Custom element English name:
Chalk Release

The element is based on:
Earth + Water + Wind

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):
The fact that this element is possible, and does exist is the fact that Natural chalk is found in aquatic conditions such as in underwater deposits, While Chalk is one of earth's minerals that can also be found in thick layers, both on and below the ground.. It is formed by the gradual build up of minute calcite plates that have been shed from micro-organisms called coccolithophores.. As in narutoverse we know that they have major seas, oceans, rivers and they form from under water. Calcium is a part of daily life being in alot of everyday materials Including chalk, For instance Unpurified water Etc. We have seen techniques such as quicklime from an Iwa Ninja, As Quicklime contains a some amount of calcium inside of it, we have seen killer bee use Ink which contains a percentage of calcium in it, We have seen painters inside naruto which paint contains a percentage of calcium. Thus makes me believe chalk is easily among the things that exist in naruto due to it having a large some of calcium inside of it. It was also seen on Part 1. Of naruto a chalk board and chalk on the chalk stand, with letters written on the chalk board, making me believe chalk indeed does exist

How it works:
The user will mix 3 elements, Water, Wind, and Earth into either the ground, a water source (Due to chalk forming in oceans etc) or the body. The user channel their earth chakra into the ground to manipulate the sedimentary rocks of the earth mixing their chakra into it while using shape manipulation. The wind and water act as the weathering property for the earth while manipulating it turning the rock into chalk. This will come to the creation of Chalk. The same application applies on a water source except the user use the water as the main source and channel earth and wind to create the weathering phase to create chalk. The same process would take place Due to chalk also being able to form underwater, the user can also manipulate and follow the same steps to making chalk on land on water, except the user will use less water chakra and more earth and wind to cause, and manipulate the weathering of the rock to form chalk. This will allow chalk to be able to form on/under water also. While creating chalk from the body, the user simply use a balanced portion of wind, water, and earth combining them creating chalk.

Primary Use:
This Element is use in versatile ways but mainly in the main way as Earth. For Strong Offensive, and Defensive purposes. When Chalk goes against something of harder substance it breaks down into chalk powder, the chalk powder can not be manipulated, but it can be used as a distraction for other uses such as an escape or even to cause coughing though it is not hazardous

Secondary Use:
Chalk is use as writing material, thus allowing the user to use chalk in a animation type style similar to sais ink. But instead of drawing on a piece of paper, the user has to draw on a hard surface, thus creating the animation side of this element. By doing this, the user will create an animation and use the confirmation handseal at all times pooling chakra into the creation.

Is weak to:
Earth & Any Element Strong to earth (Steel, Iron, Wood, etc)- Chalk is one of the weakest types of rock. Easily able to be broke apart
Lightning & Lightning Base Elements (Storm, etc) - Lightning bad

Is strong against:
Wind and Wind Based Elements: Even though Chalk is a form of earth, it being weak, a stronger wind technique could overpower it (If it carries force). If not, then chalk overpowers wind (Only if solid, powder chalk would be weak)
Water & Water based C: If solid, Chalk would act as Earth would when interacting with Water. Powdered chalk would mix with water coagulating it breaking it's form and control.

Neutral:
Fire: Chalk normally doesn't melt unless heated to a very high degree
Scorch: Even though scorch is very hot, its no more than hot air that carries very little momentum

Custom element English name: Dough Release

The element is based on: Earth + Fire + Water

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): Dough, as a substance, has been shown to exist in the Narutoverse, either through multiple cuisines using dough as a base, or through dough itself being explicitly shown. In episode, dough is eplicitly shown.
How it works: Dough is an element achieved through the mixture of the fire, earth, and water elemental natures. It is of a yellowish white colour. Alternatively, a user can manipulate existing dough to their liking. The element is viscoelastic, with a high strain tolerance, meaning that the element can stretch upon physical contact, wrapping the object and stopping its movement. Due to the dough being chakra empowered this ability is fully expanded upon, giving the element the characteristic of being able to almost immediately stop any physical/solid contact it goes up against. This translates to a strength against solid based and solid-like objects. In this state the element is in the typical form of dough, being 'mushy' and sponge-like. This also results in a strength against liquid based substances, as dough would prevent their progress and suck them up. This also expands to encompass mist like substances and gasses due to the very nature of dough. The element is also capable of rapidly expanding its size while still maintaining its characteristics.

Despite it being mostly defensive, the dough element does have an offensive based aspect. The user can change the elements normal state to a more solid like quality. In this state dough would be somehwhat brittle and stiff. However, through minute chakra control, layer upon layer is stacked upon eachother, making the element tough and durable. Giving it more 'brute strength' capabilities.

The element would normally combine the two aspects of the element into a single technique for maximum versatility and power.

Description: After two hand seals the user would raise a pillar of dough from beneath the target, the pillar would engulf the target, trapping them in an air tight prison of dough. The user can then choose to cause solid dough spikes to emerge from all over the dough prison, the spikes would pierce into the trapped target.

Conditions to be able to use it: Mastery over Fire, Earth, and Water.

Is weak to: Lightning and Wind.

Lightning's sharpness can easily go through the dough, and wind's potent abilty to cut through objects can also overcome the dough.

Is strong against: Earth, solid, and solid-like/based elements. Water, liquids, and mist/gas based elements. Depsite Lightning and Wind being weaknesees the element is strong against Sound.

Since dough can be a very thick substance and due to how it works, it stops solid-like based elements like Earth and such. It is also effective against liquids, as it has a natural ability to absorb water and its other various forms and variations such as mist/gas and the like. Due to the thickness and absolute defense dough can provide, it also is strong against Sound based attacks.

it becomes possible to consider that dough can be used as an element, albeit one more unique and developed than simply manipulating a piece of gum for instance. This uniqueness and gained abilities could be compared to other organic elements such as wood release.

Additionally Dough should be considered a quite versatile element, as it can be produced through organic terrains, released through the body, or simply use 'Dough chakra' to produce the element out of thin air, somewhat similar to fire release, water release, and some earth release techniques. This can be allotted to using water molecules in the surrounding air as a base from which the Dough chakra would 'corrupt' and build on to produce actual dough. This would be no different from a water user's usage of said air molecules in terms of practicality.

What sets dough apart from other comparable elements is the innate ability of absorbing chakra, albeit in a 'limited' fashion. This ability stems from the fact that two of it's three constituent elements all have chakra absorbing qualities, such as Jirobo's Earth Prison of Magnificent Nothingness, and numerous water based techniques. This trait, when combined with dough's innate function of absorbing in liquid and liquid-like bodies, and cushioning solid based ones, allow for the chakra absorbing abilities to be fully built upon. (To be submitted as a standalone reference or/and infusion technique)

Is strong against: Earth, solid, and solid-like/based elements. Water, liquids, and mist/gas based elements. Despite Lightning and Wind being weaknesees the element is strong against Sound, as sound, and other wave/frequency based elements would not be sufficient to overcome the innate porous nature of Dough Release. For instance a sound wave would be nullified and 'broken down' as it clashes with the multiple layers of dough that are built atop each other.

Since dough can be a very thick substance and due to how it works upon physical contact, it stops solid-like based elements like Earth and such. It is also effective against liquids, as it has a natural ability to absorb water and its other various forms and variations such as mist/gas and the like.

Custom element English name: Purification Release

The element is based on: Fire + Water + Lightning + Medical Ninjutsu

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): Medical Ninjutsu in itself can also be used offensively, witnessed in Kabuto Yakushi's use of chakra scalpels in battle, overriding his opponents body with medical chakra and Tsunade has also demonstrated the ability to use medical ninjutsu offensively as shown when she attempted to use medical ninjutsu to kill Orochimaru. Fire, water, and electricity are all associated purity in one way or another. Fire and heat burn, melt and evaporate several substances, effectively separating them by physical characteristics, such as melting and evaporation temperatures. So by combining these effects and elements with Medical Ninjutsu it will be possible to enhanced it to be come a full blown element that creates energy that discriminates between targets and manipulates it.

How it works: Purification Release is an advanced nature Kekkei Tōta that combines fire, lighning and water-based chakra to create energy that discriminates between targets and manipulates it. Most of techniques generated by the Purification Release have medicinal properties and some of the them are used to improve or enhance the Mystical Palm Technique's effects and other Medicial Ninjutsu. Even so, the Purification Release also generates offensive techniques. Purification Release's ninjutsu are techniques which can be used to discriminate between targets, for example, harming only certain individuals, or else targeting only specific materials, at user discretion. Fire, water, and electricity are all associated purity in one way or another. Fire and heat burn, melt and evaporate several substances, effectively separating them by physical characteristics, such as melting and evaporation temperatures.

