Custom element English name: Scoria

The element is based on: Fire + Earth + Wind

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): In the Manga there have been multiple ways that Lava style has been implemented into a Ninja’s jutsu. This specific type of molten rock is tied greatly to Roshi and his Jinchuuriki’s ability to use the jutsu “Lava Release: Scorching Stream Rock Technique” which produces boulders of molten rock. The molten rock from that Lava technique is greatly tied to volcanoes which shows that the user would be capable of manipulating substances that derive from volcanoes as well as some volcanic rock. With the information that it is possible to heat molten rock this element focuses on the ability to cool magma on rocks which turns it into a different substance. This not only shows that it is possible to manipulate molten rock, but possible for the user to manipulate it into a different substance to create a black,or dark gray to deep reddish brown rock known as Scoria. To better help understand this element, Scoria is quite similar to when one slowly opens a soda bottle. As they open that soda bottle small, round bubbles form along the inside surface of the bottle. Then when the bottle is fully opened it releases larger bubbles, and a hiss of gas escapes from the bottle followed by a rush of a foam like material. The depressurization and escape of gases is the same process by which magma is depressurized as it exits a volcanic vent. The foam is equivalent to what the end result of Scoria is when it solidifies.


How it works: Scoria is formed by applying tremendous pressure towards the earth. While the earth is enclosed the user then begins to heat the earth to a state of molten-like earth. Once the rock has reached the designated heat levels the user then begins to surround earth with their wind chakra which causes for the rock to be cool tremendously. At the moment the user begins to cool the rock the pressure placed among the molten rock is then reduced greatly, as the rock is also being cooled gases start to escape in the form of bubbles. Now comes the precision part of creating the element, if the wind being applied to the molten rock solidifies the rock before the gases can fully escape the bubbles become small rounded cavities along the surfaces of the rock which is exactly what is wanted to create Scoria. Due to the fact that the earth solidified before the gases could all escape some of the gases and air are trapped inside in the form of bubbles, and the wind and gases are extremely hot and explosive. While trapped inside of the Scoria rock the gas is in a dormant state free of risk of exploding. In most case the user will open a valve on the rock in order to cause it to explode. The gases are capable of exploding and at risk of it because the gases are extremely hot and have been confined in a space which will be the rock and inside it has been building up pressure. All the gases need to explode at this point is a leakage in order to be released which can be done by opening one of the vesicles on the rock where it will then explode. All of the gases can be used to explode the rock itself or it is also possible for the user to control the gases inside of the rock in order to cause specific explosions from it. Normally, in real life cases the molten rocks are cooled because they are propelled into the air from erupting volcanoes, but in this case the user can achieve the same effect by applying the Wind Element to it to cool it. Also, as the user places Wind around the earth with the heat and pressure added to it, it releases gases out of it. The bubbles found along the surface of Scoria rocks are commonly known as vesicles containing trapped gases and air. The thick walls of Scoria also make it a heavy element weighing about 100 pounds per cubic foot making it heavier than earth, and light weight elements. When dealing with Real life situations Scoria has been known to be able to be crushed into different shapes and objects. Also, because it is heavier than earth it can be used to supplement the steel used in buildings making it play on equal terms with elements such as steel with a higher density than earth. Another property of Scoria is its ability to provide a good insulator for heat so it serves as a good way to keep heat inside, but also increase the Scoria rock itself. Something to note is that Scoria is mainly formed from rising magma is introduced to lower pressures, and has gases released which were trapped inside from the quick solidification of it. Overall, Scoria is a type of cooled molten rock which contains hot/explosive gases and air inside of it making it quite hollow.

As the vesicles open the gases are exposed to the air causing for it to explode sending shrapnel in three different directions.
Conditions to be able to use it: Up to appropriate training in Fire, earth, and wind meaning if the user only has training up to B-rank in those elements they can only use up to B-rank Scoria.


Is weak to:


Water- Water also will act as wind does to Scoria, and serve as a way to cool it down. When water comes in contact with Scoria will cool down it’s hot outside surface, but as well as decrease the temperature inside of the rock itself.
Wind- Since Scoria is similar to molten rock, wind will cool down the gases and air trapped inside as well as the outside of it will be cooled down weakening it.
Lava- Lava is strong against Scoria due to Scoria's composition of Earth and Fire which the Lava element is strong against.
Storm- Same as with Lava, Storm is strong against both Earth and Fire which are the main components of Scoria.


Neutral To:
Steel- Scoria has been known to be able to replace Steel in constructions or buildings making it the logical choice to be able to play on equal terms with Steel.
Dark- Scoria is neutral to Dark release because Dark release can absorb the wind inside of the Scoria rock, but could not absorb the entire rock itself
Crystal- Is the same as Steel, and Scoria is a denser and stronger substance than ordinary earth putting it in the same league as Scoria.
Ice- Ice is known to be weak to earth which Scoria is made out of, but at the same time Ice is strong to wind which is inside of Scoria making it play on equal terms with Scoria.


Is strong against:
Earth- Scoria has been shown to have higher densities than ordinary earth structures.
Fire- Scoria is mainly a substance crafted from heated rock making it fire resistance, but at the same time it is because of Scoria that it is so dense and structured so fire will only increase the properties of the rock.
Lightning- Inside of the Scoria rock is air and gas that makes it hard for lightning to pass through it due to its weakness to wind.
Sound- It is mainly because Scoria has air trapped inside of it which would weaken the sound waves itself when it came in contact with Scoria as it tried to pass through it.

✗ Declined: No to the controlling gases inside of the rock. I'm not inclined to allow the passive opening/closing of the vesicles either. You can keep the pyrophoric property but the gases will only be released when your element is damaged or destroyed.

✗ Declined: Remove the "in most cases". Your element will only explode if punctured. Also, you can't have a pyrophroic property and have this be explosive. What I meant in my check was, you can have one or the other. Finally and the main reason for my decline, is that your elemental S/W are completely wrong. Literally every single thing you listed. Remove all of the neutralities. If your element is explosive, contact with fire would destroy. So how could it possibly be strong to Fire? Same with lightning. You seem to think the mere existence of "air and gases" within the rock would make this strong to Lightning? Lmao. The lightning would just detonate them and again, your element would be destroyed. Scoria would be weak to both Fire and Lightning.

The element is based on:

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):

Panthalassic Water is the equivalent of Tritiated Water, Tritium Oxide or Super-Heavy Water. This is a natural occurrence, albeit very rare, where a water molecule is composed of 1 Oxigen and 2 Tritons, an isotope of Hydrogen that has 1 proton and 2 neutrons, instead of the common Hydrogen. Tritiated Water is a radioactive form of water that naturally occurs in minute quantities, and is thus used to determine the age of various water-based liquids, such as vintage wines, and is used as a tracer for water-transport studies.

The Naruto World is said to be a replica of ours in all ways. Water exists in the Naruto world without any evidence against it being any different than RL water, so tritiated water is presumed to exist in the world as well, and the manipulation of specific minerals or molecules is already common, with Orochimaru's many science experiences and even some techniques, like Gaara's sand technique Shukaku's Shield that utilizes only the strongest minerals in the ground to add to its strength. Just like many Crystal elements utilize solely Earth, because it's a selective mineral/molecule within the wider spectrum of Earth or, in this case, Water. It's relationship with Basic Water, as in, Water Release in it's clear liquid form, is the same as Water Release as a flammable oil and as a sticky syrup, with Panthalassic Water granting different abilities, though at a scale much greater than mere oil or syrup.

The name is a play on Tritiated Water RL applications, though exaggerated. With Panthalassa being the primordial ocean, there would be no older body of water, so one would imagine that, it being bottled like vintage wine, and present until today would have turned to tritium oxide by now. Besides, its my nickname.


How it works:

To produce Panthalassic Water, the user relies only on their Water chakra to produce liquid water, and Chakra manipulation, though selectively produces more quantities of tritium oxide compounds than normally, while rapidly recycling water using Chakra control, to produce either pure or close to Tritiated Water. The user can, through his chakra, modulate the quantity of tritium diluted in their water techniques, across a linear spectrum. On one side, the user produces entirely pure Water, which is the basic Water Release, and on the other side the user produces pure Tritiated Water, with every tier of dilution in between. With this element, the user is capable of controlling tritium oxide molecules, which are referred to as panthalassic water molecules or panthalassic molecules, produce panthalassic molecules or covert water molecules into panthalassic water molecules. In essence, while many techniques can use Water or Water Release as a medium, Water Chakra produces Water and Water Molecules, Panthalassic Water Chakra, which is heavily manipulated, filtered and recycled Water chakra, produces Panthalassic Water and Panthalassic Molecules.

The additional neutrons of the tritum confer Panthalassic Water a higher density, which slightly increases it's physical properties. As a radioactive version of water, pure Panthalassic Water is corrosive due to self-radiolysis, where the molecules disassociate by nuclear radiation resulting in high output of energy. Description: The user produces a great trident out of Panthalassic water, which the user is able to wield or throw. He can freely manipulate it in mid-air and underwater.


Conditions to be able to use it:

The user is required Mastery of Water to such a degree that it becomes a Specialty.


Is weak to:

Earth - While denser than Basic Water, Panthalassic Water is still not dense enough to compare to Earth and other Earth Based elements, thus it retains Water's weakness to Earth. It's low energy radiation isn't strong enough to penetrate even skin, in terms of thickness. It's corrosive properties aren't strong enough to act at a level beyond that of a Biological Element.

Lightning - Due to the self-Radiolysis, Panthalassic Water is susceptible to lightning's effects, thus it turns Water's neutrality to Lightning into a Weakness. Lightning will accelerate the decay of Panthalassic Water and rapidly consume it, outputting high levels of energy. Radiation-based elements will most likely be stronger than Panthalassic Water's Radiation effects.


Is strong against:

Fire - Panthalassic Water shares the same relationship that Water shares with Fire, being able to douse it out. Fire's heat does not conflict with either the corrosive nor the radiation effect, and Panthalassic Water is already pretty hot due to self-radiolysis.

Water - As an advanced form of water, denser than it, Panthalassic Water overpowers water in every aspect, both physically and chakra-wise. It's corrosive effect melts through any Biological Element, and is a radiation hazard to living beings.

Wind - Denser than Water, Panthalassic Water is capable of turning Water's neutrality to Wind into a Strength, pushing wind and flexible enough to sustain it's cutting power. Wind does not counter either the radiation or the corrosive effect of Panthalassic Water.

✗ Declined: Almost there but I still have some gripes with this. First off, remove the entire passage on "Panthalassic Water Molecules". Secondly, you won't be able to control how much tritium is diluted in your techniques, such a thing would play havoc with your strengths and weaknesses. For example, a low concentration of tritium would most likely negate the strengths to Water and Wind and I'm not going to allow variable S/W. I'm also not inclined to allow the coloured portion, it seems unnecessary.

Is weak to:

Earth and Biological elements - While denser than Basic Water, Panthalassic Water is still not dense enough to compare to Earth and other Earth Based elements, thus it retains Water's weakness to Earth. It's low energy radiation isn't strong enough to penetrate even skin, in terms of thickness. It's corrosive properties aren't strong enough to act at a level beyond that of a Biological Element.

Lightning - Due to the self-Radiolysis, Panthalassic Water is susceptible to lightning's effects, thus it turns Water's neutrality to Lightning into a Weakness. Lightning will accelerate the decay of Panthalassic Water and rapidly consume it, outputting high levels of energy. Radiation-based elements will most likely be stronger than Panthalassic Water's Radiation effects.


Is strong against:

Fire - Panthalassic Water shares the same relationship that Water shares with Fire, being able to douse it out. Fire's heat does not conflict with either the corrosive nor the radiation effect, and Panthalassic Water is already pretty hot due to self-radiolysis.

