plane, and a spiritual one as well. They don't deal with matters of the mind.

Now, this technique is immensely useful in it's nature, and is the keystone of all the prayers. Yet, it is in unmovable pillar, not an unbreakable one.

And with that, if you are ready, I will bestow upon you the refinement of this Prayer, so that shattering this pillar becomes more difficult to do."

"I see, I was wrong and was taught from my mistakes, these are the prayers of light and hope, the feeling of justice to protect the ones we love... Im sorry for my foolish words anaki", Ishiro says with a gleam in his eyes, as he stares more around him he wonders about these place even more and asks "This is a sector of your soul huh brother? Im amazed...its so..quiet here.. almost like paradise.. and for me to learn of such a place exists..., mine is similar..but rather more upbeat you know?" Ishiro with Kami Seiken in his hands as he feels the winds blow in his long flowing hair and the sound of calm thoughts echos in his mind. "The Refinement of a prayer..can such a thing exist?" Ishiro thinks to himself, but knowing Keotsu, Ishiro has no doubts that anything can be made reality with noting but will and heart. "Yes I am ready" Ishiro says to Keotsu with a confident tone in his voice as he takes the Autumn stance again waiting to see more from his master

"The next technique is Gokumonken, or 'Prison Gate Sword'. It's name is inspired by the flaming sword that guards the Gates to Hell, and the other flaming blade that guards the gates to Eden. A formidable blade used to protect.

The premise behind Gokumonken is simple: the affects of the First Prayer are limited to your blade, thus meaning your sword is required to make contact for that prayer's abilities to be utilized; it also requires you to assume the Aki-stance, which can be troublesome in a tight spot; but with this, the need to stand in stance is taken away, and the affects of the first prayer go to your entire body, allowing you complete protection so long as you are aware of the incoming attack, and that said attack does not break the Prayer's armor.

Here, I bestow upon you the knowledge for this technique."

(Kamei Gigei: Fukutsu no Inori: Gokumonken) Command Art: Prayer of Fortitude: Prison Gate Sword
Rank:B
Type: Supplementary/Defense
Range: Self
Chakra: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: A refinement of the First Prayer: Hikaru Aki Hasira, this technique expands the ability of the First Prayer. Where as Shinning Autumn Pillar is locked only to the user’s weapon, and forces them to stand in a specific stance, this technique turns it into a full on “Mode”, covering the entirety of the user’s body and thoroughly saturating it with the same effect; This allows the user to fight unhindered by having to remain in one stance, while also allowing the effects of the First Prayer to extend to their entire body. Besides this saturation, Gokumonken provides one extra effect: techniques that would be destroyed by the First Prayer’s effect can instead be reflected back at the opponent, taking the place of the First Prayer’s defensive ability, but still counting as an additional move per turn.
*Cannot be used unless the First Prayer is active.
*Remains active until the First Prayer wears off.
*Can only be used twice in a battle.
*Reflecting attacks back counts as a move per turn, and is bound by the limitations of the First Prayer's abilities of defense.

"This technique also allows an interesting ability: where as the First Prayer made you a pillar to weather the waves of the storm...this ability allows you to throw them back. You can reflect attacks, instead of dispelling them."

"I see... thats a nice addition..”

Now as Reki recives this information, she then by channeling her chakra from her blade around her body creating a new type of armor around her body, now attaining the full release of the first prayer.

“Quite simple but its more better now that i can send them back!“

"Indeed. The ability to turn the enemies power against them without the need to expend your own, or to even just harmlessly dispel it is an invaluable asset in battle. Throw the first attack of a combo back at an opponent to throw off the momentum, while you can essentially go from nothing more than a swing of your blade into a proper attack. Conserving your own strength and chakra, and using your opponent's against them, further reinforcing the counter-offensive nature of the First Prayer, while also giving you more freedom of movement.

The next technique is the first proper attack in the Command Arts, and a high utility technique. It is based upon the principles of Iaido, and thus works frighteningly well for Samurai, whom have unmatched speed in such a form, but is devastating nonetheless in the hands of the master swordmen who wield the Command Arts.