Description: Although it has no healing properties as the Mystical Palm Technique, this technique is able to set aside any discomfort if used in a supplementary way. Generating a luminous circle around the desired area, the user is capable of alleviating the pain of anyone, serving as an anesthetic or pacified any uncomfortable feeling such as nausea or dizziness. If used in an offensive manner, the user will generate the same luminous circle around their target, which, instead of nullifying all the pain generated by an injury, will release all the impurities collected over time, forcing the target to suffer all pain once relieved by this technique. Thus, the victim will feel in the affected area an attack of consecutive pain, which can lead to fainting (due to the pain sensation generated) or convulsions. Using this technique offensively, but in a milder form, the user is able to generate nausea on their victims, forcing them to vomit.

Description: With this technique the user can invoke a dome of energy that will protect it from any attack of the enemy. The dome of energy will remain raised until the user decides to undo it. While activated, the dome will prevent anyone who the user classifies as "impure" to penetrate it, so it will repel any attack that the same may run against it and if there is direct contact with the dome and the enemy, it will have part of its chakra sucked into the dome. Those who the user classify as "pure" may cross the dome without suffering damages.

Facts that Prove the Element to be Possible (In the Manga Context)

Ether Release is a unique release that was created after observation of how particles/waves act when passing through mediums. When sound travels, it changes based on the medium it's in. When light travels, the wave is always constant, but acts differently when passing through different mediums. This can cause the light to be altered in many ways by decreasing/increasing it's wavelength. The point for both is that the medium decides how much of each wave goes through, which can cause a variety of effects, like diffusing the light entirely, changing it's color, speeding up the sound wave, etc.

The idea then arose to utilize a special medium, the very binding force of chakra, specifically designed to interact with chakra. As explained by Yamato, only 5 elements (Fire | Wind | Lightning | Earth | Water) really exist. These elements however all start out as raw chakra, which must then go through Nature Transformation to become an element. Shinobi tend to find the nature which they are most naturally adept with "Chakra Induction Paper", which is highly reactive to chakra. The "Chakra Induction Paper" is made specifically from a tree that is grown and fed with chakra. This allows the paper to react when chakra is run through, even before someone knows how to use Nature Transformation.

In the same way that chakra was fed to the tree to make extremely reactive "Chakra Induction Paper" that is highly sensitive to any chakra current that passes through it, Ether Release works by creating a medium while feeding it with all 5 basic elemental chakras. This creates a Release that looks and acts essentially like a user's raw chakra, but also extremely reactive to other chakra that it interacts with, similar to the "Chakra Induction Paper", allowing the user to diffuse passing chakra in whatever way they see fit.​

How it Works:

As opposed to giving a technique shape first with Shape Transformation and then infusing an element by applying Nature Transformation, the user will instead start by applying Nature Transformation to their raw chakra to properly "feed" the chakra with all the natures. The user can then apply Shape Transformation to the chakra. This converts (or rather reverts) the chakra into it's primordial state, a state where it acts as the very thing that binds chakra to itself. Given it's state being nearly identical to raw chakra, users have a very versatile set of ways to give it form and can shape it like they would ordinary raw chakra. Despite it's similarity, it's entirely unique from standard chakra.

Ether Release's most notable feature is it's reactiveness to chakra, as it wants to bind or unbind chakra. Similar to the "Chakra Induction Paper", it will be inducted with the elemental nature (so long as it is chakra-based) of which it is in close proximity too. This heightens the ratio of the balanced Ether with said element, while still maintaining the presence of the other elements within it. Then, depending on how it was shaped, Ether Release will be able to interact with the opposing chakra based force (whether it be an attack, entity, construct, etc.) and either weaken the flow of chakra within it by making the medium harder to move past, or imbue the attack to increase it's effectiveness changing it's composition by altering the "wavelength" of the chakra. At more advanced levels, Ether can be used to even entirely diffuse the chakra that goes through it, or prevent it from passing through it in the first place, still following strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, While Yin and Yang Chakra also exist, they are not necessary for this Release, but both and ONLY both together can be incorporated as well if the user is capable (Y/Y Master) and thereby increase it's S/W by a factor of one.

As a result of it's composition and reactiveness, users of Ether Release are able to naturally sense chakra and it's nature change and even determine an individual's affinity. Specialists of this release can choose to utilize Ether Release Chakra in lieu of raw chakra based techniques, such as Slicing Crimson Wave. This does not allow them to augment elemental Ninjutsu, merely raw-chakra based techniques.​

Description: After performing a number of handseals, the user will focus their Ether Chakra to create a large fractal-like construct of varying size from the ground or in the air. The construct will then remain present on the field, with the user being able to change it's position at a whim. Once created, the user can then proceed to use other techniques, as it can remain on it's own. The construct was designed to shift the nature of chakra that passes through it. This works in a two step process.

(Atsumeru) Collect — Whatever chakra-based attack passes through it will first be neutralized by the Ether chakra matching the nature of the passing chakra and absorbing it. This leaves the technique passing through to be in it's same state Shape Transformation wise, but in purely raw chakra.

(Sanran) Scatter — This stage will endow the passing technique with a separate elemental nature still present within the Ether construct. The technique will then be refracted in a different direction. This causes the same exact technique to exit out through the fractal-like construct in effect, ability, and shape, but merely as a different nature, such as an exploding fireball turning into a ball of water that makes a comparably large splash to match the explosion. Should the user choose, they can object to endowing the technique with an element.​

Given that the construct is composed with the base elements within it, using one of the elements exhausts it from the technique and prevents it from being used again. This means if the Ether construct used Fire and Water Nature, it no longer has that residing in it, and would not be able to neutralize or change techniques to Fire and Water again. This also means that it Fire and Water techniques would not pass through the construct, but rather damage the construct. The Ether construct does not weaken from techniques passing through it, but will be damaged normally by techniques that do not pass through it. Additionally, if an elemental technique is stronger than or equal to this technique in terms of rank (following strengths and weaknesses) from the start will not pass through the construct, but damage it normally.

Description: After becoming so adept in the use of Ether Release, the user's own chakra network begins to naturally react and adapt to elemental chakra. The perfect balance of all five elemental natures makes it so any nearby chakra can cause a reaction that shift the balance of internal elements in the user's chakra network, which the user becomes aware of. However, the true reaction occurs when the user is within short-range of elemental chakra. Kneading, converting, and releasing elemental chakra within short-range of a user will cause a shift in their own body's chakra network to match said elemental chakra. This includes advanced elements and customs elements like. The user's network remains in constant flux as different natures pass by it. Once the chakra is out of range, the user's chakra immediately resets back to how it was before. However, the user can choose to match and maintain a certain ratio should they choose.

(Rokku) Lock — At any point, the user can perform a single handseal (one or two handed) to focus their network to memorize and retain the specific ratio of elemental chakra their body adapted to. (Counts as a Move) This grants the user the ability to use that specific ratio of nature transformation on their own, in addition to their other known elements, essentially giving users the ability to utilize elements that would otherwise be unaccessible to them.

(Anrokku) Unlock — After holding their newly matched chakra, the user can perform a single handseal (one or two handed) to relax their chakra network and no longer retain the specific ratio of elemental chakra it adapted to. (Counts as a Move) At this point, the user no longer loses chakra per turn from holding the specific ratio.​

Due to their inexperience with any advanced release though, users can not perform any actual techniques, but are able to release simple forms of the elements as streams, projectiles, or constructs. This is akin to the "Greater [Element] Release Technique." (Counts as an A-Rank Move) Users are also unable to lock onto elements that utilize additional abilities that the user does not have, such as Iryojutsu or Fuinjutsu. Also, after unlocking a release, the user can not return to match that chakra nature on their own. They must be within the presence of said release again in order to lock back in to the same element.

Note: Lock and Unlock can only be used thrice per battle

Conditions to be Able to Use it

Base 5 Mastery — Due to Ether Release's delicate and adaptable shift in natures, users need to be extremely precise in the way they handle each nature. As such, nothing but total and equal balance between each nature transformation is necessary. The result means the user loses any opportunity to be a Primary Elemental Specialist of the Base 5 Elements, but is able to perform all Base 5 Element Releases at a faster rate in regards to handseals.

Sannin Rank — The bare minimum requirement for this requires Sannin Rank to be able to utilize this release. Only Kage and Sage ranked individuals are able to specialize in the release however.​
Is Strong Against

Base 5 Elements — As Ether is composed of all 5 Base Elements, and is specifically capable of reacting to a single element that it interacts with while maintaining traces of the other elements, Ether is naturally stronger than any of the Base 5 Elements alone.

Senjutsu Chakra — Ether Release is able to overpower raw Senjutsu Chakra in much the same way it can ordinary elements. However, Senjutsu enhanced Elemental Chakra is actually able to match up and be on par with Ether Release.​



Is Weak Against

Advanced Elements — Due to Ether Release's tendency to react to elemental chakra, in the presence of elements that utilize more than one chakra, the reaction becomes too intense and is hard to maintain. The Ether has trouble to react and shift to two or more natures at once, causing it to lose it's foundation.