Water - As an advanced form of water, denser than it, Panthalassic Water overpowers water in every aspect, both physically and chakra-wise.

Wind - Denser than Water, Panthalassic Water is capable of turning Water's neutrality to Wind into a Strength, pushing wind and flexible enough to sustain it's cutting power. Wind does not counter either the radiation or the corrosive effect of Panthalassic Water.

The Element is based on: Sound Release + Fire Release
Facts that prove the Element to be possible (in the manga context):

In simplistic terms, Sound and Sound Waves are vibrations that travel through a medium, most commonly the air, and in the case of Humans and most other mammals, pass through the ear, and cause the bones found in the ear to vibrate in the same way that the vibrations were caused, which are then interpreted by the brain as "Sound". We know Sound exists in the Narutoverse as the characters are able to hear and communicate with one another, hear sounds and noises from their surroundings, etc. In fact, many Shinobi are well-known for their highly tuned and trained sense of hearing and ability to pick up on the slightest sounds, like the Inuzuka and their Ninken. A more solid example of Sounds existence, and more importantly its usage, in the Narutoverse are the members of Team Dosu, all of whom are Shinobi of Otogakure, and use Sound as a weapon. Kin Tsuchi was able to create illusions using the Sound from her bells to induce Genjutsu through her target's sense of hearing, Dosu Kinuta utilized Sound through a special gauntlet-type weapon, using sounds created by the weapon to physically harm, debilitate and render his targets incapacitated, and finally, Zaku Abumi used Sound in an offensive manner, using hollow tubes implanted within his arms to propel air pressure and destructive Sound Waves, using his Chakra to alter and maintain specific frequencies. All of these Shinobi and their manipulation of Sound via their Chakra prove that Sound, both as a fundamental concept in Physics, and as a form of Ninjutsu that can be controlled via Chakra, exist within the Narutoverse. The existence of Sound in the Narutoverse also means that the concept of "Second Sound" is equally possible within the Narutoverse, and can also be created and controlled via the user's Chakra, as it is, simply put, heat that is transferred via wave-like motions and not diffusion, similar to the propagation of sound in the air.​

How it works:

Rhythm Release is an Element that is directly based on the concept of "Second Sound", which is a scientific phenomenon composed of sound wave-like fluctuations in the density of particle-like thermal excitations, or in simplistic terms, waves that give off heat in place of pressure, like the pressure exerted by the vibrations that constitute Sound. Because of this, Second Sound is classified as a type of "Thermoacoustic Wave", which are tempreture/ compression waves which conduct heat at the speed of sound. To create these Thermoacoustic Waves, the user must start by gathering Sound Release, before adding Fire Release Chakra to the mix. The Sound Release Chakra acts as the basis, and allows the user to create and manipulate sound waves , as well as their frequency, amplitude, etc, while the Fire Release Chakra allows the user to introduce and manipulate the temperature within the sound waves, creating Thermoacoustic Waves, or Second Sound Waves.

Although Rhythm Release is similar in nature to Sound Release, thanks to the addition of temperature, Rhythm Release is visible to the naked eye in the form of a red-yellow translucent light, which becomes brighter with higher level Jutsu for the Element, thanks to the amount of thermal energy present within Rhythm Release. To put it another way, Rhythm Release is physically similar to the appearance of a flame, with the main difference being it's lack of solid basis, or "fuel", and it's ripple-like appearance, thanks to the sound wave basis. Additionally, due to the very nature of this Element, by combining Sound and Fire together, this alters the properties of the sound waves, obviously allowing for the creation of Thermoacoustic Waves, but it also affects several other properties as well. For starters, unlike Sound Release, Rhythm Release obviously has the ability to generate tremendous amounts of heat, which is what constitutes the main bulk of it's lethality, but this comes at a price. Due to the user altering the given temperature of the Element, this affects both the pressure and speed of the Element, lowering both considerably. Whereas Sound Release is capable of many great feats through the application of pressure to the body, damaging soft tissues and bones, Rhythm Release loses most of this pressure, converting the potential energy from the pressure into heat. And with this loss in pressure comes a loss in potential speed for the Element, making the majority of it's applications slower than Sound itself, but still fast enough to compete with the average speed of other Elemental Natures, such as Wind and Fire Release. Rhythm Release doesn't convert all of it's potential energy into heat, and still retains some of Sound Release's signature pressure, but not as much as Sound Release itself, meaning Rhythm Release relies on it's ability to generate heat for it's offensive capabilities, however there are other potential applications for Rhythm Release. For example, such as is the case with Sound Release, through the creation and manipulation of sounds via Rhythm Release, the user is able to inflict Genjutsu upon a target/ their opponent, using their sense of Sound as the medium. This results in a unique brand of Genjutsu, allowing the user to not only utilize the Genjutsu aspect of Sound Release, but use it as the medium for the offensive application of Rhythm Release as well.

As mentioned before, Rhythm Release and it's Thermoacoustic Waves are able to conduct pressure and heat at the speed of Sound. Rhythm Release is also a "Superconductor of Heat", meaning no temperature is lost while conducting, or in other words, transferring heat through mass, or an object. These two factors, the power to conduct heat at the speed of sound, and the fact that no thermal energy is lost while doing so, make Rhythm Release an incredibly efficient and deadly Element, able to melt, burn, scorch, charbroil, etc, objects, surfaces, people, etc effortlessly. And although Rhythm Release doesn't physically "travel" at the speed of sound, it can still conduct heat at the speed of sound, thanks to the aforementioned status as a "Superconductor of Heat". By simply initiating contact with an object, surface, person, etc, then infusing their Rhythm Release Chakra into it, the user can conduct heat through the chosen medium, using it to transport Thermoacoustic Waves to a chosen target, wreak havoc within that medium, or even cause a form or resonance to occur. By having their Rhythm Release Chakra vibrate at a specific frequency, it synchronizes with the resonant frequency of the target, engaging in sympathetic vibrations, which gain more intense with duration of exposure. This is similar to how an Opera Singer is able to break a wine glass, by achieving a specific note, causing the glass to vibrate intensely until it shatters. The same principle applies to Rhythm, engaging in sympathetic vibrations, causing their target to simultaneously break apart and burn, boil, melt, etc due to the intensity of the vibrations, and thermal energy resonating within the target. Of course, this only works on solids, as they have a corporeal form that can be broken/ generally affected by the infusion of Rhythm Release Chakra, or transport Rhythm Release's Thermoacoustic Waves, meaning liquids and gasses are virtually immune to these effects, as they lack a corporeal form for the resonance to occur within.​

Description: The user gathers a large amount of Rhythm Release Chakra before releasing the thermoacoustic waves as a sound, like the sound of burning wood. Upon hearing the sound, the opponent will become trapped in an Illusion, where they are completely enveloped in a sea of flames. To the target, their entire body is rapidly burned, scorched, melted, etc, making it incredibly difficult to do anything, even move, without inviting further suffering. While this is happening their body is slowly roasted by the Rhythm Release Chakra cooking them from the inside, starting from the targets auditory systems, then slowly working it's way through the rest of their body. This persists for a total of 2 turns, with each turn inflicting 40 damage, for a total of 80. In addition to the physical damage, the target also succumbs to a severe case of heatstroke and dehydration, from their body reaching unbelievable levels of heat, and if untreated, could potentially lead to their death.

Note: Can only be used once per battle/ event.

Conditions to be able to use it:

User must have completed training in Sound & Fire Release.
User must be Kage Rank or higher.​

Is weak to:

Water: Due to it's lack of corporeal form, in addition to Rhythm Release's inclusion of temperature and lessened pressure, this makes Rhythm weak to Water, as it can negate the heat aspect of Rhythm, and overcome the remaining pressure with the sheer force a volume Water exerts. This makes Rhythm Release weak to Water Release, and similar Water-based Elements.

Lighting: Due to its intensity, both in form and in temperature, as well as its lack of corporeal form, Rhythm has no effect on Lighting and similar Lightning-based Elements. Because of this, it is able to overpower and completely ignore Rhythm Release.

Gases: Rhythm Release is entirely useless against Gases and Gaseous Elements, including Poison Release. This is because neither the pressure, nor temperature exuded by Rhythm Release have any affect on the miasmic form of Gaseous Elements.

Dark: Due to it's lack of physical substance, Rhythm Release can be completely absorbed/ overwhelmed by the absorption and release aspects of Dark Release, as well as similar Elements that are effective against energy-based Elements.​

Is strong against:

Earth: - Due to Rhythm possessing a similar, albeit weaker, level of pressure exerted by Sound, it can utilize these vibrations to shatter solid Elements via resonance. This includes other Elements like Wood, Ice and Crystal. Even techniques like the Kaguya's Shikotsumyaku are susceptible to this application of Rhythm Release.

Fire: Thanks to the level of thermal energy that the Thermoacoustic Waves are able to generate, in addition to their ability to conduct heat, Rhythm Release is easily able to overpower and even absorb weaker Fire Release, and similar Fire-based Elements.

Wind: Due to Rhythm Release's high temperatures and general inclusion of Fire Release Chakra, Wind Release both naturally enhances this aspect of Rhythm Release and is susceptible to it, as it is with Fire Release. As such, Wind Release, and similar Wind-based Elements, increase the potency of Rhythm Release techniques, should they be used in collaboration, and is overwhelmed by the combined temperature and pressure of Rhythm when used in direct competition.

Steel: By utilizing the extreme heat that Rhythm is able to produce, along with it's ability to conduct heat at the speed of Sound, Rhythm can easily melt Steel Release, and similar Metal Elements, in moments, generally rendering the rigid structure of Metal Elements inert.​

✗ Declined: Props to you on the changes, you've completely turned htis around. Pretty much everything is fine until the Strengths and Weaknesses section. I'm on the fence about allowing Genjutsu through Rhythm Release techniques but I'll discuss that with LoK. I may remove it upon checking the resubmission. The main reason this is being declined is because of your S/W. You barely have one canon weakness from the basic 5. A lack of interaction is not a weakness. Yes, their technique would go through but so would yours. Thus Lightning and "Gases" aren't weaknesses. My suggestion would be to make this weakness to Wind. It's still Sound and requires a medium to travel through. This could also be strong to lightning since it's heat would grant it a high level of electrical resistivity. Overall, this is a pretty nice element.

With these high levels of electrical energy ineffective against Rhythm, the pressure that Rhythm is capable of achieving is able to disperse the intangible form of these Elements, negating them entirely.

The element is based on:Highly refined Raw Chakra + its manipulation
Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): Chakra exists in the manga as an “object” composed of two different materials: Physical Energy and Spiritual Energy. The ratios of this, which vary from person to person, create their unique chakra balance, and chakra signature. We have also seen chakra be refined into more complex things, either elements, solid matter, or even just “denser” regular chakra, via the Rasengan.

How it works: Matter is energy. It is energy in a “stored” form, demonstrated most basically by the famous equation e=mc^2. Matter itself, being stored energy, is also susceptible to outside sources of energy, and can interact with them. Movement caused by force, excitation caused by heat, and the changes in the states of matter all illustrate this.

Chakra itself, is also energy. It is often portrayed as a flickering thing – a force. Chakra applied to something can make it do something it was originally not doing, from changing material states, to evoking motion. By these simple definitions, and the fact that it is composed of two separate sources of energy in and of itself, make chakra a form of energy.

Rainbow Release, is the “matter” form of chakra; that is, Nijiton is chakra so heavily refined and condensed that it takes on a material form.

Created by extreme chakra control, chakra will be so heavily condensed that it takes on a new form, creating a “Neutral” element in Nijiton. The process itself, like creating actual matter from energy, can best be described as “compression of the captured energies.” Unlike natural energy and matter, though, its ratio is much smaller, far from the “c” needed in the equation. Even with this, Nijiton takes a considerable amount of chakra more to use techniques with, but they also provide much more power – using this concept, it equalizes with other elements, meaning that though effort is needed to compress the chakra, thus expending energy on the user’s behalf, it ultimately creates a more powerful result. This equalization balances out perfectly, so that less chakra (in the context of the massive amounts needed for Nijiton) can be used to create equivalent forces with standardized jutsu for standardized amounts of energy.