The technique, Broken Mirror Severing, is simple in execution. Think of a normal Kenjutsu shockwave as a single mass of glass. By applying force, we create an infinite number of "shards" out of that single piece. On the fundamental level, this is Zekkyodan; strike with a thousand blades, versus only one. It was made to work both defensively, and offensively, though.

When unsheathing your blade, you project your chakra forward with the quick, drawing motion of your blade, flinging your chakra forward unto your enemy, the infinite number of chakra blades tumbling through the air in a beautiful dance. The incredible power of this assault should make all that stands in it's path yield, reduced to dust.

But, besides being an incredible offensive threat, it has incredible utility defensively. The Prayers defenses are only so strong; they are not absolute. But, when sheathing your blade, while using Zekkoydan, instead of launching these infinite blades forward, they will surround you in a dome, striking out at everything around you.

The immense power of Zekkyodan will be concentrated around you, mush like the Hyuuga do with their Rotation attack, weakening an incoming attack enough that the First Prayer should defend you, if Zekkyodan does not outright destory it, itself.

Zekkyodan is the standard offensive unit of the Prayers. It is to be used to both harass your opponent with a powerful attack, and allow a significant, temporary, boost to your Prayers to help further defend you.

I bestow upon you the knowledge for the Second Prayer."

(Kamei Gigei: Dai ni no Inori: Zekkyōdan) Command Art: Second Prayer: Broken Mirror Severing
Rank: S
Type: Offensive/Defensive
Range: Short-Mid
Chakra: 40
Damage: 80
Description: The second in the “Prayer” series of Command Arts, Zekkyōdan differs in its working depending on if the user’s blade is being resheathed or drawn, though in both cases the move is a strange type of Battōjutsu, meaning that it involves multiple cuts. In the event that the sword is being sheathed, there is a quick flash as the blade’s guard meets the top of the scabbard, during which a chakra burst creates a countless number of cuts in a 360 degree short-range dome around the user, shredding any incoming attack to dust; this being the defensive variant of the move. When unsheathing the blade, however, the affect is “launched”; that is, when the blade is unsheathed, a cyclone of chakra is shot forward, with the chakra inside the cone-like structure acting as tiny knives, shredding that which they come into contact with; this is the offensive variant of the move.
*Cannot be used unless the first “Prayer” has been activated.
*Can only be used once per turn.
*Due to needing to reset their stance, this move cannot be used back-to-back, even between turns, meaning another technique must be used in between uses.
*The same version of this move cannot be used consecutively – meaning, if the defensive variant is used first, the offensive variant must be used the next time the technique is used.

“ So the second prayer is based on the aspect Iaido? That’s quite unusal to me as a shinobi because I don’t draw my blade as fast as the Samurai does, but still It won’t stop me from trying”

As Reki says this she grabs her katana and draws it out of her sleathe in order to try the defensive version first. She then slides her foot back taking the battojutsu stance, and bringing her sword into the scabboard, which at a moment’s burst, a large flash is unleashed from the blade, as the tip meets with the scabboard, which causes all the leaves around area around me within short range to be attacked with infinite amounts of slashes in a dome radius as the blade fully reaches in the scabboard, the rush is suddenly over.
Now attempting the second time, Reki grabs the hilt and with all her might , she forces the blade out again while channeling her chakra into the blade, causing a vortex of chakra to fly outwards and slash up everything in front her with thousands of small microblades.

“Wow what a rush, that move is very useful for multiple targets when attacking me in an ambush”

"Indeed. Zekkyodan makes a fearsome offense, but it is the defense that is more formidable. If faced with what seems to be insurmountable odds, I doubt there is much that can withstand the might of Zekkyodan that cannot then be dispelled withe Prayers..."

Keotsu exhaled, his voice and body sounding distant, disrupted as he did, as if was somehow being filled with noise; with static.

"The next Prayer I don't know how much use you'll glean from. It was designed for a specific strategy, though it does have it's uses outside of it.

Where as the last few Prayers have been based upon concepts of an immovable pillar, this one is based upon the concept of making an army out of oneself. It works simply by focusing your chakra around you, like a shroud; as time goes on, by guiding that chakra, you can move this "Phantasm".