Custom Elements — In much the same way as Ether Release's weakness to Advanced Elements, Custom Elements of any kinda pose a trouble to Ether Release. This is due to Ether Release's focus on ordinary basic elemental chakra. Custom Elements, even with a single element as it's foundation simply change the actual base element too much for Ether to properly react to it.​



Is Neutral Against

Advanced Ninjutsu — As Ether Release is composed of the Base 5 Elements, and is made to react to those five elements, it does not react in any special way to the likes of Ninjutsu like Ink, Smoke, or Poison.

Kekkei Genkai — Similar to Advanced Ninjutsu, Ether Release does not react in any special way towards Kekkei Genkai that aren't created with elemental shifts, like Dead Bone Pulse.

Yin/Yang/Yin-Yang — Simply put, the composition of all five chakra natures allows Ether Release to stand on par with the high physical and spiritual energy based chakra releases.

Just because you do one first does not mean it creates a new element. We do this exact process via customs that manipulate raw chakra or infuse elemental affinities into existing chakra structures. Everything after the first paragraph under How It works doesn't make sense in regards to CE and reads as if you created a new ability in its entirety and not an element. ¤

The element is based on: Earth + Water + Advanced Chakra Control

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):

We have seen numerous foods in the Narutoverse specifically things like Dango that are covered in a sugar. Considering that combining earth and water nature's can produce trees, wood and plants, it's not unreasonable to assume that they can produce sugar as well. Another example of nature manipulation on an advanced element nature would be canonical Mud release, Lava release etc.

How it works:

Sugar is the generic name for sweet, soluble carbohydrates, many of which are used in food.
Sugars are found in the tissues of most plants and are present in sugarcane and sugar beet in sufficient concentrations for efficient commercial extraction. Sugar can be broken down into two basic groups. Monosaccharides and Disaccharides. Monosaccharides are simple sugars like glucose or what our bodies use for energy. Disaccharides are when two simple sugars (aformentioned mono's) combine to form a crystalline lattice. This is your every day table sugar etc.
Sugar has quite a few uses, the primary that we use it for a form of energy. there are a few other uses such as flavouring, salt curing, pickling etc.
Sugar as well is a fantastic killer of micro-organisms, fungi and virus's. The reason being that sugar moves water via osmosis on a cellular level dehydrating and killing off the cells.

In context of NB RP;
Using one's earth and water chakra similar to wood release, one is able to create sugar from the combination of elemental chakra that is earth and water, as well as shape manipulatioWithout shape manipulation sugar release is just a monosaccharide, glucose, and in an unrefined form. ¤ Declined, better now. Things to point out, the italicized portion; this sentence is problematic and can cause issues in the future with submissions so I'll be clear now: Sugar Release will be a crystalline substance. This can be used like sand, or as earth but the uses that detail cellular sized sugar will be closely monitored and will never be offensive at that size. In regards to S/W, whether or not Fire destroys Sugar comes down to the rank interaction between the two, i.e. if Fire is strong enough, the entire Sugar is being burned away. The Wind strength wording is problematic as well, simplify it into just stating it's crystalline structure makes it harder for the Wind to break it. I'm also not sure how it's strong to Water as you even note how easily it saturates into it. If anything Fire and Water are definite weaknesses

Facts that Prove the Element to be Possible (in the manga context):

Photon particles are, essentially, energy packets. These particles, which are invisible to the naked eye, are naturally quite permeable to energy, such as light, which is a form of electromagnetic energy. Light waves seep into photon particles and are then contained within them whilst excess energy is released and creates visible light. Obviously, photons exist in the NV, as they are the main units of matter through which light is transmitted in the universe. As an energy form, chakra has been proven many times to be capable of altering and manipulating all kinds of matter down to the atomic level. The best example of this is seen in the form of Jinton, lit. Particle Release, which is an element that functions by forcibly disassembling matter through direct manipulation of particles within a given area. All elemental forms of Ninjutsu that require chakra involve manipulation of matter on the atomic level in order to achieve a desired phenomenon. Another example, Fire Release, involves the use of chakra to stimulate and excite the atoms it is exposed to in the air, which produces heat, allowing the user to expel that chakra as Fire. Lightning Release follows similar logic and process, though the element possesses distinct effects from Fire due to slight differences in how the chakra is stimulated, instead producing intense oscillations that allow the energy to visibly manifest as Lightning. Different processes are followed for the different elements, but they all follow the same fundamental concept of atomic manipulation. Thus, it is possible for the manipulation required for this element to be achieved.​

How It Works:

Under normal circumstances, photon particles would not directly interact with each other, since they only contain quantities of energy and release excess whilst travelling at high speeds. But by utilising chakra, one is able to force these particles closer together, establishing a link between the otherwise loose photons. Chakra, in this case, would facilitate the conduction and linkage between photons. This phenomenon results in the photons behaving not as countless individual particles, but as a collective unit of them. The photons are then charged with Lightning chakra that creates volatile energy. The natural ability of photons to contain energy, in tandem with Wind Release, shape manipulation and slight compression of the energy, allows the photons to contain the energy without releasing it involuntarily.

The most basic applications of this element allow the user to create beams, waves, streams, and constructs made of highly intense energy, since the user has direct control over how the particles behave. The energy contained within the particles in usages of this element may range from shapeless torrents, beams, waves and blasts made of plasma, to more compressed shapes such as cubes and other prisms. The energy of this element is capable of administering lethal burns and electrocution, and is able to pierce and punch through solid matter. When manifested, the element appears as a mass of shining turquoise, crackling and sizzling with energy. This name ‘Dendera Light’ refers to the radiant light that is created by the energy contained within the countless photon particles manipulated to create it.

Dendera Light Release can be considered as being made of two components; the photons which are naturally occurring, and the potent energy (created and provided by the user) which is condensed so that it can be contained within the photons. It is the photons, which are highly permeable to energy, that can freely accumulate energy within themselves when encountering outside energy sources such as techniques. Advanced techniques of the element would allow for the user to take advantage of this natural permeability in this way, which will be elaborated on in a later CEJ. This natural affinity will only be seen in basic techniques as simple advantage in clashes with certain other elements (e.g. B - Rank Dendera Light = A - Rank Fire Release).​

Description: This technique encompasses the most basic applications of Dendera Light Release by utilising it to create attacks which possess a state of matter closer to that of flames, e.g. waves, beams, blasts. By manipulating photon particles, the user is capable of forming basic attacks of varying shapes and sizes. This energy can be released directly from the user, or through the ground, or in the air. When releasing it in the air or from the ground, it cannot be manifested within short-range of the opponent, unless the user is also within short-range. The rapid heating of the area where Dendera Light is being created serves as a warning to anyone who is within that same area. When manifested, the energy possesses extreme heat, and is enough to easily scorch matter it comes into contact with. In addition, it can be compressed to the point of being able to punch through solid matter. At its weakest, it will cause minor electrical burns, and at its strongest, can cause lethal electrocution and scorching of the body. B-Rank and higher usages will require handseals (B - 1 , A - 2 , S - 3), but otherwise possess no usage restrictions. The S-Rank usage can be performed 4 times per battle and cannot be used in consecutive turns.
Kōshiton: Uchū no Yoake – Dendera Light Release: Cosmic Dawn
Type: Offensive / Defensive / Supplementary

Description: Similarly to Primeval Light, this jutsu deals with basic applications of Dendera Light, though this technique encompasses usage of its more compressed, plasma state. The user is able to perform basic shapes and attacks, though unlike Primeval Light, constructs can be created through this technique, whether to be used as melee weapons or fired from afar. In the same vein as Primeval Light, constructs may be created anywhere on the battlefield, except for within short-range of the opponent, unless the user is also within short-range of them, and the rapid heating of the area where a construct is made serves to warn anyone nearby of its manifestation. Due to the energy being highly compressed, it does not flow or stream like flames, but crackles and tears through matter as it moves unless specifically shaped into a construct. It is more akin to Lightning Release in this sense. It easily rends flesh and bone, destroying solid matter it comes into contact with. These constructs possess an aspect of tangibility, meaning that the user is able to create appendages that would assist with mobility. Usages of B-Rank and higher will require seals to be formed (B - 1 , A - 2 , S - 3), but otherwise possess no restrictions. S-Rank usages can be performed 4 times per battle and cannot be used in consecutive turns.
Kōshiton: Taiyō no Shisha – Dendera Light Release: Celestial Emissary
Type: Offensive / Defensive / Supplementary
Rank: D - S

Chakra: 10 - 40 (-10 per turn)
Damage: 20 - 80
Description: Celestial Emissary allows the user to create familiars composed of Dendera Light in either it’s flame-like or plasma-like state (as stated in the descriptions of Primeval Light and Cosmic Dawn). These familiars possess an extent of sentience that, though limited, allows them to act independently from or at the command of the user. Their shape and size are at the behest of the user, and can be made to fight directly alongside the user as smaller humanoid figures or as slightly larger beings, or shaped according to whatever purpose the user desires. These familiars are able to utilise Dendera Light techniques up to their own rank, with techniques equal to their rank being usable once per turn (e.g. an A-Rank familiar can only use A-Rank Dendera Light or below, and can only use a single A-Rank per turn), and unrestricted use of lower ranked techniques. The shapes of the familiars themselves are subject to manipulation by the user even after they are created, being able to shape certain parts of themselves into appendages resembling weapons etc. Familiars of B-Rank and higher require seals (B - 1 , A - 2 , S - 3) and have a turn duration on A-Rank and above usages (A-Rank - 4 turns, S-Rank - 3 turns). Once dispelled, after utilising either an A or S-Rank familiar, this technique cannot be used again for one turn to create a familiar above B-Rank strength. The A-Rank usage can be performed thrice per battle, whilst an S-Rank usage can be performed twice per battle.