Like how the Rasengan was shown to be “tangible”, since it interacts and compresses when in contact with physical matter, Nijiton works in a similar respect. The chakra itself is “thick”, and can best be described as similar to a superfluid, though this is only a vague comparison to how it reacts with other elements. This is because, rather than being made of subatomic particles, the entire “being” of a Nijiton technique is one large “field,” where point A is both point B and C, and is in every other point inside the field at any given instance of time. This field nature also means that when it collides with other energies, it creates perfect equilibriums, and thus forces are perfectly negated. When a Nijiton jutsu and a jutsu of equal power collide, they simple disappear upon contact – there is no “explosion”.

Like other forms of chakra, though, it can be suspended in the air, and manipulated into various forms by using shape manipulation.

Due to the fact that the chakra takes on a unique structure to form this “material” state, it also takes on a different appearance, unlike pure chakra, which is either invisible, or blue. Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): In the manga, chakra is explained as an energy that is composed of two parts: Physical Energy and Spiritual Energy. Differences in the ratios of these energies vary from person to person and create unique chakra signatures, but these two parts remains a constant between all people. One of the fundamental uses of chakra is to "transform" things, be it objects or people, and we know that even raw chakra can be condensed into a form that is tangible, via shape manipulation with techniques like the Rasengan, or chakra flow with techniques like the Samurai Sabre Technique.

The precense of rainbow and various light phenomenon (a blue ocean, colors in general, colored gems, magnifying glasses, etc) demonstrates that light scattering and refraction is a present phenomenon in the Narutoverse.

Custom element English name: Desolate Sea
The element is based on: Water + Earth + Wind + Advance Chakra Control
Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): The environment in the Narutoverse is for the foremost based off of the real world, and my custom element resides within the ocean which has been seen in the lands of Kirigakure, Kumogakure, and any other coastal lands visited in the series. In the last battle between Guy and Kisame, when they were within the ocean, there were dark areas towards the bottom of the sea signifying the presence of the various depth levels of the ocean. Desolate Sea is based off of the deepest part of the ocean, within the abyssopelagic layer, a place where no light resides.

How it works: The main element of Desolate Sea is the water element, it is the element that serves as the basis of this custom element. The addition of earth chakra is the key to making Desolate Sea what it is, and gives it most of its natural properties. Earth chakra combined with the water chakra turns the element black as its pressure and density increases beyond that of both the water and earth element while also adding certain minerals, like salt, to the custom element making it resemble the salty waters of the ocean, but its salt levels past the usual seen at the top of the ocean's surface layer. The last element needed to complete Desolate Sea is the wind element. The wind element cools the custom element to the the extremely low temperatures experienced at the abyssopelagic region of the ocean, the deepest layer, which can reach down to water's freezing point, but Desolate Sea can never freeze due to the immense pressure within its waters. When created, Desolate Sea can be made from the user or a source of water.

Features

Natural light does not penetrate the deepest layer of the ocean making photosynthesis impossible for sea plant life to exist in that layer this ce is based off of. The dark composition of Desolate Sea prevents light penetration, deflecting the rays attempting to pierce through the element, allowing the element to always remain dark in composition no matter what. Desolate Sea is an opaque, dark liquid that is freezing cold to the touch.

The combination of the earth element, and the wind element to the water element pushes Desolate Sea's density and pressure beyond that of both the basic water and earth element as the custom element mimics the lowest depths of the ocean. When things non-resistant to very high pressure are submerged within Desolate Sea, they fall victim to its immense pressure and compress in on itself as it is crushed and reduced to nothingness.

Just like the icy depths of the sea, Desolate Sea has a very low temperature that matches water at its freezing point, but due to the custom element's properties it does not freeze whatsoever. Instead, Desolate Sea remains icy cold to the touch causing things in contact with the custom element to drop in temperature until it matches that of Desolate Sea. This can be dangerous for living organisms, leading to various degrees of frostbite depending on the amount of time exposed or freezing injuries to plant life.

From their the captured target can be maneuvered by the user as they painfully suffer from the icy cold touch of Desolate Sea. Prolonged exposure can cause the surface area of the area in contact with the element to suffer minor freezing damage like, numbness or tissue damage.

The Desolate Sea needles that have managed to pierce into the body of the target will force itself into nearby tissues, muscles, organs, etc. freezing the area causing painful internal damage.

Wind(& wind based CE): Strong currents slices through the element, or large gusts dissipate it.

Lightning: Being that the abyssopelagic layer, the waters this ce was based off of, is exposed to under sea vents that exude clouds of minerals into it, Desolate Sea is highly conductible and able to be overpowered by lightning.

Metal Elements: Harder and stronger than earth, the density, strength, hardness of metal elements trump that of Desolate Sea.


Is strong against

Water(& water based CE): Higher density, pressure, and structural hardness than any other type of water being that the ce resides as the deepest layer of the sea.

Fire: It is a water based CE based off of a portion of the sea and thus has the same ability to out fire

Earth: Higher density and structural hardness than average earth.

Ice: Higher density and structural hardness than ice.

-Organisms: Desolate Sea crushes living organisms when submerged within it, and its icy properties reduces the temperature of organisms to dangerous levels with prolonged contact. When introduced into the bodies of organisms, it acts like a poison in terms of lethality, causing the exposed body parts to crush internally due to the elements pressure.

Facts that prove the Element to be possible (in the manga context):

Mawscape Release, or more commonly known as Super Black, is the combination of Earth to produce the base of the element with Fire, to temper and shape the earthen material. Earth, from generic dirt to stones of almost all natures, is saturated with naturally created carbon molecules - one of the most essential building blocks for life making it in great abundance. It is reasonable to extend this principle to the Naruto World given carbon's necessity and abundance. All materials possess some level of absorption spectroscopic qualities. When the carbon saturated earth is tempered and shaped it allows for the absorption of light by capturing it when Mawscape is struck. This light is then bounced within its structure and effectively captured; thus absorbing all light.​

How it works:

The primary method of forming Mawscape Release from one’s own body involves the simultaneously combination of one’s own Earth and Fire chakras. The purpose of such is to gather Earth to form the solid base of the element. Within that earth is ample quantities of naturally created carbon molecules. With this earth the user will apply their Fire chakra in order to temper the earth and convert it to the metallic base of Mawscape. The naturally present carbon molecules will be tempered alongside the earthen base creating the light-absorptive properties of the metallic substance. This process can also be repeated using what is naturally found around the user in the earth around them. The user simply will use their Earth chakra to manipulate the source of Earth while applying their Fire chakra to achieve the same results.

Mawscape Release is a unique metallic substance. Its most remarkable quality is its ability to absorb all visible light. Thus while it appears to be the color black it is actually the absence of color which gives it its black hole/void like appearance. Practically wise it is a metallic element possessing below average physical durability. Mawscape is akin to a heavy duty, thick, and durable foil. It can be machined, drawn, pressed, and extruded with relative ease while also resist light amounts of pressure in great quantity. In a head on clash with Earthen or metallic elements Mawscape Release will bend and shatter easily. Because of its chemical and physical makeup Mawscape is very hydrophobic allowing it to repel fluids.

Mawscape Release, as previously mentioned, is capable of absorbing all light. This occurs because of the tempered carbon molecules within the element. Light will strike the surface of the Mawscape and will be bounced within it instead of reflecting back outward. This creates the image of Mawscape appearing entirely black while in reality the darkness is the complete absorption of light. This creates a flat and entirely featureless void on a surface or structure of Mawscape. This is so potent that this will happen even if the observer brings their eyes extremely close to the Mawscape. Because Mawscape is entirely black it will seem as if three dimensions disappear making Mawscape appear as a two dimensional structure to an observer. For example, should a thin sheet of Mawscape Release be produced which is creased (wrinkled) in a purely random fashion an observer will be unable to discern the creases. Thus it will appear as a void and purely flat (despite in reality being creased and wrinkled). Yet if touched the observer will be able to feel the creases. A second example is being trapped in a room composed purely of Mawscape. Without any light one would be completely unable to perceive size, shape, or depth of the space about them. One would not be able to see the floor, ceiling, or walls. It would be as if they are in a true void of space creating an extremely disorienting environment. Additionally these void like qualities influence one’s ability to perceive depth. A void of Mawscape will appear as a two dimensional structure to an individual due to its pitch-black nature. This makes Mawscape Release a highly deceptive element. It has a number of versatile applications in dark environments as well as stealth related tasks, objectives, and missions. Its deceptive prowess is so great that even Doujutsu fail to recognize the three dimensional structures which Mawscape Release can create. This is because Doujutsu perceive light in the same way generic eyes do. However, Doujutsu can still perceive the chakra within structures as normal and in accordance with their respective bloodline. Mawscape can even be used to coat other physical techniques to create the appearance that they are completely black and to create confusion.

Mawscape also possesses high levels of emissivity. When Mawscape captures light, radiation, or any type of electromagnetic radiation, the bouncing light within it will produce heat. Because Mawscape is a potent conductor of heat it will be very hot to the touch due to the concentration of chakra. By default Mawscape will be hot to the touch as it absorbs the natural light of the environment. The heat is not great enough to cause the element to transition to a liquid state but will be able to produce burns on contact. Because of its tempered nature Mawscape becomes a potent conductor of heat granting it great resistance to the damaging effects of heat-based elemental natures.​

Weak to:

Earth & Lightning Release: Mawscape Release possesses low physical durability. Against Earth and Lightning's brutal force Mawscape will shatter easily against it.

Steel and Crystal Releases, and Shikotsumyaku: Like its interaction with Earth Release. Mawscape Release's low physical durability makes it vulnerable to Steel and Crystal Release as well as Shikotsumyaku. All are able to shatter, pierce, and destroy Mawscape with greater ease. This includes the crystalline elements of Ruby and Jade.

Explosion Release: Explosion Release's violent potential shatters Mawscape with ease. It should be noted that Mawscape is able to absorb the natural light from an explosion, however.​

Strong to:

Fire Release: Mawscape Release is a potent conductor of heat and is able to stand against Fire Release without suffering from damage.

Water Release: Mawscape, due to its chemical and physical structure, is hydrophobic. Thus it possesses an inherent strength against Water Release, and subsequently Rain Release.

Scorch Release: Mawscape Release cannot be dehydrated by the extreme temperatures of Scorch Release. Thus it shares in the same strength against Scorch Release that Earth does.

Ichor Release: Because Mawscape is a physical element it is capable destroying Ichor and effectively ending it's progression though causing the liquid to stick to the element.

Light Release: Due to its absorption spectroscopic qualities Mawscape is the natural enemy of Light Release. It is capable of absorbing light with incredible ease.

Radiation Release: Because of its ability to absorb light on the electromagnetic spectrum Mawscape makes a potent defense against Radiation. It can absorb and defend from the element while simply releasing thermal energy, heat, as it would with Light.

Dark Release Absorption & Release:
Mawscape Release, while ironically is absolute darkness, is a metallic and physical elemental nature. As such Dark Release fails to both overcome it and absorb it.​

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context) Plasma is one of the four fundamental states of matter in the universe being the most abundant form of matter. Occurring naturally in space and in the atmosphere of Earth exist a variant form of plasma called dusty plasmas. Dusty plasmas are plasmas containing very small sized charged particles of dust suspended within it that accrete into larger forms as the plasmas charge rises. This unique plasma is found in many states, but the main one of focus for this CE is its charged crystalline state. In the canon Narutoverse their exists various forms of plasma and crystal manipulation shown, and this CE is just a combination of both. Voltaic Glass is based off of the creation of a charged dusty plasma when coupling occurs between the many growing dust particles within it causing them to form into an electrically charged crystalline state.