A "clone" that is not a clone, that mimics your every movement...This doppelganger can actually become an invaluable ally.

Now, inherit my third prayer..."

(Kamei Gigei: Dai san no Inori: Sōgenmu) Command Art: Third Prayer: Twin Phantasms
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra Cost: 20
Damage: N/A
Description: The Third in the “Prayer” series of Command Arts, Sōgenmu is a type of Psuedo-bunshin developed specifically for Kenjutsu. The user will coat their body in a layer of chakra, creating a rainbow colored doppelganger. This doppelganger mimics every attack the user makes, down to even the launching of shockwaves and the amount of force behind an attack. At first, the doppelganger fluctuates only slightly around the user, making it appear as if the user is surrounded by some sort of haze. As time progresses, and the phantasm becomes more unstable, the user can “slide” and “rotate” the doppelganger away from them; though it will still mimic the user’s moves exactly, it will remain a set distance from the user. This changing in orientation allows the user to use the doppelganger to maximum effect.
*Cannot be used unless the first “Prayer” has been activated.
*The doppelganger remains for five turns.
*Can only be used once per turn.
*Can only be used three times.
*Every jutsu that the clone uses counts as an additional move per-turn with the exception of the Command Art Mirage Blade (Kamei Gigei: Kougenjin).
*The distance the clone can move is as follows: T1: Short; T2: Between Mid-Short; T3: Mid; T4: Between Mid-Long; T5: Long.

As the third prayer is bestowed upon me, I begin channeling my chakra from my body all over, with my advance chakra control, I can feel the chakra resonating to the peak of my power. As I do this a rainbow like haze appears around my body where as a outter thick layer of chakra forming into an exact copy of me starts to for around my body made of completely chakra alone. As the time goes by enough for the phantom to form more, I slide it away from where it is facing the target and waiting to strike, in which as I move forward to assualt the doppleganger comes in the same direction following me and coming down to strike the dummy down and two of us slashing through it

Reki then stands up as the phantom smiles and fades away...

"It was an exact copy ey? i can actually use a extra hand in combat"

Keotsu nodded, in affirmation. He realized that the time remaining was limited, and thus decided that he would soon have to conclude the lesson.

"The next Prayer is also the last, and is the only one created with a solely offensive purpose. It summons forth the Wrath of Heaven's armies, dropping down a pillar of energy, capable of rending a mountain range to dust. This power rivals that of the Bijuu, and perhaps even surpasses them...

It is not a technique I have ever used. Take the knowledge, and use it only wisely, for this power comes with the end of the Prayer's Blessings."

(Kamei Gigei: Saigo no Inori: Tenshōha) Command Art: Final Prayer: Heaven’s Illumination Conquest
Rank: Forbidden
Type: Offensive
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 50
Damage: 150 (-50 to user)
Description: The final “Prayer” of the Command Arts, Tenshōha is also the only offensive Prayer to not directly attack with the user’s sword, though it still falls into the Kenjutsu category due to needing the user’s sword to activate. Breaking the semi-crouching stance attained by the first Prayer, the user will stand and focus their chakra into their blade. By sheathing their blade, the user activates the technique. Their chakra will be unleashed in a powerful burst, calling forth a massive pillar of energy from the Heavens that descends upon the battlefield. Falling with incredible strength, the pillar has enough force to level the terrain completely and leave nothing but dust in its wake, though the after-effects of the jutsu seem to encourage the growth of life in the area. The user, at the epicenter of the blast, takes 50 damage; the only reason they do not pass out is because the chakra coursing through their body from the first Prayer forms a protective dome around them, lessening the blow of the blast.
*Can only be used if the first “Prayer” was used sometime earlier in the battle.
*When used, the effects of the first “Prayer” end.
*Can only be used once.
*The user can only use two techniques in the turn this is used, this jutsu included in that tally.
*No other Prayer can be used in the same turn.
*No Prayers can be used in the next turn.
*This is a Non-elemental blast.