Liquid-based Elements – As light travels into water, the tightly-bound molecules of the water naturally refract and weakens the energy within photons. The quality of being able to absorb and store energy is greatly hindered in water, and photons will quickly lose any retained energy present within them when exposed to bodies of water and other liquids due to their density. The chakra within Water-based techniques is difficult for photons to effectively absorb, and naturally erodes the chakra control which stabilises the element in its energy state.​

Facts that Prove the Element to be Possible (in the manga context):

Photon particles are, essentially, energy packets. These particles, which are invisible to the naked eye, are naturally quite permeable to energy, such as light, which is a form of electromagnetic energy. Light waves seep into photon particles and are then contained within them whilst excess energy is released and creates visible light. Obviously, photons exist in the NV, as they are the main units of matter through which light is transmitted in the universe. As an energy form, chakra has been proven many times to be capable of altering and manipulating all kinds of matter down to the atomic level. The best example of this is seen in the form of Jinton, lit. Particle Release, which is an element that functions by forcibly disassembling matter through direct manipulation of particles within a given area. All elemental forms of Ninjutsu that require chakra involve manipulation of matter on the atomic level in order to achieve a desired phenomenon. Another example, Fire Release, involves the use of chakra to stimulate and excite the atoms it is exposed to in the air, which produces heat, allowing the user to expel that chakra as Fire. Lightning Release follows similar logic and process, though the element possesses distinct effects from Fire due to slight differences in how the chakra is stimulated, instead producing intense oscillations that allow the energy to visibly manifest as Lightning. Different processes are followed for the different elements, but they all follow the same fundamental concept of atomic manipulation. Thus, it is possible for the manipulation required for this element to be achieved.​

How It Works:

Under normal circumstances, photon particles would not directly interact with each other, since they only contain quantities of energy and release excess whilst travelling at high speeds. But by utilising chakra, one is able to force these particles closer together, establishing a link between the otherwise loose photons. Chakra, in this case, would facilitate the conduction and linkage between photons. This phenomenon results in the photons behaving not as countless individual particles, but as a collective unit of them. The photons are then charged with Lightning chakra that creates volatile energy. The natural ability of photons to contain energy, in tandem with Wind Release, shape manipulation and slight compression of the energy, allows the photons to contain the energy without releasing it involuntarily.

The most basic applications of this element allow the user to create beams, waves, streams, and constructs made of highly intense energy, since the user has direct control over how the particles behave. The energy contained within the particles in usages of this element may range from shapeless torrents, beams, waves and blasts made of plasma, to more compressed shapes such as cubes and other prisms. The energy of this element is capable of administering lethal burns and electrocution, and is able to pierce and punch through solid matter. When manifested, the element appears as a mass of shining turquoise, crackling and sizzling with energy. This name ‘Dendera Light’ refers to the radiant light that is created by the energy contained within the countless photon particles manipulated to create it.

Dendera Light Release can be considered as being made of two components; the photons which are naturally occurring, and the potent energy (created and provided by the user) which is condensed so that it can be contained within the photons. It is the photons, which are highly permeable to energy, that can freely accumulate energy within themselves when encountering outside energy sources such as techniques. Advanced techniques of the element would allow for the user to take advantage of this natural permeability in this way, which will be elaborated on in a later CEJ. This natural affinity will only be seen in basic techniques as simple advantage in clashes with certain other elements (e.g. B - Rank Dendera Light = A - Rank Fire Release).​

Description: Similarly to Primeval Light, this jutsu deals with basic applications of Dendera Light, though this technique encompasses usage of its more compressed, plasma state. The user is able to perform basic shapes and attacks, though unlike Primeval Light, constructs can be created through this technique, whether to be used as melee weapons or fired from afar. In the same vein as Primeval Light, constructs may be created anywhere on the battlefield, except for within short-range of the opponent, unless the user is also within short-range of them, and the rapid heating of the area where a construct is made serves to warn anyone nearby of its manifestation. Due to the energy being highly compressed, it does not flow or stream like flames, but crackles and tears through matter as it moves unless specifically shaped into a construct. It is more akin to Lightning Release in this sense. It easily rends flesh and bone, destroying solid matter it comes into contact with. These constructs possess an aspect of tangibility, meaning that the user is able to create appendages that would assist with mobility. Usages of B-Rank and higher will require seals to be formed (B - 1 , A - 2 , S - 3), but otherwise possess no restrictions. S-Rank usages can be performed 4 times per battle and cannot be used in consecutive turns.

These familiars possess an extent of sentience that, though limited, allows them to act independently from or at the command of the user. Their shape and size are at the behest of the user, and can be made to fight directly alongside the user as smaller humanoid figures or as slightly larger beings, or shaped according to whatever purpose the user desires. These familiars are able to utilise Dendera Light techniques up to their own rank, with techniques equal to their rank being usable once per turn (e.g. an A-Rank familiar can only use A-Rank Dendera Light or below, and can only use a single A-Rank per turn), and unrestricted use of lower ranked techniques. The shapes of the familiars themselves are subject to manipulation by the user even after they are created, being able to shape certain parts of themselves into appendages resembling weapons etc. Familiars of B-Rank and higher require seals (B - 1 , A - 2 , S - 3) and have a turn duration on A-Rank and above usages (A-Rank - 4 turns, S-Rank - 3 turns). Facts that Prove the Element to be Possible (in the manga context):

This CE combines the two Basic 5 elements of Fire Release and Lightning Release in order to replicate a phenomenon known as ‘upper-atmospheric lightning’. Upper-atmospheric lightning is a form of electrical discharge, only occurring during thunderstorm systems, specifically when lightning with sufficient power emerges from a thundercloud to strike the ground. ‘Sprites’ occur above the thundercloud during a sufficiently powered lightning strike, and are large-scale electrical discharges with a varied range of shapes. Sprites only occur when a buildup of electricity above the thundercloud becomes great enough that, in the instance of a lightning strike, the energy experiences a sudden spike and releases a huge electrical discharge. ‘Jets’ occur on the ground during a sufficiently powered lightning strike, and manifest when the positive end of the leader network fills the negative charge region before the negative end fills the positive charge region, causing the positive leader to exit the cloud, where the lightning is generated, and propagate upwards.

The initial lightning strike must generate enough charge within the clouds in order to manifest upper-atmospheric lightning. Thus, in the case of a ninja attempting to harness it, it is required that the energy within the lightning be enhanced by another source. In the NV, we have seen before that the 2 elements required for this CE, Fire Release and Lightning Release, are capable of generating particular atmospheric conditions and manipulating them to create techniques revolving around lightning. For example, when Uchiha Sasuke utilised Fire Release: Great Dragon Fire to heat the atmosphere and generate thunderclouds, and Lightning Release: Chidori to harness the natural lightning and form Lightning Release: Kirin. There are also Lightning Release jutsu which are able to generate lightning strikes on command, e.g. Lightning Release: Fangs of Lightning. As such, it is feasible for one to create the suitable conditions necessary to manifest the element.​

How It Works:

Using Lightning Release, the base component for Dendera Light is created. Using Fire Release to suddenly spike the ambient temperature of where Lightning Release would be generated, and the lightning itself, would increase the total amount of energy present within the lightning to the point where it can become upper-atmospheric lightning. The timing is extremely precise, as naturally occurring upper-atmospheric lightning is only generated in the same instant as a lightning strike, and Dendera Light seeks to recreate that exact process, making it very difficult to master. The element will manifest as a wispy substance akin to that of flames, which, through shape manipulation, can be compressed to create a more tangible form. Thus, the number of forms the user can create with this element range from streams and waves resembling flames to more complex shapes, all composed of plasma.