How it works: Voltaic Glass is an advanced element created by simultaneously molding one's earth, lightning, and fire chakra all at once creating a new type of chakra, Voltaic Glass chakra. The combined lightning and fire chakra is the base of the ionized gas, while the earth chakra gives the highly charged energy the particles needed to couple together forming it's crystalline state. Due to the high charge levels needed to sustain the crystalline element, Voltaic Glass emit high levels of electricity that can be felt on contact with the element. Its crystalline form radiates a strong pure light blue color that is strong enough to illuminate areas acting as a sufficient source of light when in darkness. Voltaic Glass can be released from the users body, manipulated from a previously made source, or created from a source of earth.

Features
Voltaic Glass has shocking qualities making it a dangerous element to the touch, its severity depending on the amount of time exposed to the body. While as like the "Ball lightning", an unexplained atmospheric electrical phenomenon. One single Ionized-Ash acts as a sphere state of lightning, hovering over the ground, floating through walls and even killing people via explosion. ✗ Declined: Trying to explain it through "ball lightning", an unexplained phenomenon isn't going to fly. Mechanically this is no different from Explosion Release. Also, you never really did justify the ability for these cubes to "float through walls". It just seems like a random (and illogical) property you threw in just for the sake of it.

Iocane or rather Tabun (GA) its scientific name— is an extremely dangerous substance harmful to all life forms. Appearance wise, it is a clear, tasteless substance that takes the form of a liquid. One of its most distinct characteristics would be the fruity aromas given off once it is produced—usually causing people to become aware of its presence, due to its unique smell.

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): In the Naruto World it has been proven for several types of poisonous substances to exist in the world include those created by Puppet users who utilize substances which can come in a magenta smoke cloud or in a liquid form. Also, it has been seen that these poisonous substances are filled with powerful Nerve Agents. These Nerve agents can have negative effects on any person through inhalation or skin contact. Depending on what is wanted, it is possible to create Nerve Agents specifically to harm a specific part of a persons nervous system. All of this is simply to say that it has been shown possible to produce/create substances that are poisonous and serve the purpose of effecting bodily functions through any form of contact. More importantly, in the Naruto World we saw how Wood release possessed the ability to release harmful fumes and chemicals which were shown to have detrimental effects on a person. Plants created from Wood release were shown to contain several Nerve Agents inside of the them. Wood release simply shows how it is possible to create poisonous substances. Additionally, we are able to see that with Wood release and the fumes that it produces— do not all go into immediate affect right away. Also, depending on the amount produced and the amount that a person has been exposed to, we are able to see that the sheer quantity of which something has been produced can determine the effects upon a person. With all of this, it simply goes to say that it is possible for a person to create harmful chemicals in a variety of forms leading to the possibility of this hazardous liquid.

How it works:

To start off, in order to create Iocane the user will first create a base for the element— which in this case will be Water and lightning. The water serves to outweigh the lightning in quantity. The lightning serves the purpose to cause the water to undergo a process known as a electrolysis thereby purifying it. Once it has been purified the user will then manipulate their Wind chakra in order to bring in the needed minerals and chemicals needs to give the elements it's lethal properties. Due to this sudden combination of particles it will leave the liquid with a mixture of needed atoms. Let it be noted Iocane lives off of lightning in the sense that it can use lightning in order to help bring forth the purity levels needed for this element. Depending on the amount of electricity produced it can make the element give off a different color. Most commonly, this element will be produced in it's colorless form. However if it is faced with more electricity from an outside source it will cause the element to be changed into a brownish liquid. It is not possible for the user to produce this element in it brown form, so it would require an outside source to push the element to that level. All of that is to to say that adding more lightning to Iocane would only need serve to increase it's properties. Wind will also play an important role in the creation of this element since it is mainly because of it that Iocane has its dangerous properties. With the help of wind— it helps to bring forth several nerve agents that will give Iocane it's dangerous properties.

When dealing with Iocane, a crucial thing to note is how it does harmful effects to humans when inhaled, indigested (swallowing), or absorbed through skin contact. When Iocane has come into contact with a person in any of the following ways; it influences their body with the harmful agents of Tabun causing for them to experience a variety of side effects. Iocane can also be used to easily dissolve or coat certain objects in a layer of Tabun (Iocane) giving it the dangerous effects of Iocane itself. Even as a vapor it is possible for someone to get exposed to Tabun vapor causing for it create harmful fumes that can be harmful to someone's health. It however is not possible for the user to create Iocane in vapor form; so in order to get it to that state it requires the usage of an outside factor. When dealing with exposure from inhalation, that simply means after a person has constantly inhaled its sweet aroma they will face a variety effects harming their body. Iocane can also be absorbed through direct contact with a target. When dealing with Iocane exposure a person will have the initial exposure lead to their bodily breaking down, and if exposed to it again then the effects will double. Let it be noted, that Iocane in both vapor and liquid form are heavier than air. This simply means that while Iocane is in vapor form it will sink to lower areas in the field; risking exposure at low areas. Under most situations, the effects of Tabun are only revealed after a certain amount of time has been passed or the effects will simply get worse as time goes on.

Iocane works by mainly causing disturbances between a persons enzymes. The specific enzymes affected by it are the body's off switch functions controlling the body's glands and muscles. Without being able to stop they will eventually tire themselves out. From simply making contact with a persons body it can cause extreme perspiration and muscle twitching which can lead to them facing a hard time performing simple body actions. Some of the effects of Iocane exposure can be found below along with some of the more life threatening effects such as paralysis. Depending on how a person has been exposed can and will determine the effects upon which they experience first. That is simply to say, that if a person was exposed via their eyes they will first experience effects such as: Watery eyes and Eye pain. Upon immediate contact with a person it causes sweating and muscle twitching can be felt along with a variety of other effects.

Earth- Earth is a rather heavy substance capable of stopping the force of it— as well as providing a good barrier between the user and this poisonous substance.
Fire- Iocane has a high volatility which just mean it has a higher tendency to transform into a vapor. Fire has the ability to heat Iocane's temperature causing for it to transform into a vapor. However, even as a vapor Iocane still poses harmful effects, but controlling it is out of the user's control at this point.

Is strong against:
Water- Iocane is strong against water because it is a more powerful version of it , and can easily mix with water, overwhelming the components of water, changing it into a poisonous substance.
Wind- Iocane is very heavy (But not heavier than Earth)— proven when it sinks while in vapor form, making it hard for wind to blow away its components.
Lightning- Iocane is an element derived from Electricity in a sense. Iocane reached its needed purity level because of a process called electrolysis which transforms it into a pure substance . Lightning would only help to increase its properties and further purify it.
Organic Elements: Iocan will detrimental results on any organisms composition or health similar to a humans.

✗ Declined: Your proof is insufficient. The method of creation is flawed. You don't explain anything in detail at all. All of the properties of this element are tied into extrinsic factors. Your element is a colourless liquid but it needs to be exposed to lightning or fire to actually do anything? Finally, we already have a large abundance of elements like this. Dream Sand, Ichor, Bleach and even Panthalassic Water. There's nothing original here.

The element is based on:

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):
The fact that this element is possible, and does exist is the fact that Natural chalk is found in aquatic conditions such as in underwater deposits, While Chalk is one of earth's minerals that can also be found in thick layers, both on and below the ground.. It is formed by the gradual build up of minute calcite plates that have been shed from micro-organisms called coccolithophores.. As in narutoverse we know that they have major seas, oceans, rivers and they form from under water. Calcium is a part of daily life being in alot of everyday materials Including chalk, For instance Unpurified water Etc. We have seen techniques such as quicklime from an Iwa Ninja, As Quicklime contains a some amount of calcium inside of it, we have seen killer bee use Ink which contains a percentage of calcium in it, We have seen painters inside naruto which paint contains a percentage of calcium. Thus makes me believe chalk is easily among the things that exist in naruto due to it having a large some of calcium inside of it. It was also seen on Part 1. Of naruto a chalk board and chalk on the chalk stand, with letters written on the chalk board, making me believe chalk indeed does exist

How it works:
The user will mix 3 elements, Water, Wind, and Earth into either the ground, a water source (Due to chalk forming in oceans etc) or the body. The user channel their earth chakra into the ground to manipulate the sedimentary rocks of the earth mixing their chakra into it while using shape manipulation. The wind and water act as the weathering property for the earth while manipulating it turning the rock into chalk. This will come to the creation of Chalk. The same application applies on a water source except the user use the water as the main source and channel earth and wind to create the weathering phase to create chalk. The same process would take place Due to chalk also being able to form underwater, the user can also manipulate and follow the same steps to making chalk on land on water, except the user will use less water chakra and more earth and wind to cause, and manipulate the weathering of the rock to form chalk. This will allow chalk to be able to form on/under water also. While creating chalk from the body, the user simply use a balanced portion of wind, water, and earth combining them creating chalk.

Primary Use:
This Element is use in versatile ways but mainly in the main way as Earth. For Strong Offensive, and Defensive purposes. When Chalk goes against something of harder substance it breaks down into chalk powder, the chalk powder can not be manipulated, but it can be used as a distraction for other uses such as an escape or even to cause coughing though it is not hazardous

Secondary Use:
Chalk is use as writing material, thus allowing the user to use chalk in a animation type style similar to sais ink. But instead of drawing on a piece of paper, the user has to draw on a hard surface, thus creating the animation side of this element. By doing this, the user will create an animation and use the confirmation handseal at all times pooling chakra into the creation.

✗ Declined: Decently put together. My only problem is that your element is a 1 on the Mohs scale of hardness. That means it will be weak to virtually every element that carries some physical force. This includes Wind and might even include Water. Secondly, I checked into your claim of Chalk being "immune" to fire. It's true it doesn't melt but it does decompose when heated. It has a melting point of 1300 or so, which is about the same as Steel. Wouldn't this make it neutral to Fire-based elements?

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):


Orichalcum is a metal that first appeared in Atlantis mythos as a substance second in value to only Gold, and has since made various re-appearances in the high fantasy genre as a metal of immense strength. In this context, Orichalcum will refer to Metal Glass (Amorphous Metals/Glassy Metals) - which is a type of metal alloy formed of metals but classified as glass due to its amorphous atomic structure, which grants it a variety of unique attributes that will be discussed later on.

Metals are prevalent throughout the Narutoverse canon, appearing in everything from village appliances, to technology, to the arsenal of Shinobi (such as Ninja headbands, cutlery, framework of buildings, Kunai, Ninja wire, Shuriken and so on). Furthermore, the ability to produce Metal through the utilisation of chakra has clearly been demonstrated in Steel Release, which allows the user to produce and manipulate a metal alloy called Steel. Glass has also been shown to be present on various occasions, ranging from Kabuto/Sarada’s glasses to the glass windows of buildings such as the Kage Mansion. Glass also exists as a CE on Narutobase (or did).

As it has been shown possible to produce metal alloys through chakra in Steel release, it should also be possible to produce Orichalcum - Amorphous Metals - which are essentially metallic alloys (alloys formed of metal elements, (virtually any metal could form a metal glass alloy, even a pure one instead of an alloy) unlike the steel alloy which is formed of nonmetallic elements too) that have been rapidly cooled so quickly that they do not get the chance to crystallize and form organized lattices, instead they have a disordered and random (amorphous) molecular structure.


How it works:

Orichalcum, being an alloy, would be produced in a similar way to steel release. That is, that earth will serve as the base as it provides the required ore, whereas fire is used to extract, smelt and purify the ore into a shaped metal. The difference however would be the introduction of wind chakra, which is utilised to rapidly cool the forming metal so that it cannot form the organized atomic structure that it wants to.