As this is done, Ishiro raises his sword into the sky channeling her chakra into. As this happens, he looks at the sky as heavenly clouds form around the area. Without a moment to speak, he sleathes his katana and a massive wave of chakra in the form of a pillar comes down and rains into the area leveling it down to noting. As this happens Ishiro on the ground gruning from the little damage done stands up proud and waits further instructions but seems Keotsu starting to fade away

Keotsu observed quietly as Tenshouha relieved the blessings of the Prayers from Ishiro, and wiped out Keotsu's "spirit world" with its incredible force. It truly was a devastating force, like the armies of Heaven marching to war. But, like such a force, it left a since of renewal in its wake, as destruction was not its purpose. It's purpose was simple to end, war.

"I've but one final technique to give to you. It's power is not of the Prayers, and may seem feeble in comparison. But, this technique synergies with those techniques beautifully, and is arguably just as important to me as the Prayers are.

The technique is a simple one: you will release you chakra from your blade with a certain type of rotational quality to it. From there on out, techniques that do not overpower this...rotational, magnetic, pull that your chakra has, will be drawn towards and into your blade. While this is dangerous in itself, it makes using the Prayers easier. With my blade Mythos boosting it's strength, the Prayers and this technique made me all but invincible.

Here, I bestow upon you the knowledge to command the God of Thunder himself."

(Kamei Gigei: Raijinshō) Command Art: Raijin Rising
Rank: A
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short-Long
Chakra: 30
Damage: N/A
Description: The Kenjutsu technique allows Swordsmen to more easily fight against Shinboi attacks of all sorts; the user will activate this technique by quickly focusing chakra into their weapon and spinning it in a complete circle in front of them. After this simple ritual is completed, a “magnetic” burst of chakra is released all around the user that causes all foreign chakra to be condensed as it approaches the user. Ultimately, the “magnetized” chakra will be drawn into the user’s weapon, effectively concentrating even large scale jutsu into simple, yet still equally powerful, streams or orbs, depending on the incoming techniques composition. This technique can easily be described as turning the user's weapon into a "Chakra Lightning-rod", thus the name.
*The strength of drawn in techniques does not diminish at all, and if the user doesn’t counter the techniques, the chakra will flow into the user’s body via the weapon and do full damage or preform its intended purpose
*Once activated, this remains active for four turns, but it’s effect is only valid while the user is holding a weapon.
*Only useable 4 times per battle.
*This jutsu only effects "non-solid" techniques like Wind, Fire, Lightning, Water, or objects like mud. Techniques with a sturdy molecular composition won't be affected by this technique, such as Earth or Ice, but does nothing to change their effects if they are not dealt with.

Keotsu took a deep breath. He could still hear the sea, still feel the breeze. Feel the supple grass underhand, where his physical body was. This place was beyond his help. It would not change unless it wanted to. But he could give those whom he saw the glimmer, the spark, the flame of hope in his power, so that they could continue to survive. Even Mythos, whose name meant "Blade of Legend" was a three-times reforged form of Keotsu's original sword, Mikomi. "The Blade of Hope."

"Ishiro. I have bestowed upon you most of the power I came to possess. While you do not have the sword I had that made these things a Commander of the battlefield, their power will still benefit you greatly.

Regardless of the Darkness, of the hate, of the pain...Never forsake the light. Fight for what you believe in, and fight for a world of everlasting peace. With these powers, someday, I hope, you can bring forth a world where there is no need to fight."

Keotsu felt his body slipping away from the realm, in a soft, gentle, golden glow, like the sunset over the ocean.

With his spirit leaving this place, Keotsu offered his final words to Ishiro.

"Go, and do not falter, my child."

As the world around Ishiro starts to fade, what appears to be the final chapter in this quest of knowledge. Ishiro sees as his mentor starts fading away, to where ever life takes him from her. Ishiro wanting to say a final word decides not to speak as he says it as not the time. We will meet again someday master Keotsu...Thank you for bestowing me a power that only a pure of heart swordsman wishes to be granted. With this now over, Ishiro starts fading into the air as well, off to another adventure across the world. To make a new destiny!