The name ‘Dendera Light’ is derived from the radiant colors that the element gives off. When creating this element, the air where chakra is being concentrated and manipulated is ionised, resulting in the chakra giving off light. Normally, the element would exude either blue or red colors, but the user’s chakra, based on its specific wavelengths and frequencies, is able to influence the color given off by the energy. As such, the user is able to make the element emanate any color they desire that exists on the visible light spectrum. This is a cosmetic feature, and doesn’t alter or inhibit any of the functions or abilities of Dendera Light.

Dendera Light is a particularly unique variant of Lightning, in the sense that the element itself is much cooler than that of normal lightning. Upper-atmospheric lightning, the phenomenon Dendera Light replicates, is noted to be different from normal lightning, what is known as tropospheric lightning. This is because, when produced, the electrons have a much higher temperature than that of the present ions and neutrals. This leads to the creation of a gas which has much lower temperatures due to drastically lower thermal energy, reaching as low as 30° C. Though, it should be noted that the temperature is only considered as “low” compared to temperatures normally seen in lightning (30000° C), and is still able to reach temperatures of 70 - 100° C, which can still be quite harmful to a human. In terms of interacting with elements, the heat which is naturally generated through the ionization of the air as it travels or where it is manifested does not play any significant role. One of the most important things to note about Dendera Light is its status as a ‘superconductor of electricity’. Due to its nature as a plasma, it possesses virtually infinite capacity for storing electrical energy; capable of self-sustaining by creating its own energy through intense oscillations and easily drawing in energy from other sources of electricity. When it comes into contact with another substance, Dendera Light’s potent electrical energy will attempt to conduct through and/or permeate it, which will result in the object meeting it being forcefully torn apart and destroyed.​

Wind-based Elements – Though Fire Release is a component of the element, the extent to which the thermal energy of it can be stimulated is almost nil. With the Wind acting as an insulator, the electrical energy will be dispersed easily, with the thermal energy following suit as its container, the electrical energy mass, is destroyed.

Water-based Elements – The thermal energy in Dendera Light, though small in relative amount, it is sufficient to create problems when the electrical energy in the element attempts to conduct in water. The water will naturally erode the chakra control that keeps the Fire Release / thermal energy and Lightning Release / electrical energy together as a single element, as it quenches the Fire Release chakra. This results in the entire element becoming destabilised in the water, dispersing it.​

Is Strong Against:

Lightning-based Elements – Dendera Light is a natural electrical conductor as a plasma, a ‘superconductor’ specifically, meaning that other sources of electricity, e.g. Lightning Release, which it comes into contact with will have its energy partially drawn from it and taken into the energy of Dendera Light, allowing the opposing energy to be overpowered with greater ease. This does not result in the element being strengthened or boosted.

Fire-based Elements – Due to Dendera Light’s high levels of energy, it is also extremely thermally resistant. This allows Dendera Light to ignore the thermal energy of elements such as Fire Release, and disperse them with ease.

Earth-based Elements – Earth Release and elements based on it easily conduct electrical energy, something Dendera Light has an abundance of. Because of this, they are easily broken.​

Facts that Prove the Element to be Possible (In the Manga Context)

Ether Release is a unique release that was created after observation of how particles/waves act when passing through mediums. When sound travels, it changes based on the medium it's in. When light travels, the wave is always constant, but acts differently when passing through different mediums. This can cause the light to be altered in many ways by decreasing/increasing it's wavelength. The point for both is that the medium decides how much of each wave goes through, which can cause a variety of effects, like diffusing the light entirely, changing it's color, speeding up the sound wave, etc.

The idea then arose to utilize a special medium, the very binding force of chakra, specifically designed to interact with chakra. As explained by Yamato, only 5 elements (Fire | Wind | Lightning | Earth | Water) really exist. These elements however all start out as raw chakra, which must then go through Nature Transformation to become an element. Shinobi tend to find the nature which they are most naturally adept with "Chakra Induction Paper", which is highly reactive to chakra. The "Chakra Induction Paper" is made specifically from a tree that is grown and fed with chakra. This allows the paper to react when chakra is run through, even before someone knows how to use Nature Transformation.

In the same way that chakra was fed to the tree to make extremely reactive "Chakra Induction Paper" that is highly sensitive to any chakra current that passes through it, Ether Release works by creating a medium while feeding it with all 5 basic elemental chakras. This creates a Release that looks and acts essentially like a user's raw chakra, but also extremely reactive to other chakra that it interacts with, similar to the "Chakra Induction Paper", allowing the user to diffuse passing chakra in whatever way they see fit.​

How it Works:

As opposed to giving a technique shape first with Shape Transformation and then infusing an element by applying Nature Transformation, the user will instead start by applying Nature Transformation to their raw chakra to properly "feed" the chakra with all the natures. The user can then apply Shape Transformation to the chakra. This converts (or rather reverts) the chakra into it's primordial state, a state where it acts as the very thing that binds chakra to itself. Given it's state being nearly identical to raw chakra, users have a very versatile set of ways to give it form and can shape it like they would ordinary raw chakra. Despite it's similarity, it's entirely unique from standard chakra.

Ether Release's most notable feature is it's reactiveness to chakra, as it wants to bind or unbind chakra. Similar to the "Chakra Induction Paper", it will be inducted with the elemental nature (so long as it is chakra-based) of which it is in close proximity too. This heightens the ratio of the balanced Ether with said element, while still maintaining the presence of the other elements within it. Then, depending on how it was shaped, Ether Release will be able to interact with the opposing chakra based force (whether it be an attack, entity, construct, etc.) and either weaken the flow of chakra within it by making the medium harder to move past, or imbue the attack to increase it's effectiveness changing it's composition by altering the "wavelength" of the chakra. (Atsumeru) Collect — Whatever chakra-based attack passes through it will first be neutralized by the Ether chakra matching the nature of the passing chakra and absorbing it. This leaves the technique passing through to be in it's same state Shape Transformation wise, but in purely raw chakra.

(Sanran) Scatter — This stage will endow the passing technique with a separate elemental nature still present within the Ether construct. The technique will then be refracted in a different direction. This causes the same exact technique to exit out through the fractal-like construct in effect, ability, and shape, but merely as a different nature, such as an exploding fireball turning into a ball of water that makes a comparably large splash to match the explosion. Should the user choose, they can object to endowing the technique with an element.​

Given that the construct is composed with the base elements within it, using one of the elements exhausts it from the technique and prevents it from being used again. This means if the Ether construct used Fire and Water Nature, it no longer has that residing in it, and would not be able to neutralize or change techniques to Fire and Water again. This also means that it Fire and Water techniques would not pass through the construct, but rather damage the construct. The Ether construct does not weaken from techniques passing through it, but will be damaged normally by techniques that do not pass through it. Additionally, if an elemental technique is stronger than or equal to this technique in terms of rank (following strengths and weaknesses) from the start will not pass through the construct, but damage it normally.

Description: After becoming so adept in the use of Ether Release, the user's own chakra network begins to naturally react and adapt to elemental chakra. The perfect balance of all five elemental natures makes it so any nearby chakra can cause a reaction that shift the balance of internal elements in the user's chakra network, which the user becomes aware of. However, the true reaction occurs when the user is within short-range of elemental chakra. Kneading, converting, and releasing elemental chakra within short-range of a user will cause a shift in their own body's chakra network to match said elemental chakra. This includes advanced elements and customs elements like. The user's network remains in constant flux as different natures pass by it. Once the chakra is out of range, the user's chakra immediately resets back to how it was before. However, the user can choose to match and maintain a certain ratio should they choose.

(Rokku) Lock — At any point, the user can perform a single handseal (one or two handed) to focus their network to memorize and retain the specific ratio of elemental chakra their body adapted to. (Counts as a Move) This grants the user the ability to use that specific ratio of nature transformation on their own, in addition to their other known elements, essentially giving users the ability to utilize elements that would otherwise be unaccessible to them.

(Anrokku) Unlock — After holding their newly matched chakra, the user can perform a single handseal (one or two handed) to relax their chakra network and no longer retain the specific ratio of elemental chakra it adapted to. (Counts as a Move) At this point, the user no longer loses chakra per turn from holding the specific ratio.​

Due to their inexperience with any advanced release though, users can not perform any actual techniques, but are able to release simple forms of the elements as streams, projectiles, or constructs. This is akin to the "Greater [Element] Release Technique." (Counts as an A-Rank Move) Users are also unable to lock onto elements that utilize additional abilities that the user does not have, such as Iryojutsu or Fuinjutsu. Also, after unlocking a release, the user can not return to match that chakra nature on their own. They must be within the presence of said release again in order to lock back in to the same element.

Conditions to be Able to Use it

Base 5 Mastery — Due to Ether Release's delicate and adaptable shift in natures, users need to be extremely precise in the way they handle each nature. As such, nothing but total and equal balance between each nature transformation is necessary. The result means the user loses any opportunity to be a Primary Elemental Specialist of the Base 5 Elements, but is able to perform all Base 5 Element Releases at a faster rate in regards to handseals.