The result would be an Amorphous Metal, technically a glass, as it has the random and disorganized atomic structure that is characteristic of glasses and ceramics that gives them their immense strength, but also brittleness, but also a metal as it is an alloy, therefore also gaining the toughness that are characteristic of metals, meaning that unlike Glass, metal glass gains the benefit of being able to resist far more fatigue and stress before fracturing. Essentially, Orichalcum is a perfect blend between strength and toughness, most amorphous metals are incredibly strong, stronger than steel, titanium and even hardened Steel on account of their atomic structure, as a result Orichalcum would also exhibit immense strength, falling short of only a few substances.

Another unique characteristic of amorphous metals is that its amorphous structure makes it highly resistant to deformation. This means that Orichalcum is highly efficient in terms of sending energy back, and transmitting energy. As such, solid projectiles that strike against Orichalcum will ricochet with far more force than they would off of steel (assuming neither the projectile or metal glass shatter in the clash), retaining much of the energy that they previously had as they effectively ‘bounce off of’ metal glass. Furthermore, objects struck by Orichalcum will have force transferred into them more efficiently, meaning that they will fly further or take a ‘heavier hit’. The bounceback ability of Orichalcum would be the focus of many techniques.

When Orichalcum breaks however, it will shatter, just like glass.

Visually, Orichalcum would appear as a lustrous metallic substance that takes shades of either red or blue/(violet) as light as pink or lilac, to shades of violet/red so dark that it would virtually be black - this is dependent on the user and the technique in question.

Usage Examples:

Name: Orichalcum Spears
Description: The user will be capable of channeling their Orichalcum chakra into the earth to produce numerous Orichalcum spikes that will shoot up from the ground to strike an opponent.

Bounce Back
Description: When faced with a solid projectile the user will be capable of erecting a dome of Orichalcum that will reflect the incoming projectile back to the opponent. The reason why a dome is utilised is so that the angle of deflection can be better controlled, angling it towards the opponent instead of in a random direction.

Name: Drive
Description: Allows for the creation of gauntlets of Orichalcum, due to Orichalcum’s high coefficient of restitution strikes delivered by the gauntlets will be incredibly powerful, not only because of Orichalcum’s hardness, but also because of its efficiency at transmitting energy - therefore delivering more force behind strikes.

Conditions to be able to use it: Mastery of Earth + Water + Wind + Advanced Chakra Control (At least Kage Rank) and Stronk Willpower.

Is weak to:

Fire and Fire CEs: Amorphous metals have relatively low melting points (a few hundred degrees celsius), as a result Orichalcum will be easily be softened by advanced fire techniques.
Lightning and Lightning CEs: Lightning, being hot too, will also damage Orichalcum, superheating it and turning it into a molten mess.
Extremely Hard CE: Very few materials will exhibit as good a balance between strength, toughness and hardness as Orichalcum due to its unique atomic make up. However quite a few substances will be harder, such as Diamond, and other substances at least 9 on the mohs scale or above.


Is strong against:

Wind and Wind CEs: Orichalcum is incredibly strong, so much so that it will be capable of weather the vast majority of wind attacks with ease.
Water and Water CEs: Water will fruitlessly bounce off of Orichalcum, and will be incapable of damaging it. Some attacks (highly compressed water/that with shape manipulation strong enough to hold its form even after a clash) may even bounce back to the opponent.
Earth and Earth CEs: Orichalcum is stronger than the vast majority of minerals and elements, as a result they will either shatter or be bounced upon colliding with Orichalcum

Organic KGs + CEs (Such as Mokuton, Shitsomyaku, Mushrooms, Plants, etc: Orichalcum will overpower them with ease on account of being stronger.
Acid CEs: Orichalcum is inert and incredibly resistant to corrosion and as a result will weather through most acidic CEs.

The element is based on: Water + Earth + Advanced Chakra Control.
Algae, like most other organic elements, is created by using the Earth element as a physical base and the Water element as a life-giver. The element follows the basic principles of Wood Release, but where wood primarily favors the characteristics of the Earth element; Algae are aquatic in nature.

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):
In the manga we’ve seen Hashirama and Shinobi with his cells in their bodies demonstrate the ability to create living trees and wooden structures by combining the Earth and Water elements. The Algae element functions in a similar fashion, combining the same elements in order to create something quite different, yet with the same concept in mind.
The Narutoverse has revealed itself to be very similar to our own world. With the confirmed presence of large bodies of water, diseases and infections that imply the existence of microorganisms and even plants that resemble seaweed; it’s not a great stretch to place Algae in Kishimoto’s universe.

Furthermore, the Three-Tailed Beast had the ability of using it’s water chakra to create Coral from it’s body as a means of attacking. Seeing as how Algae and Coral share a symbiotic relationship in nature, with some Algae living within coral and viceversa, the existence of Coral and its creation through chakra can serve as further proof for the existence and the possible creation of Algae.

How it works:
As mentioned before; the Algae element functions through the combined properties of the elements Earth and Water.

What sets Algae apart from already existing elements is that while Mokuton, Root release and so on all have an identifiable and defined structures, Algae instead has an unstructured form. Essentially, Algae’s countless algal blooms form an amorphous mass of vegetation that has a sludge-esque consistency; and, unlike Mokuton that grows into a rigid or turgid shape, Algae instead flows and oozes as if it were mud. The formless algae that is produced can, in a similar manner to Water techniques, be sculpted by chakra into a variety of structures for attack and defense and condensed to hold a specific form.
The liquidos nature of Algae, in many cases, restricts it to growing from only moisture rich environments - i.e, Water, but can also extend to encompass growth from mist, swamps, or even just soaked earth. Essentially any source that’s damp or saturated enough to give Algae the moisture rich kick-start it needs to thrive on dryer terrestrial grounds as it spreads will work, and allow Algae to perform it’s maximum capacity.

The Algal element can be divided into Three Releases.

The Main Release:
Consists of formless, sludge like Algae with color(s) depending on the user’s chakra. The Main Release of the Algae element covers entities made of autotrophic Algae that are capable of being grown both from the user’s body and water sources due to Algae’s aquatic nature. The Main Release possesses immense ‘growing abilities’, being able to feed off of water to amplify its already intense growth-rate. Being largely photosynthetic and asexual in nature; the Main Release has everything it needs on the field and in itself.
A special ability of the Main Release is that it continues to grow even after the techniques that creates it has run out of momentum or been stopped/completed. Algae that hasn't been destroyed continues to divide itself and spread across the terrain (as long as there is sufficient water around), although at a slower rate. This feature is what gives Algae its terrain-changing properties.
The unique aspects that many Algae species may have can all fall under the umbrella of the Main Release and be exploited through use of specific techniques. Like water, which can be altered to be sticky, flammable, volatile and so on, Main Release Algae can be altered through use of techniques to gain abilities attributed to some of its genera and species, (I.e frost resistance and etc), and very rarely it may exhibit physique based changes or growths, such as algal flowers. However Algae does not produce replicas of every single species as Plant or Mushroom release might, instead the sludge forms an umbrella in which the varying abilities of all Algae can be encompassed.

The user can also create structured, seaweed like Algae. The alternative release essentially consists of slimy tendrils of seaweed of the brown algae variety, such as kelp, that can be shaped and sized to the user’s preferences, in essence the main difference between this, and the main release, is that the Alternative release takes on a more defined form by being comprised of larger algae species rather than the smaller, aggregated blooms of the Main Release, outside of that they are virtually identically in terms of abilities.

The user can also create spores which will grow into Algae release structures and techniques, however on occasion spores will develop into a select few algae species that the CE will utilise, as it will not aim for the breadth that Mushrooms and Plant release have in terms of invoking exact replicas of every specific plant or mushroom observable in nature.

This can effectively give the user an advantage in extremely cold terrains.

Conditions to be able to use it:
Mastery of the Earth Element.
Mastery of the Water Element.
Advanced Chakra Control.

Is Weak to:

Dust: The Dust elements boasts the unique and devastating capability of being capable of piercing, tearing and shredding matter on a molecular level. Of course the Algae element would also fall victim to this ability, being torn to microscopic shreds. While the regenerative abilities of Algae may attempt to resist this; the overall overwhelming abilities of Dust that were shown to be capable of completely eliminating earthen structures would easily overcome this aspect.

Storm: The Storm element has shown beam-like capabilities which exhibit prominent blasting-like piercing properties. It's the high-powered piercing aspect that grants the Storm element an edge over the Algae element, similar to the Algae element's weakness to Lightning.

Lightning and Custom Piercing Variants: The piercing properties of the Lightning element offers it a significant edge when faced with Algae. Though the organisms are hardly conductive by themselves, the often aquatic and organic features of Algae leaves Lightning with an elemental advantage. The same concept applies to custom variations of the Lightning element with great piercing power.

Wind and Custom Variants: Like Lightning, the Wind element’s ability to pierce through most materials poses a significant threat to the Algae element. The same concept applies to custom variations of the Wind element.

Is Strong Against:

Earth: Similar to Wood Release, Algae can infiltrate and break Earth apart from within.

Fire and some Custom Variants: Being both autotrophic, photosynthetic and aquatic in nature; Algae have a rather unique relationship with fire-based elements. Though Fire holds a significant advantage over most organic elements, Algae’s ability to undergo rapid growth when exposed to carbon dioxide and light, both of which are byproducts of fire, puts the two at somewhat of a stalemate. The offset to this stalemate lies within Algae’s aquatic nature, being that the element largely favors Water in its creation. When exposed to the Fire element and most of its variations; Algae responds to the drastic increase in heat by forcefully absorbing nearby moisture as to keep itself saturated with water. Since Algae is very damp, it is virtually impervious to burning.

Note that superheated variations of the Fire element may bypass this elemental weakness. I.e. Sun Fire.

Ice: Algae naturally displays an immense resistance to cold, being capable of growing on and near Ice and snow. This resistance is personified in the Algae element, thus rather than viewing Ice as Ice; Algae simply views Ice as frozen water, looking upon the Ice as simply another source of food to supply its growth. This paired with the fact that it can destroy ice much like it does Earth results in this particular elemental strength.

Water: Since the Algae element uses Water as a foundation for its creation; Algae would, much like Mokuton, feed off of Water in its attempt to grow, thus making it strong against Water.

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):

Cresent Moon Rasengan

This element is possible within the context of the manga for many reasons, so first I will explain how I first came to this conclusion. In the Naruto movie, Guardians of the Crescent Moon, Naruto combines the Rasengan with the rays of a crescent moon to engulf it in a blinding white light. This forms a white crescent moon with a star in the Rasengan, making the attack larger and more powerful. So in the terms of the RP, this energy based element can be made possible with the user manipulating their wind and lightning chakras to create Aurora energy attacks.

An aurora is a natural light display in the sky particularly in the high latitude regions, caused by the collision of energetic charged particles with atoms in the high altitude atmosphere. The magnetosphere and solar wind consist of plasma (ionized gas), which conducts electricity.

Auroras are associated with a flow of ions continuously flowing outward from the Sun. The Earth's magnetic field traps these particles, many of which travel toward the poles where they are accelerated toward Earth. Collisions between these ions and atmospheric atoms and molecules cause energy releases in the form of auroras appearing in large circles around the poles. Auroras are more frequent and brighter during the intense phase of the solar cycle when coronal mass ejections increase the intensity of the solar wind.

The discrete aurora are sharply defined features within the diffuse aurora which vary in brightness from just barely visible to the naked eye to bright enough to read a newspaper at night. Discrete aurorae are usually observed only in the night sky because they are not as bright as the sunlit sky. Aurorae occur occasionally poleward of the auroral zone as diffuse patches or arcs which are generally invisible to the naked eye.