Sannin Rank — The bare minimum requirement for this requires Sannin Rank to be able to utilize this release. Only Kage and Sage ranked individuals are able to specialize in the release however.​
Is Strong Against

Base 5 Elements — As Ether is composed of all 5 Base Elements, and is specifically capable of reacting to a single element that it interacts with while maintaining traces of the other elements, Ether is naturally stronger than any of the Base 5 Elements alone.

Senjutsu Chakra — Ether Release is able to overpower raw Senjutsu Chakra in much the same way it can ordinary elements. However, Senjutsu enhanced Elemental Chakra is actually able to match up and be on par with Ether Release.​



Is Weak Against

Advanced Elements — Due to Ether Release's tendency to react to elemental chakra, in the presence of elements that utilize more than one chakra, the reaction becomes too intense and is hard to maintain. The Ether has trouble to react and shift to two or more natures at once, causing it to lose it's foundation.

Custom Elements — In much the same way as Ether Release's weakness to Advanced Elements, Custom Elements of any kinda pose a trouble to Ether Release. This is due to Ether Release's focus on ordinary basic elemental chakra. Custom Elements, even with a single element as it's foundation simply change the actual base element too much for Ether to properly react to it.​



Is Neutral Against

Advanced Ninjutsu — As Ether Release is composed of the Base 5 Elements, and is made to react to those five elements, it does not react in any special way to the likes of Ninjutsu like Ink, Smoke, or Poison.

Kekkei Genkai — Similar to Advanced Ninjutsu, Ether Release does not react in any special way towards Kekkei Genkai that aren't created with elemental shifts, like Dead Bone Pulse.

Facts that Prove the Element to be Possible (In the Manga Context)

Source Release is a unique release that was created after observation of how particles/waves act when passing through mediums. When sound travels, it changes based on the medium it's in. When light travels, the wave is always constant, but acts differently when passing through different mediums. This can cause the light to be altered in many ways by decreasing/increasing it's wavelength. The point for both is that the medium decides how much of each wave goes through, which can cause a variety of effects, like diffusing the light entirely, changing it's color, speeding up the sound wave, etc.

In this sense, Source Release is the “lost” fifth Fundamental Force along with Gravity, Electromagnetism, Strong, and Weak Nuclear Force. Aside from Gravity acting on all particles, each forces interacts with a specific wave of energy/matter. Source Release acts as the fundamental force that interacts with chakra, and the medium that holds it. All these forces have been seen in the series, and even Gravity and Electromagnetism manipulation has been shown in the series with Rinnegan/Tenseigan techniques, and the Magnet Release KG.

In order to effectively create a medium that is designed to alter the course of chakra passing through it, the medium itself would need to be reactive to chakra, as well as be able to control it’s own density (and subsequently, it’s mass and volume). We have seen chakra that is reactive to other forms of chakra, by things like Chakra Induction Paper or even sensory. Additionally, we have seen chakra being capable of altering the density, mass, and volume of whatever it interacts within techniques like the Akimichi’s HA and the Earth Release abilities of Onoki that made things lighter or heavier by choice. Chakra itself has also shown to be able to be transformed into many states, like solid, liquids, energy, or even jelly like, just by the fact that Shape Transformation allows one to do so. The Element also focuses on changing ratios of chakra, which has been seen in cases like Tailed Beast Balls, where certain ratios of Positive Black and Negative White chakra must be met for specific techniques.

How it Works:

The user will start by applying all 5 Elemental Nature Transformations to their raw chakra to properly "feed" chakra with all the natures. Then, using their chakra control, they blend all 5 ratios into a perfectly equal balance. Feeding their chakra with all these elements will blend the new element with all the properties of chakra. Since all other chakra-based jutsu are derived from basic chakra and/or the Basic 5 Elements, Source Release would now effectively be able to react and manipulate any chakra based technique because it shares their properties. Given it's state being nearly identical to raw chakra, albeit with a more vibrant “glow”, users have a very versatile set of ways to give it form and can shape it like they would ordinary raw chakra.

Source Release's most notable feature is it's reactiveness to chakra, as it wants to bind or unbind chakra. Similar to the "Chakra Induction Paper", it will be inducted with the elemental nature (so long as it is chakra-based) of which it is in close proximity too. This heightens the ratio of the balanced Source with said element, while still maintaining the presence of the other elements within it. Then, depending on how it was shaped, Source Release will be able to interact with the opposing chakra based force (whether it be an attack, entity, construct, etc.) and either weaken the flow of chakra within it by making the medium harder to move past, or imbue the attack to increase it's effectiveness changing it's composition by altering the "wavelength" of the chakra. Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):
Bismuth is a metal that is found naturally underground and as many other earth-based metals and other elements is proven to exist in the narutoverse just because the fact that the narutoverse is very similar to that of the real world when it comes to both metals and crystalline structures. We have also seen multiple uses in the manga that it is indeed possible to mixture earth chakra to create other metals such as steel and iron sand. Even the cannon crystal release is a proof of that, albeit unknown its origin of elemental. The fact that steel and other metals are already present in the narutoverse should be indicating proofs of the existence of other metals in the earth's surface. In the manga and anime context we can also see the usage of computers and modern technology. Seeming this technology is based on the same technology we have in real life, we can then assume they are built the same. Bismuth is a metal that is used in much computer technology. Since it has an extremely low thermal conductivity, it is used in refrigerators, computers and other usages where lead has been involved in.
How it works:
Bismuth has a very low melting point for being a metal and is one of the few metals, who's density actually increases through the melting process which makes molten bismuth actually more dense that it would be in its solid form. The metal melts at 271.5 °C. That process is made through the use of the fire release as normal fire can extend to a much higher temperature than that. However, just because bismuth melts at 271.5 °C doesn't mean that the release form is going to be that temperature but can actually extend up to 1564 °C, which is bismuth's boiling point. However to achieve that sort of temperature requires a lot of chakra through the use of the fire element. Now, bismuth has three properties that makes it special compared to other metals. First of all, it has one of the lowest the thermal conductivity of all metals. This means that bismuth doesn't conduct temperature nearly as much as other metals, making it very resistant to cold and hot temperatures. A significant parallel to regular steel or iron, which both conducts heat easily. Bismuth is proven to be the most naturally diamagnetic metal there is. If you don't know what that is, diamagnetism is a property of an element that can create its own magnetic fields, meaning it can't easily be affected by other magnetic fields as it has its own one. This also provides an excellent resistance towards magnetic users who can easily manipulate other metals such as iron or gold. Lastly, what sets it unique compared to other metals aside from the low melting point, the low thermal conductivity and ability create its own magnetic fields, bismuth is a very poor electric conductor. This means that electricity won't easily be spread through the metal at all compared to other metals, who are easily cut to pieces through strong currents. Sure, massive amounts of electricity will destroy the metal but it has a certain resistance towards it. As mentioned earlier, the density of bismuth increases through liquid state, which is why it is chosen to be used in that state. Which again, also is quite a unique feature as far as metals go in terms of usage in the ninjaworld of the RP. However, having these features are really incredible as an element but. Bismuth oxides in a solid state as well as in its release form, which is liquid, in contact with oxygen. This can be done through the use of the cannon wind and water releases as both of which contains significantly large amounts of oxygen. This can be seen as a weakness. However, due to the extreme temperature of the liquid bismuth, water will evaporate and remain uncontrollable on impact with the liquid bismuth. This means they are considered neutral towards eachother. Low/high-temperature releases such as ice and lava are considered weak towards the liquid bismuth because of its extremely high resistance to temperature interaction that it gains from its low thermal conductivity. It also means that it is strong towards radiation as well. When it comes to another weakness, the lightning element is indeed strong towards liquid bismuth, even though it has a very high electrical resistance. That is because the focused usage of lightning can cut through the metal, like most of them.

In terms of jutsu application, the element is divided into two uses, depending on the use from an existing earth source or from the users body:

Existing Source Usage: The user will focus the earth and fire chakra to produce bismuth from existing sources of earth. Using the earth element will gather the elements to produce the bismuth while the fire element will be able to turn the metal into a liquid. The bismuth will be formed in underground. Based on the users precision and creativity, pools, seas, waves can be formed by the user through their use of bismuth in its liquid form.

Self Source Creation Usage: The user will focus earth and fire chakra into themselves in order to produce liquid bismuth through exhaling or extrude them from their body. This release is mostly to used in close combat and in aggressive forms of bismuth. But it can also be used in short-notice defensive actions as well.

Physics of Bismuth:

Sound Interaction: Liquid Bismuth is stronger than its solid form. Interfering sound-waves would create a kinetic impact on the element but would fall flat as the element would be able to re-shape back as it is in a solid nature. Because of this, sound could be considered weak towards liquid bismuth as its density is high enough and it is "massaged" by the soundwaves, but not more than that.