How it works:

In simple terms, primarily the user should be able to combine his chakras with the constant flow of ions that flow from the sun outwards into the earth and use that energy to produce Aurora like energy techniques. Even though we as humans dont come into contact with 100% of the ions that reach the earth, that small portion still should be able to be used to create jutsus just as Naruto was able to. Since its not as dense in ions auroras in the atmosphere the color is more of a light blue pigment.

If not using the energy around him as a basis to perform techniques the user should be able to channel their lightning chakra sending it out into the air, acting as the conductor to ionize the particles within the air to create Aurora energy particles.

As from above, during the day it is almost invisible to the naked eye, but during the night it can be seen and even bright enough for someone to read a newspaper in the dark. So mainly dojutsu users will be able to see the chakra and energy in the air during the daytime and non dojutsu users wont notice it.

Is strong against: All elements that have a solid earth composition. Lighting and wind just assimilate into the technique. It can conduct regular amounts of water to the point of evaporation and still progress on.

✗ Declined: The problem here remains that I don't really see anything that's enough to make this any different from existing CE. Most metals will cause sparks if another metal hits it, so that hardly can be considered something special, and all that stuff about Sharingan and Byakugan users has to go either way. They have the ability to easily see through genjutsu, objects and chakra sources. They are the persons who will be the least affected by such a superficial gimmick. It's also not something that should be listed among strengths. So in the end the only thing it has, is that energy bit, which is based on that vid of yours really not much. It's measured in microvolts and milliamps, it only works when it's submerged in water and than it strongly depends on where in the water exactly. So in the end this is really fake gold. There's already a gold element and this is just not real gold

The element is based on: Earth/ Fire


Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):
Pyrite was once used as a firing device for weaponry and also in fake jewelry and other notables like batteries which battery type cells have been shown. However it's actual ploy is that it resembles gold but isn't actually the same thing as it is many times used as counterfeit currency to fool people.

It is considered a sulfide mineral which is a metal and yet classes in crystals as well. It is also found near Quartz veins, sedimentary rock. While having the nickname of fools gold it is also slightly found near gold deposits as well.

We've seen countless of rocks minerals metals and other types of crystals related to elements and there is little difference to pyrite as well. Pyrite is also made of Iron and Sulphur. It is also found around Coal deposits all of these things exist in Naruto and are all CE in there own right. This helps to prove that it would be quite simple to find pyrite in narutoverse.



How it works:
Using your earth and fire chakra to make Pyrite ( or use an existing source from the ground) while it is also used to sharpen and smooth the shiny facets which give reflection/mirrored facets to the mineral. The user can take advantage of the elements reflective abilities in battle hindering doujutsu user's to some degree's being able to confuse them. The durability of pyrite is that it is brittle substance but still a solid substance.

Another type of ability of pyrite is its ability to spark when you strike it with metal or with it being struck against each other. This will help with igniting flammable substances and or fire jutsu which require an ignition of some sort. Bacteria can increase the process of oxidization for this mineral giving it slight acidic qualities as most natural sources of water have immense bacteria in them. This can however not be control, nor can the user control how much acid.


Pyrite has been used in making Cathode which are exit points for batteries. The Cathode is known as the exit power for power. The user adapting this concept should be able to apply it to pyrite and there lightning chakra. Being able to release a higher and cleaner form of lightning through a pyrite Cathode. Being that pyrite is well known as a Semiconductor and are crystalline or amorphous solids with distinct electrical characteristics. They are of high electrical resistance — higher than typical resistance materials, but still of much lower resistance than insulators.
Semiconductor devices can display a range of useful properties such as passing current more easily in one direction than the other, showing variable resistance, and sensitivity to light or heat. Because the electrical properties of a semiconductor material can be modified by doping, or by the application of electrical fields or light, devices made from semiconductors can be used for amplification, switching, and energy conversion.

+Earth- being that pyrite is more brittle then earth and regular crystals it will have a slight weakness to these elements.

Steel- Steel is quite harder then pyrite but will be able to use to create spark with one another.

Is strong against:

+Water- using water to combat pyrite will work but it is deadly as it causes acid drainage which causes sulfuric acid and acid rock. Also the fact that pyrite structures hold a natural charge of energy and is enhanced once it is in contact with water or sources.

Lightning- due to being a great conductor for electricity. Using pyrite as a medium will help to boost the electrical voltage from lightning without damaging the pyrite.

Flammable gases or liquids- due to being able to achieve spark upon being contacted with solid objects it can ignite flammable substances.

This element is possible within the context of the manga for many reasons, so first I will explain how I first came to discovering this element. I was watching several techniques which were: Dust Release, Explosion Release, and Scorch Release. Explosion release would utilize the users explosive chakra allowing them to blow up things they came into contact with or by the use of clay. Scorch release creates chakra that is capable of heating up an enemy to the point where all the liquid inside their body evaporates, killing the victim and leaving them a desiccated corpse. Meanwhile Dust Release maniulates simultaneous uses of Earth, Wind, and Fire to create an advanced nature Kekkei Tota that appears to be a 3 dimensional cube and allows the user to manipulate molecules, giving them the ability to disintegrate anything on a molecular level within the boundaries of the three-dimensional form.

Supernovas are a stellar explosion that is more energetic than a nova. Supernovae are extremely luminous and cause a burst of radiation that often briefly outshines an entire galaxy, before fading from view over several weeks or months. During this short interval a supernova can radiate as much energy as the Sun is expected to emit over its entire life span. The explosion expels much or all of a stars material, driving a shock wave into the surrounding areas. This shock wave sweeps up an expanding shell of gas and dust called a supernova remnant. Supernova are also candles or are starters of pulsar wind nebulas.

Nova is what appears to be a very bright new star shining in the celestial sphere; the prefix "super-" distinguishes supernovae from ordinary novae, which also involve a star increasing in brightness, though to a lesser extent and through a different mechanism. Several types of supernovae exist. Types I and II can be triggered in one of two ways, either turning off or suddenly turning on the production of energy through nuclear fusion. After the core of an aging massive star ceases generating energy from nuclear fusion, it may undergo sudden gravitational collapse into a neutron star or black hole, releasing gravitational potential energy that heats and expels the star's outer layers. Alternatively a white dwarf star may accumulate sufficient material from a stellar companion (either through accretion or via a merger) to raise its core temperature enough to ignite carbon fusion, at which point it undergoes runaway nuclear fusion, completely disrupting it. Stellar cores whose furnaces have permanently gone out collapse when their masses exceed the Chandrasekhar limit, while accreting white dwarfs ignite as they approach this limit (roughly 1.38 times the solar mass). White dwarfs are also subject to a different, much smaller type of thermonuclear explosion fueled by hydrogen on their surfaces called a nova. Solitary stars (such as the Sun) with a mass below approximately 9 solar masses, evolve into white dwarfs without ever becoming supernovae.

Furthermore, the expanding shock waves from supernova explosions can trigger the formation of new stars.


Stars exist in the Narutoverse, so the collapse of a star and black holes exist too. Supernovas are developed from the collapse of an aging star. The white dwarf star is a proper example of a star that collapses and turns into a supernova, but this is also what helps the user better understand how to create such a complex element. A star that's comparable to a white dwarfs mass is the Sun. Its luminosity comes from the emissions of its contained thermal energy.

What is it entirely made up of, and how does one obtain these things you may ask? Helium, oxygen, carbon, neon and iron, and others are elements fund in the atmosphere and in space. These elements can be found in the atmosphere of earth as well as in the air. By combining these elements through the use of channeling wind element obtaining the elements oxygen, helium and Hydrogen are necessary and are a given. Performing Supernova techniques aren't on a scale as a real supernova explosion, but the scientific explanation was given to explain how it can be made...so the amount needed are proportioned well so that the user doesnt need to gather that much in the atmosphere around him. Once those are obtained, they are then heated up and compressed using fire chakra creating a stored thermal energy which gives its a luminous aura(these temperatures are extremely high). Now in order to induce and speed up the collapse of the created compressed energy, lightning chakra is then added to the mix which substitutes as an alternative for the explanation of the nuclear fusion reaction needed to create a proton proton reaction which is basically when all the gathered hydrogen converts into more helium. This is done by high temperatures and high volumes of kinetic energy given off by not only the fire but adding in the lightning chakra.

This reaction collapses the contained energy and becomes a supernova element and thus makes it explode as one.

Not only that but in the Naruto movie, Guardians of the Crescent Moon, Naruto combines the Rasengan with the rays of a crescent moon to engulf it in a blinding white light. This forms a white crescent moon with a star in the Rasengan, making the attack larger and more powerful.

How it works:

Supernova release works in various fashions.

One example to give clarity of how is the manner in which Dust Release is formed; The user will combine the intense heat of fire, and the electricity of lightning to destructive levels, while also wind natures keeping them contained to form a combination of light and energy in his palm(s) which is the combination of the chakra natures and release the contained energy particles in a blast resulting in shocking energy waves and properties of a supernova-like explosion to the surroundings. It generates alot of heat and energy similar to Scorch Release and can come in various colors of the light spectrum as stars can be any color and sometimes a mixture of many.

Simply put, the user is able to create and release energy at a high level to incinerate organic materials and evaporate large volumes of water rapidly. When it comes into contact with water alone it can evaporate almost instantly, leaving nothing behind. Its properties involve shockwaves that can crumble and shatter earth based elements when nearby similar to a stars explosion to nearby planets. When it comes into physical contact with earth based techniques theyre broken down and incinerated from its intense heat.

Weaknesses & Strengths Balancing

The high amounts of accelerated energy generated from supernova gives off a very high temperature, which causes water to evaporate easily. In terms of the Narutoverse, Supernova has a very high tempurature but releases shockwaves which causes it to have more physical destructive capabilities, given its infusion of also wind and lightning.

If supernova comes in contact with elemental mixtures of the same stregnth such as Earth and Water then the water will negate its temperature while the earth eliminates its destructive properties. Coming into contact with Water alone will cause the water to quickly boil/evaporate given the amounts clashing, but will not eliminate its shockwaves/pulses. Vice versa for earth.

Lightning for example is strong against Supernova given that there are three chakra natures working together to keep the violent mix contained and flowing properly. Lightning will disrupt the flow of energy eliminating its energy conduction leading to the decelleration of heat, and no shockwaves to let out etc.

Wind on the other hand handes supernova differently, its able to block the destructive properties of supernova given the physical properties, and able to blow away its heat cooling down the air around the affected area.

Energy based elements such as Dark Release, that have a combination of fire and lightning as its base are easily overcome by supernovas destructive components given its three elemental infusion an that there are not many energy related qualities that will overpower it, except for Radiation which is neutral.​

Supernova has two qualities that give it personality but is also key to fighting it..


Energy The user will release supernova that will have the appearance that of a dark purple aura that has white light emanating from within. This would be an example of a basic usage of a balance of heat and destructive qualities, but depending upon users, and usages it can change for example it can be a mixture of orange/red/blue to represent fire, and lightning with their intense changes in heat/ temperature(thereof lack of shockwaves and qualities that would have been strong to crystaline based elements, now meaning theyre neutral.

Shockwaves The user will be able to mainpulate the pulsing shockwaves of supernova being able to form defenses and contructs of nova energy that would result in a vibrant blue light given more of its respect to the wind/lightning element and less to its destructive power in fire. Meaning less heat and less capable of evaporating large volumes of water in retrospect, giving the element more balance.​

Mystic Fire Release is composed of Fire Release and Lightning Release. The use of one’s Fire chakra grants it unique burning capabilities and properties while Lightning Release grants it an energetic and versatile form. The simultaneous combination of these element and their qualities gives birth to Mystic Fire Release, a magnificent plasma/energy. Mystic Fire Release is perhaps best compared to the existence of a basic skill within the broader category of Fūinjutsu. The Four Violet Flames Battle Encampment utilizes a violet barrier to produce special violet flames. Alone these violet flames possess no special or inherently powerful characteristics, they simply act like generic flames. However, with the manipulative abilities of Fire and Lightning Release the user becomes able to create their own specialized flame, Mystic Fire.​

How it works:

The primary method of forming Mystic Fire from one’s own body involves the simultaneous combination of one’s Lightning and Fire chakras. The purpose of such is to gather Lightning to form the energetic base of the element and Fire to grant it unique and specialized burning-like qualities. The end result is a magnificent energy/plasma-like elemental nature with unique and specialized burning applications.

In terms of its other physical characteristics the flames of Mystic Fire are similar to the flames of Shishienjin because of their neutrality to elemental natures, and inherent strength against raw chakra. Their physical characteristics, aside from its color, are quite similar to Fire and Lightning Release but possess certain key differences. In terms of its similarities with Fire Release, the plasma of Mystic Fire can take the shape of flames but can also take more generic energetic forms as well, such as bolts of energy and waves. This makes Mystic Fire a highly versatile energy-based element. When striking a target they will ignite and spread to engulf the target at high temperatures until they are extinguished, much like the black flames of Amaterasu being able to burn even fire itself. However, unlike typical Fire Release, the energy is not ‘hot’ in the normal sense; one who holds their hand near Mystic Fire do not feel heat as if they would with normal fire. The energy only produces a burning and searing sensation when coming in contact with a victim making them a somewhat deceptive elemental nature. The energy radiates a natural light, much like Fire Release. However this light typically is a dim light matching the color that the Mystic Fire is created as and accentuates the beauty and elegance of the element. Because of this those who stand near high quantities of Mystic Fire do not suffer from oxygen deprivation. Mystic Fire can also be compressed, much like normal Lightning and Fire Release, to gain a form of solidity and tangibility in order to cause explosive damage and allowing them to punch through physical obstacles, should they be used in such a manner.

The most remarkable physical characteristic of Mystic Fire Release is its numerous colors. Because of its nature as a plasma/energetic element which can prevent its own heat from being radiated Mystic Fire can take on any color within the visible light spectrum. This is primarily a cosmetic ability available to wielders of Mystic Fire Release occurs through the user’s control. This control allows the light which radiates out from the element to be selected with great precision allowing a variety of colors within the visible light spectrum, with the exception of invisibility, transparency, or translucency. The spectrum of colors also includes the lack of color as well, producing energy and flames which are pitch black in nature. This ability is drawn from the flames of Shishienjin, which act similar to generic flames but possess their own unique and remarkably beautiful violet color. Through this one can create Mystic Fire flames which can be green, sapphire, or even violet among many others.

As previously mentioned Mystic Fire Release possesses specialized burning capabilities beyond what is normally possible for generic Fire or Lightning Release. While under normal circumstances Mystic Fire acts to burn a target much like generic Fire Release, it possesses a special interaction with absorptive/sealing techniques as well as barriers. The energy of Mystic Fire possesses special ‘burning’ characteristics born from the mixing of one’s own Fire and Lightning chakras. These characteristics grant Mystic Fire an inherent advantage against the above techniques and natures, such as Fūinjutsu (barriers and seals), Dark Release, Water Release Absorption, and other advanced techniques which fall into this category. ✗ Declined: A decent element but you place too much emphasis on the cosmetic aspects of the CE and not enough on the mechanical properties. You need a better justification for the "resistant to sealing/absorption" ability like the inclusion of Fuuinjutsu. Currently it's rather baseless. Also, mention the strength to Fuuin in the description rather than the S/W, since it isn't an element. This would be strong to Dark Absorption but not the Release variant.

Facts that Prove the Element to be Possible (In the Manga Context):While this can always happen in the Naruto-universe, who'd be yelling at a cup of coffee to warm it up? Does that even work? Believe it or not it absolutely does, it just takes a while.

Everything that happens, including warming up a cup of coffee or screaming at the top of your lungs, takes energy. What matters is how much energy there is and what form it all takes. When you yell, you convert the stored up (in physics speak its “potential”) chemical energy in your body into active energy.

The most important thing to remember that the amount of energy is always the same; it can never be spontaneously created or destroyed and thus has to come from somewhere. That way, if you trace it back, the chemical energy in your body came from the potential chemical energy stored in the nutritious bagel you ate for breakfast (essentially a calorie is the stored energy in food). That potential chemical energy in turn came from the wheat plant converting the radiant energy from sunlight into stored chemical energy. The sun shines because of nuclear reactions going on twenty four hours a day (and yes even at night) at its core. All this is rather common-sense proves in the Naruto-universe, that easily are quite very evident.


How it Works:Understanding

So what does all this have to do with me hollering at my morning cup of Joe? It shows that once sound leaves your body it’s not the end of the story. Its energy still needs somewhere to go, so why not into the coffee? On a very tiny scale (as tiny as 1/100,000,000th of a centimeter) everything is made of tiny vibrating particles called molecules. An object’s temperature is the measurement of how fast these molecules are moving around. The faster they’re moving the higher the temperature. Speeding up these molecules takes energy of course, and that’s where the shouting comes in.

Sound is just another form of energy, and one that isn’t too different from heat. Sound waves are the momentary compression and expansion of air molecules as they travel away from their source. What separates sound from heat is essentially how organized these vibrations are. Sound starts out as structured waves at its source that over time dissipates into the general disorder (“entropy”) of the other molecules in the atmosphere. The energy is still there, it’s just being bounced around molecules over a huge area that’s completely disorganized.

This dissipated sound energy bouncing around air molecules now takes the same form as heat. Both are exciting molecules, making them vibrate around faster and faster. So what happens when you add heat to something, it raises its temperature. “Temperature” is the measurement of how fast the molecules in a substance are moving, while “heat” is the net amount of thermal energy throughout the entire object.

Sound carries a incredibly and relatively low amount of energy while warming up a cup of coffee an appreciable amount takes very much more. The average human yells at about 80 decibels, which carries along with it about .001 watts of energy, about a 100,000 times less than the energy needed to light a standard 100 watt bulb. If you were to focus this energy at the average 8 oz cup of coffee (we’ll round up to .25 liters to make calculations easier) the average yell lasting a single second would warm the cup of coffee .00000095 degrees Celsius.

There are a lot of implied assumptions when we do this “back of the envelope” calculation. (Personally I prefer using napkins.) We’re assuming things like a perfect transfer of energy from your yell to the coffee, a perfectly insulated cup that will never let any heat escape, and an unending even stream of energy. Obviously creating such a perfect system is extremely difficult in real life, but as we’ll know, with the ability of chakra. It’s only possible within realms of Naruto-universe rationale.

Creation

The mixing of both Lightning chakra and Fire chakra, in a chakra fashion that's much similar like-sound chakra with more control to create Pulse chakra. The Mixed Lightning and Fire chakra harness the fine kinetic energy like waves, and types of similar properties but waves become unable to bounce off objects. When conjured after with Katon chakra it enhances most of the wave's energy making them into powerful heated waves, which would be able explode/melt material upon contact depending on subject of elemental interaction. These waves would so to say, appear as invisible wave-like fires, when launched before fading out as a melting/exploding echo. While the user is molding Pulse chakra, their raw chakra will polish up the heated new chakra and with shape maintained with Chakra Control to keep it stabilized.

That makes the opponent unable to use what ever body part is hit for 1 turn. Even if the opponent manages to evade, chances are they still will be hit by the sound-heat release. If that's the case this jutsus damage is halved.

Much like Water Release, when this element is faced with Pulse Release; the wavelengths absorbed by the Earth's molecules will not distribute the energy which would make the materials to rapidly heat up and explode/ melt.

Rather the worst much up when faced with this element, Pulse release extraordinary formidable toward fire release-based elements as it's able to not only dispatch the element altogether but also very absorbent of the heat given by the element which in turn enhances its abilities.​

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context):

The Naruto and World and real world have been proven to be similar in many aspects, but the one our attentions is attracted most to, would be the physical laws. We have seen example of how gravity affects matter similarly to our worlds. We have seen how fire feeds on oxygen in order to continue burning, which is another similarity. We have also seen how when a flame is lit for a continuous amounts of time, it will eventually run out of resources and turn off, except for the heat, which will still be present in that closed environment.

This element can be proven in a multitude of ways. When total entropy is reached, there is no more energy to spend. A good example of this is a cup of tea. Now suppose your cup of tea is hot. The tea has a lot of energy compared to the room the tea is in. Over time the heat in the tea will spread into the room. The tea will become colder. This is because the energy (heat) in the tea escapes into the surrounding area. Once the tea has gone cold, there is no more heat that can be spread. The tea has thus reached total entropy. We have seen from these examples how matter and energy, prefers going from one state of order, into disorder when it can. Energy itself, though it’s raw power is eternal and energy can neither vanish nor be created new, it has a fundamental feature which is the fact that under the right circumstances it will spread. This spreading of energy occurs naturally in closed rounds of environments. And even though energy can into right conditions keep itself connected and together, it is states that when energy can, it will surely continue its natural effect, that would be spreading. This natural feature of energy is called Entropy. We cannot dispute the fact that entropy itself exists in the Naruto world, but we can very well say that these features might not be able to be mimicked, but there we are wrong, as we have seen proof of this happening as well. In Myōbokuzan, we have seen how Fukasaku was in the possession of a staff which was able to beat the natural energy of Naruto, when the control over the natural energy failed. Even though this was truly limited to natural energy, we have an indisputable proof, that energy, can be forcefully released from a human body, allowing ninja to have used that property at least once.

Seeing how this property of energy exist, along with the fact that we have seen examples of energy being distributed, we try to mimic it in the closest term. By using natural abilities of fire release and lightning release. The very rough, destructive forces of fire release which have a tendency to weaken the link not only in cases of matter, but even energy itself. As we have seen fire be able to burn through wind easily, oxidizing things around it. With the unpredictable violent nature of lightning, which is defined as moving forms of energy, under a very advanced chakra control, the user will be able to create the raw form of entropy, which will be a very bright, slightly grey colored form of energy, which moves in a random matter. Once raw energy comes into contact with it, a much sped up form of entropy will be applied on this form of energy, spreading everything up at very high speeds.

How it works:

We have seen in the series multiple times, that fire release has a very strong ability of breaking things apart into more primary components, just like fire has that probability in real life, in Naruto series, we have seen that in these very hot and large temperatures, it can violently, take down very solid structures, to simpler forms. Fire as well, has a property of dispersing very fast. We have seen that if they have no solid fuel, or chakra supply, like when Sasuke and Itachi were facing with the grand fire ball and Amaterasu, the moment they stopped fueling these flames, they dissipated quick, meaning that they ran out of fuel, and extinguished. Another property, is that we have seen lightning release, when it was fully uncontrollable surge or technique, it would very quickly, spread as fast as possible in different areas in space. Along with that, we very well know of the weakening properties of lightning, especially concerning bonds. We have seen lightning break apart matter very easily, from earth, to even more solid products, if the level of lightning is strong enough.

Energy itself, cannot be created or destroyed, this rule we have already set up, and very well understood, along those lines, we also are very aware that energy has the feature of dispersion, which means that at some given indefinite amount of time, it will spread, until it reaches equilibrium. Using the destructive properties of lightning, along with a careful usage, of the fast dispersion rates of fire, we carefully merge them together in an element, using those properties separately, fueling the dispersion of the flames, with the quick and destructive properties of lightning, in a sense, adding lightning features to the flames on its own, along with a very precise and careful chakra control, the user will be able to mimic, a certain feature, which is rapid, energy dispersion. Once come into contact with the bright Grey flames of the created element, chakra will forcefully be charged by lightning, and fire will slowly weaken the bonds, allowing entropy to do the rest, and spreading it up forcefully. In a sense, the created element, will be able to weaken the connection between energy together, the moment that it lays contact on them, forcefully spreading energies such as heat, electric, and vibration energies, making them thin out on the battlefield so much, that the property is lost. Called the same as the effect it is trying to mimic, entropy is found in 3 releases or forms.