Temperature Interaction: As previously stated, bismuth is very resistant on taking on heat as well as cold. It has a very low thermal conductivity and will not spread heat to any other elements or material it touches. This includes the self-regenerated heat it gains from being liquid.

Impact Interaction: Bismuth in its release state is liquid. This means that bismuth will spread large amount of impact through the whole source and won't crack like solid metals, however, it will deform easier. Because the metal is in such a high temperature when used in battle, the heat factor plays a part in taking blunt damage and will burn away most solid elements. Facing matter denser liquid bismuth will consider a weakness towards the release unless the structure of the material has a very unstable formation in temperatures below 1564 °C. Like many metals, bismuth is ageless. However it has a heavy impact on oxidation unlike some heavier metals. It has high resistance to radiation.

Wind contains oxygen, which will oxidase bismuth. Cold usages of wind will not impact bismuth as it won't react much through its low thermal conductivity.

Lightning & Variations
Even though bismuth has a very bad conductivity, the sheer force of concentrated lightning would still pierce through it.

Is strong against:
Water & Variations
Water and most variations will vaporize and lose all form due to the heat the liquid bismuth carries. The weight of the liquid metal is also greater than that of water and will push forward. It goes without saying that snow/ice shares the same fate.

Earth & Variations
Liquid bismuth is both denser and hotter than regular earth and will easily defeat it. Variations of earth - such as weaker minerals/metals etc are also considered weak towards liquid bismuth. Lava and crystal included.

Fire & Variations
Liquid bismuth already contains fire as hot as it can be. Adding more fire to the element will make it more loose in consistency and add more density to the metal, making the metal stronger the hotter it becomes. When it comes to extreme temperatures, liquid bismuth will not be very affected either due to the low thermal conductivity.

Magnetism
Unlike almost all common metals, bismuth creates their own magnetic fields who will cancel out other intercepting magnetic fields by being diamagnetic. The mass and density of the material will then be used to overcome other uses of magnetism. Not only that but when metals are liquid they lose most of their magnetic attractions as well.

Sound
The releases liquid state means that soundwaves will be able to simply massage the bismuth with little effect of actually destroying it. Since liquid bismuth doesn't share same properties as a solid element it can't be considered brittle enough to be shattered by it.

Radiation
Bismuth has a low setting in thermodynamics and is considered strong towards all kinds of radiation. It will simply absorb the radiation waves and nullify them.

Ice
Ice will melt rapidly on contact with liquid bismuth and become vaporized. Due to bismuths low thermal conductivity it will be very resistant to low-temperature techniques such as ice and temperature release itself.

⛧Declined. This has a few contradictions. For one thing, you say that Liquid Bismuth does not share its heat easily, but then go on to describe that it burns and melts things numerous times; I assume you meant to say it does not lose heat easily because being unable to share heat easily stops it from burning other things.

Secondly, as you included per NK's checks, lightning is a strength because of its focused nature. Likewise, focused and condensed energy techniques like the near-solid Fire techs should have the same effect on Bismuth. Also, any element that's extremely high in heat(higher than lava) should be able to affect this CE through heat by getting it to the boiling point.

Water needs to be moved to a neutral, not a weakness. Speaking of which, two weaknesses with 7 strengths that branch off into even more strengths? No. In addition to way too many strengths, they're also too broad. Narrow it down to a shorter and more concise list.⛧

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):
We already know that Chakra can be controlled onto a molecular form via dust release, additionally we know that through lightning manipulation we can also control magnetic forces via chakra. By combining the idea of the two, making anti-protons with earth chakra to create a solid physical source and manipulating chakra on a molecular scale to stabilise the anti-proton, and using lightning based chakra to change the charge of an electron to a positron, one can create anti-matter particles. By creating more antiparticles that clump together, this creates antimatter.

With the advancements in the Boruto era, its likely that by mimicing the technology of the real world, they can achieve similar if not the same creations. Recently, AntiHydrogen was artificially created using a particle accelerator.
Additional sources show that chakra can be used as a source of heat and ignition such as fire release, the ability to transform chakra into energy such as lightning release and wind release, as well as the ability to create substance such as earth release. Using these examples, it would be given that creating anti-matter would be possible.

How it works:
Every molecule has an opposite called an "anti" particle. These anti molecules are the same in shape, weight, look, but carry the opposite charge. In basic terms, when a hydrogen atom has one electron (negative charge) orbiting around a proton, an Anti-hydrogen molecule has a positron (positive charge) orbiting an Anti-proton.

These anti-matter molecules aren't particularly complex or complicated, they're just rare.
A collision between any particle and its anti-particle partner is known to lead to their mutual annihilation, giving rise to various proportions of intense photons (gamma rays), neutrinos, and sometimes less-massive particle–antiparticle pairs.
Annihilation usually results in a release of energy that becomes available for heat or work. The amount of the released energy is usually proportional to the total mass of the collided matter and antimatter, in accord with the mass–energy equivalence equation, E = mc2.

In context of the NBRP
Essentially Anti-matter would be neutral to all the basic 5 elements and an almost purely defensive custom element. By taking away one basic molecule, it would essentially render incoming jutsu powerless, either by removing oxygen from fire as a source, removing hydrogen from water to turn it to gas, carbon from earth, removing the charge from lightning or again oxygen from wind to remove its medium to travel. Anti-matter isn't able to break down complex structures that contain more than one or two types of molecules, but can be useful from allowing oneself to negate purely singular elemental attacks.

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):
Metal foam is made out of any metal that is molten and with added foam/gas it becomes metal foam. There isn't anything in the process of making metal foam that is redundant in the context of the narutoverse, pretty much everything you need to make it has been seen used in the ninja world. Metals, air(or other gases) and even liquefying metal or other earthen materials such as lava.
How it works:
Using the earth release to salvage palladium from the earth's core, the user then heats up the palladium and adds air into the mixture. This then forms metallic foam which will become the release form itself. As a structure it will remind of polystyrene but remain very hard and be able to take on huge amount of force. The fact that the metal now contains a large amount of air inside of it, it also has no problem facing lightning release as the air pockets isolate the conductivity of the lightning itself. When it comes to thermal(heat/cold) conductivity, it remains the same as the level of palladium would have in normal cases. Sound vibrations are also neutralised(within reason) since the air pockets again provides a "defensive" property of the metallic foam. The foam is also very light and flexible, maintaining the same physics as a regular plastic foam but with metallic properties. When elemental nature transformations are clashing with metal foam the interactions differ but with pretty much the same end result. When clashing with lightning, the metal will conduct the electricity but lead the lightning chakra into the air-pockets that are inside the metal, neutralising it. When in clash with water, the metal foam is a double-edged sword as the metal itself would be strong towards water, the air-pockets in the metal will make it light enough for water to push it away. When clashing with wind, the same happens as when clashing with water, the material itself is fine but will easily be pushed back. However, fire will require extreme heats to trigger the metal foam to melt and the gas be ignited, causing explosions. This means that using fire against metal foam as a counter could be dangerous for the user of the fire technique himself. Sharp, extra hard elements can cut through the metal foam but will still face the properties of foam itself, bouncing back most of the kinetic force. Cooling elements will make the metal foam lose its properties of being malleable but it won't be destroyed or lose any strength. There are two ways the user can create the metal foam and the same metal needs to be used all times though; Palladium. The user can mould the
Metarufōmurirīsuton chakra from their body or use the ground as a source for their techniques. When the former is used, the user will combine the attributes of earth, fire and wind to create the process and the metal will be naturally created just like regular earth techniques. It can be expelled like regular, mouth and or hands. There's also the earth-source usage of the technique, which is shared with many solid custom elements. The user will mould their Metarufōmurirīsuton chakra into the ground, using natural palladium in the progress and create metal foam structures to rise from the earth. Like most solid nature types, metal foam will stay on the field til destroyed.

To harness and use Palladium as extensively and specifically as you note here, to the point of producing Palladium from chakra and then further altering it into Metal Foam, you'd need to have Palladium already as a CE and have it be the base of this CE here. Instead of saying that you're creating Palladium or producing EXACTLY what Metal Foam is in real life, you can include in the "How it Works" portion a brief description of what metal foam/palladium is in real life, and then say you're making a fictionalized version using chakra, which is what your CE is(i.e., "I use Earth to act as the physical medium, mimicking the solid, metallic component, and I use Fire's to alter its shape to make spaces and use Wind to fill those spaces with air so they're air bubbles." Once that's done, you can go on to describe how it's applicable in battle. With what you have in the How it Works, it's simply a description of its strengths and weakness. Move that down to S and Ws, and instead describe the physical properties(check) and how those properties affect your usage of the CE in battle.⛧

We see that a variety of advance releases are in the series with magnetic, sand, dust being the key to this custom element. Magnetic forces can be created and manipulated by lightning based chakra, Sand and dust can be manipulated on a fine scale with chakra. Along side the different lava releases such as rubber and quicklime, it can be assumed that using different basic elements, one can change the properties of the earth chakra created.