Arrow of time: Base Release

This is the most basic form of entropy through which the user will be able to as before, create the raw form of entropy which is very bright in appearance and very light and free flowing moving as it moves through space. This energy will seemingly have no temperature to it and no weight as it can’t be displayed as matter in the first place. Once this flame like energy will come into contact with forms of energy, it will starts to continuously spread the energy at blazingly fast speeds until it reaches an equilibrium with the environment around. The traces of chakra and properties of the energy even though very small, can be seen through a sharingan, but to a normal user when entropy will come into contact with the real attack, the attack will seemingly vanish in a matter of seconds. And considering that Entropy has no real harm to solid bodies, the user can cloak parts of his body with this element without any fear for harm, using it in many versatile manners against enemies.

Maxwell’s Demon: Advanced Release

Through further chakra control and larger amounts, the user will be able to create a further advanced form of entropy. This advanced form, will be used along with the ability of shape manipulation to mold the bright colored energy into shapes which are just limited by the user’s imagination. The shapes now will seem almost solid with quite a resilience to them in many cases tough enough to rival the harness of earth composites and minerals which are generally used for crafting weapons and armor. The level of entropy in these cases are higher than the base version, with the potency of the tools created being a lot larger than the space they can encompass. Along with the fact that entropy does not harm a user once touched, these shapes can be used in further manners as even normal weapons in combat. The advanced stage can also be reached by further affecting masses of entropy already created from the base release.

Erebus’ Delectation: Destructive Release

The most advanced and destructive form of the element, doesn’t change greatly from the versions above in the level of shape and nature manipulation. But through a further more advanced chakra control and chakra amounts, entropy can reach it;s most dangerous state which can be used for harming enemies at a very quick rate. The advanced form of entropy allows dispersion of energy even within solid objects after being in a close proximity to it, or connecting with it in the first place. The dispersion would energy would be roughly forced out of the solid body at quick rates, and can even work against chakra in living or non-living matter. The connection to the locations of the chakra is also a very important status as the closer the entropic flames are to chakra or chakra channels itself, the faster the rate of dispersion would be. But Chakra isn’t the only energy limit, such can work as well against heat or electric energy.​

The main difference between entropy and similar elements which have the effect of pure destruction such as Destruction Release or Forceful Decay is that entropy does not focus itself on breaking the matter or energy apart in more basic elements and components. Rather it focuses on the dispersion of energy at quick rates. The effects of it would be clearly limited to raw amounts of energy, as matter itself can’t be touched no matter how strong and fast the rate of entropy is. The general idea was the creation of an element mainly defensive based which will be able to disperse amounts of energy in the battlefield making them non applicable to chakra manipulation and control anymore. The idea was creating a more unique versatile element, which need to be used in caution along with other ninja abilities.

☳ Most Solid or Liquid CE - As they are all non-energy based, and mostly have structures which surpass both their parent element like earth and water, Entropy will not be able to win in face-offs against those special elements, making it extremely vulnerable to it.

✗ Declined: This is was a really well-made CE but I can't approve this. I was waiting until the part where you'd demonstrate why this is different enough from Decay to warrant approval but it never came. Indeed it differs from Decay Release mechanically but the end result in a battle is the same. This is just a weaker version of Decay that can only be used against energy-based elements and not on metals or organics.

On itself, entropy, will be spread in forms of radiation, which will generally be in a form similar to electromagnetic waves, very similar to sound waves, just slower in forms of being released. This element precisely works only on amounts of pure energy which can be in the vicinity, or trapped within solid matters and constructs. On touch, the energy will be insanely cold, with temperatures almost in the lower spectrums of the negative temperature scale, but that is mostly due to its capability of dispersing the most abundant form of energy, which is heat. Entropy itself varies from similar elements which have been said to be creating the same features at it does, as it does not rely on breaking matter on further components, like decay does, but rather, it focuses on dissipation of energy in the battlefield, having that specific form of energy get lost in the battlefield, not applicable to manipulation anymore. This energy released, will always be in the form of heat. Once energy comes into aspect, entropy will very easily, destroy the connection of the energy, having a certain element of energy, lose its natural property and release itself as heat in the battlefield. The field will naturally mold itself into a hotter state, but due to the vast dispersion it will barely be noticeable. Entropy, rather than Decay, does not rely on direct contact with the said property, rather it relies on coming into the vicinity of this energy. Entropy itself, does not stay in its solid form quick, rather it radiates. This radiation is called Entropic Radiation, and this radiation is capable of moving through any form of energy or solid matter no matter how dense, but it will of course depend heavily on the power of the technique. Entropy can be found in 2 main releases.

Arrow of Time: Main Release
This will be the main and basic shape of entropy which is used generally by the user in the lower ranked range of the element. This release will create the energy, which will be a very bright energy, with gray locations, which will dissipate really quickly once created. This dissipation can be either omnidirectional or located, and will always be in form of a wave. A wave which will naturally obscure vision and move about with the speed slightly slower than sound. The waves will move almost like a really slow beam of light. Bright white light with hues of grey. These waves of radiation are called Entropic radiation and can move through matter and sorts of energy. This radiation will have a very particular and specific effect, as it will essentially, rip through any sort of energy, forcing the connections of one another to become weak. We know that energy is made out of very fast moving particles and entropy will be increasing the rate of natural spreading, which will force the energy to be released all over the battlefield very quickly. This radiation cannot only be based on spreading however, as at will, the user can also encompass different amounts of space, in a sense, a closed hollow form, and dissipate any form of energy that including Chakra, Thermal Energy, Electric Energy, Potential and Kinetic Energy ect. This same particular effect will occur on solids, due to the radiation being able to move through matter. The amount of energy released however, along with the duration is technique based and will further be elaborated in the description of each technique.

Maxwell’s Demon: Advanced Release

This is the most advanced form of entropy, and it is both applicable in the higher ranked techniques along with the durational turn based ones. This release will comfort to the highest level manipulation of the element where the actual strength and pressure of the element along with the concentration and potency are the largest. This will result in Entropy finally remained in that very distinct and concentrated shape, which is the very flame which is bright white, but this time, with a larger amount of grey imbued into them. This flame will at all times, radiate the very same radiation, but this time, it will be very closely connected and tied to that specific object. The user will at all times spend chakra in this object to maintain the flame, or even a shape or construct made by this flame which is essentially high enough concentration of density which will make the shapes strong enough to play on par with tools and weapons, or even solid elements in terms of resilience. Where this stands out truly however, is the fact that Entropic flames, can at will, dissipate into strong blasts of radiation which can in turn be very dangerous, even for the user if unprotected. These flames, will have the very same effect, but they can also be used in one more fashion, which would be the entropic opposite, which is slowing down the spreading to the point of it making release of matter and elements almost impossible. This would in turn even add solidifying features to elements which naturally have no solid shape. But due to that solidification, neither of those elements or constructs can be affected by any sort of outer contact.​

This element was made mostly and purely, for defensive purposes and utilizing a property which has been done with a similar effect, but with another way, and in another form different from before. Entropy differs from Decay not only in the shape and different elemental interactions, but it relies on spreading and total nullification of energetic parts of elements and properties given to other elements and constructs by the mentions of energy, instead of it breaking said matter into more basic ones. Entropy doesn’t make visible the changes made of the element in the environment unless to those who can make out the spread energy or chakra, rather, it dissipates them to no hope of control or manipulation unlike decay. Entropy simply deals with matter in a different concept and direction and different form what Decay does, which makes it stand out as a different form of combat, more versatile, concise and unique. Also it abides by the rules it describes and doesn’t bend any in form of reaching and creating something which should not be possible. In turn, it is not just a fancy form of fire, which can do anything, rather it is a radiating form of energy which allows total control over energetic based combat.

✗ Declined: "it is not just a fancy form of fire, which can do anything". That decay roast though. While I appreciate your effort in differentiating this from Decay, the two elements still elicit the same result. Even if Entropy works by proximity and has different mechanics, it has too much of a likeness to Decay. The elemental S/W are almost identical. I'm sorry but I don't think this can be approved.

Custom element English name: Acheron




The element is based on: Water

Facts that prove the element to be possible (in the manga context): Acheron is made up of compounds/atoms that can be found inside of the human body, thus the source can be replicated through the manipulation of chakra. It is a flammable as well as corrosive liquid that was based on two elements/abilities shown in the manga. One of which is the Toad's Oil-based Water ninjutsu which was shown to have flammable/explosive properties. Meanwhile, Mei's Boil Release has displayed great corrosive properties with its vapor medium, which by extension is water as well.

How it works: A very similar process to how Medical Shinobi are able to use the sample of a poison/chemical compound as a source to produce more through chakra manipulation. With a similar concept to this, the user uses his own body as a template and source to duplicate with his chakra, the atoms that make up the element and using water in its liquid form as its host. This means that the user is not limited to being able to release it from his body, but also materialize it from the air or other sources of water by manipulating the chakra for the effective conversion.

Acheron is a colorless fuming liquid with a pungent, burning odor. Extremely corrosive to skin and respiratory tissues, both as a liquid and vapor. Vapors are heavier than air and are only released after being ignited. The element reacts violently on contact with water to liberate heat and hydrogen chloride gas. The user is able to manipulate the compounds at will in order make the source flammable from a distance while still carrying its corrosive properties. This is done in order to project the user from being harmed whilst releasing it from their body. The corrosive levels can also be controlled at will which will be up to the checker to decide in future techniques to be submitted. The fumes produced by the release of Acheron can not be manipulated directly, however the still exist alongside the liquid. (Distance up to the checker to decide, CJ wise.)

The fumes produced by the pungent liquid if inhaled can cause dizziness or even suffocation, with irritation through the air passage ways, causing inflammation. If liquid is digested, it could potentially cause the chemical reaction to occur, forcing the heat to be released outwards or the corrosiveness of the liquid to burn through the tissue. On contact with an exposed area, the corrosiveness is strong enough to eat through flesh and even bone if not stopped, triggering a reaction with the moisture inside the body that will release burning heat from the natural chemical reaction. Just like any other Water-Based technique, the element can be used in all its liquid-based concepts; ranging from being compressed, crystalline-like nature or even free flowing. As long as the state stays as a liquid, the user is free to manipulate as he wishes just like any ordinary water-style technique.

(Tegotae Suiton) - Acheron Release:

Description: The user will clap his hands together and focus his chakra in the moisture in the air in order to materialize a source of Acheron. The user will then proceed to shape manipulate the source into a spherical prison.

Chakra: 20
Damage: 40
Description: The user will release basic streams or projectiles of Acheron, moderate in size. These could range from golf ball sized up to a basketball. The stream can be compared to the pressurizing jet produced by Tobirama.

Conditions to be able to use it: Water & Ninjutsu Mastery

Before being Ignited; Is weak to:
Lightning - Although it can not be conducted, the lightning would ignite the sourceIt causes the source to ignite
Earth - The solidity of the element would easily overpower it like regular water.

Before being ignited; Is strong against:

Fire/Fire Based Elements - The heat produced/released by either the chemical reaction to water or ignition of fire's heat/flame would completely overpower it.
Water/Water Based Elements - The heat produced by the reaction upon contact would completely evaporate the opposing elements.
Organic Matter Based Elements - Being able to corrode them.

After being ignited; Is weak to:
- Wind

After being ignited; Is strong to:
- Water/Water Based - Evaporate
- Earth/Earth Based - Melt through with heat and corrosiveness.
- Organic/Matter Based - Corrode/Burn
- Ice/Cold Elements - Melt/Evaporate

Note: The ignited strengths and weaknesses were included in the case that a technique is ignited by a lesser ranked technique and continues forward as a corrosive liquid lit on fire.