How it works:

A ferrofluid (portmanteau of ferromagnetic and fluid) is a liquid that becomes strongly magnetized in the presence of a magnetic field. Ferrofluids are colloidal liquids made of nanoscale ferromagnetic, or ferrimagnetic, particles suspended in a carrier fluid (usually an organic solvent or water). Each tiny particle is thoroughly coated with a surfactant to inhibit clumping. Large ferromagnetic particles can be ripped out of the homogeneous colloidal mixture, forming a separate clump of magnetic dust when exposed to strong magnetic fields. The magnetic attraction of nanoparticles is weak enough that the surfactant's Van der Waals force is sufficient to prevent magnetic clumping or agglomeration. Ferrofluids usually do not retain magnetization in the absence of an externally applied field and thus are often classified as "superparamagnets" rather than ferromagnets.

The simplified explanation of this is, super sensetive liquid that reacts to a magnetic field. By combining super fine nanoscale particles of something like iron with a liquid, it can evenly distribute the magnetic force all over creating the unique patterns and shapes you see.

By mixing earth with water natured chakra, one can create the required solid of ferrofluid, while using lightning nature to change its shape and controlling it magnetically.

For a Custom Element, you'd have to alter the water into a new form with new properties that allow it to do something unique. The element is based on: Yin Release + Water Release

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): As the half of Yin/Yang that governs imagination, Yin Release has been noted to allow wielders to create physical form out of nothingness, and is even able to grant impossible qualities to both matter and energy alike. It has been shown that Yin Release is capable of being combined with Nature Elements and other forms of chakra to create techniques with special properties, such as Sasuke's Onyx Chidori and the Lightning Dispatch technique used by Madara, granting both techniques a unique color and properties(albeit unspecified) when compared to other Lightning Release techniques, and further displayed by the Nara clan's Shadow Manipulation Hiden techniques(noted for being Yin-based in nature).

How it works: The user will combine the properties of Water Release and Yin Release in order to give birth to Aether Release. Water Release acts as the physical medium for the element, as Aether Release takes on the form and shape of a blood-red liquid. Aether Release is notably more viscous than regular water, being as thick as oil while retaining even more fluid movements and structure than its parent style. Aether Release also borrows from its parent style the chakra-absoring properties exhibited by several Water Release techniques in canon. However, the main crux of Aether Release's function is derived from Yin Release. Aether Release contains both parasitic and ever-changing properties. Through the inclusion of Yin Release, Aether is able to break down and absorb both matter and energy alike that it comes into contact with, including chakra, derived from the chakra draining properties of both Yin and Water Release, with the former's greater domain of altering the physical properties of matter and energy(such as the Change of Heaven technique) increasing Aether Release's draining properties beyond that of mere Water Release.

Furthermore, Aether Release's physical form is not fixed. Derived further from Yin Release's ability to alter the physical form and properties of objects and energy from one to another, Aether Release is capable of mimicking the properties it steals from that which it clashes against, making the element truly fluid. For example, should Aether Release clash against acid, it is capable of breaking down the liquid and taking on its corrosive properties; if clashing against Lava Release, it can take on its molten, semi-solid form and intense heat to become even more destructive. However, each "construct" of Aether Release can only do so once, and is only capable of taking on the properties of objects or energy that it can overpower(equal chakra or less).

Aether Release's ability to take on the properties of other objects can even be used to heal wounds and mend damaged objects by taking on the properties of the damaged object and melding with it. For example, a severed arm can be effectively regenerated by attaching an arm of Aether to the point of severance and having the Aether take on the properties of the afflicted's bodily tissue. However, there are limits to how often this can be done and the extent of which can be "fixed" by Aether(will be specified in techniques).

The element is based on: Lightning + Fire + Wind

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):

The possibility of Plasma usage in the Naruto has been outlined by Darui's Storm Release, the element creates beams of energy that flow like water. Storm Release is more so named for its combination of chakra natures versus the actual elements abilities. Even more so, one particular technique which made its debut in the RP comes from "Naruto the Movie: Legend of the Stone of Gelel". The technique was aptly named Lightning Release: Plasma Ball. The description of the technique reads: "The user manipulating their chakra generates a plasma barrier around them to serve as a defense which protects them from incoming attacks..." This gives us some context into the fact that Plasma can be possible within the Narutoverse.

Plasma has properties quite unlike those of other Lightning based elements and is considered to be a distinct state of matter. Plasma is by far the most common phase of matter in the universe, both by mass and by volume. All the stars are made of plasma, and even the space between the stars is filled with a plasma. To put that into context, Plasma makes up 99% of the observable universe, while Solids, Liquids, and Gases make up the other 1%. Plasma is sometimes referred to as being "hot" if it is nearly fully ionized, in this case, the gas generated by the user's combination Wind and Fire chakra being ionized by the lightning chakra, or "cold" if only a small fraction (for example 1%) of the gas molecules are ionized (but other definitions of the terms "hot plasma" and "cold plasma" are common). On planet, plasma is relatively rare, but it is present in electricity (lightning, St. Elmo's fire, ball-lightning), extremely hot flames and polar aurora, or artificially in fluorescent lights, electric arcs of all kinds, etc.. As an example, if you heat up a solid, it becomes a liquid. If you continue to heat the liquid, it becomes a gas. If you continue to further heat this gas, it would become Plasma. The electrons in the atoms of the gas get so excited they begin to break away leaving a soup of negatively charged electrons floating alongside positively charged ions from the atoms that have lost electrons. tl:dr, Plasma is a superheated gas. However, plasma is nothing like a gas, and hence why it qualifies as a distinct state of matter. At higher levels of temperature, plasma becomes thicker, more viscous and can physically be manipulated.

How it works:

To create the Plasma Release, the user would first need to combine both the Wind and Fire elements. This combination, creates a gas that is then fully superheated and ionized by the user's Lightning chakra. The process itself working much like a fluorescent light. When you turn on the light, electricity passes through the gas in the tubes becoming superheated causing the electrons to break off the atoms in the tubes. The illumination is the result of the glowing plasma, a state of matter consisting of a fully ionized gas of low density containing an approximately equal number of positive ions and electrons. It is important to note that although they are unbound, these particles are not ‘free’. When the charges move they generate electrical currents with magnetic fields, and as a result, they are affected by other magnetic fields. Techniques will normally form near the user of the Plasma Release and will manifest themselves in the form of immense electrical attacks or in the form of superheated matter with enough heat to surpass many fire-related elements. Electrical attacks generated by this style are usually purple, with the nm appearing as a bluish-white signifying the intensity of the element. As mentioned previously, Plasma is unique in the fact it can be manifested in different states of temperature, most commonly referred to as hot or cold plasma. Naturally, plasma is very hot due to the reaction between the elements that make up Plasma Release. However, the user is able to also produce a heat-absorbing plasma which gives the element it's uniqueness from other Lightning elements. The user will begin by dramatically slowing the excited electrical particles in the ionized gas which will, in turn, cause the plasma to become heat absorbing vs actually becoming cold itself, the heat absorption properties ultimately cause objects to freeze much like Ice Release.

Description: The user preforms this technique by clapping their hands together and using their chakra to mold two small "seeds" made out of plasma in the palms of his hands. By proceeding to pull his hands away from the seeds the float for a brief moment as one drops melting deep into the ground while the other flies off into the sky above the clouds. This plasma then begins to grow at a substantial rate for two turns before becoming usable sources of plasma which the user can utilize in order to preform techniques that require large sources of plasma. While present in the battlefield, theses sources of plasma generate a lot of temperature and can easily increase temperatures within the battlefield both above and below ground, weakening water techniques by 10. By constantly feeding these sources additional chakra, the plasma sources last until the user ends the technique, or they are destroyed by the opponent.

Conditions to be able to use it:

User must be Sannin Rank and have completed Lightning, Fire, and Wind.

Is weak to:

Plasma is weak to Wind based elements and attacks as Wind posses enough penetrative and brute force to push Plasma back. Lightning Release is also strong to Plasma as the introduction of additional Lightning can disrupt the ratio that stabilizes the element allowing Lightning to penetrate Plasma. Magnetism based attacks can completely disrupt plasma due to the magnetic fields that the heat from the element generates and in some cases control it.

Is strong against:

Fire based elements are able to be stopped by the heat absorbing aspect of plasma. Water based elements are unable to withstand the temperatures of hot or cold plasma, heat evaporating them quickly, with cold freezing them over. Earth-based elements are weak to the superheated states of plasma, as plasma will simply burn through the earth much like lava.

Extra Note: Be Mindful of the updates in . Be aware of how many submissions you can and can't submit in one cycle now. Do not update techniques to add several lines of dialogue to where the original technique and the new one are two different techniques.
