Omegas: Created after the Explosion at the weapons plant in charge of making military weapons. The Omega Gene was a super solider Gene designed to react differently to each person injected giving them a different set off abilities. The abilities range from super enhanced hearing, speed, sight, strength and in some cases brain function and regeneration there are different levels of Omegas.
Level 4
Omega class where the Gene Actually worked as designed when the Omega Gene gets activated all the super enhancements integrate flawlessly. Bounty Hunters Office of Visor City Advisory Depending on the person they use their enhancements for better or worse. If faced with chasing down a Level 4 Omega wait and get back up teams of eight unless you are a Level 4 Omega bounty hunter then dead or alive bounties will be payed.
Level 3
Level 3s with all the super enhancements they mostly end up losing their sanity as they can’t handle the higher brain function enhancement.
Bounty Hunters Office of Visor City Advisory do not take on a Level 3 Omega by yourself teams of six or more recommended with a Level 4 Omega in your group best action remove the head or the heart.

Chapter 1
The Girl With The Legends Weapon
12:15 am in sector 19 and the full moon glows bright over the quarantine zone
A man walks quickly looking around nervously suddenly an arrow pierces his right knee he falls to the ground letting out a loud roar.
Tarlee: Gotcha now stay there for a little longer.
Tarlee draws another arrow and gets ready to fire the man’s eyes glow orange as he stands up again then reaching down he rips out the arrow from his knee.
A flash of orange and the wound completely heals Tarlee’s eyes widen in shock
Tarlee: Damn since when can they do that.
She fires the arrow but it is caught by the man before it strikes his head he lets out a howl and starts to run towards where Tarlee is standing
Tarlee: Damn, Damn, Damn
She quick fires three more arrows but the man dodges them with ease Tarlee drops her bow and begins to draw her sword when another figure appears in front of her.
A quick slash of his blade and the man collapses blood flows from his chest
Wiping his sword then putting it in its sheath he turns his head to look at Tarlee
Unknown: Arrows are useless against a level 2 omega quick and easy finish is best either the heart or remove the head.
Tarlee: Just who the hell do you think you are that was my bounty he was worth $500 I could have handled it.
Unknown: I am not here to claim the bounty you can have it. I just did you a favour before it killed you and if you keep yelling we will see how well you handle yourself because more omegas will show up.
He starts to walk away as Tarlee is picking up her bow and folding it.
Tarlee: hey you where are you headed.
Unknown: visor city in sector 21 why?
Tarlee: great that’s where I need to go to collect my pay since we are headed the same way we should travel together watching each other’s backs that sort of thing.
Unknown: I don’t need a partner besides you would be more of a hindrance than help.
Tarlee: I can hold my own and I didn’t ask to be your partner just to travel to visor city with you that is all after that you can do what you like I don’t care.
Looking down at the ground he breaths out
Unknown: Ok just until visor
Tarlee: ok we better find a place to stay in sector 19 by the way my names Tarlee what is your name unless you want me to keep calling you hey you.
Thorn: My name is Thorn and we won’t need to find any place to stay.
Thorn presses a button on his gauntlet a few seconds later a hover cycle glides towards him
Thorn: get on we’ll be there in a few of hours
Tarlee: great haven’t rode on a cycle since my dads
Tarlee leaps onto the back of the cycle
Tarlee: what are you waiting for we are wasting the night unless you have a solar shield on this thing we should move.
Thorn lets out a sighs shakes his head climbs onto the cycle revs it and turns in the direction of visor city.
An hour into the trip Tarlee had fallen asleep Thorn presses a button to raise the side barriers so she wouldn’t fall off.
Thorn: Kids.
Three and a half hours later the lights of Visor city came into view Thorn gives Tarlee a nudge she looks up and wipes her eyes
Tarlee: what?
Thorn: We are near Visor and about to enter decontamination you need to be awake.
The cycle glides into the outer tunnel and stops the tunnel glows green a voice comes over a speaker in the tunnel.
Voice: please exit your vehicle and stand still decontamination will begin shortly.
They both stand and a wave of energy passes over them.
Voice: decontamination complete welcome to visor city
The gates of the city slide open Tarlee runs into the city turns around and waves at Thorn
Tarlee: thanks thorn bye
Thorn shakes his head and walks to his cycle looking at the back he notices Tarlee had left her weapons in the side holder he grabs them and calls out
Thorn: Tarlee you forgot your ...... Damn kids
Tarlee was nowhere in sight he looks down at the handle of the sword and notices an inscription Blake’s.
Thorn: how can she afford these? Guess I should check with Mark see if he knows where she lives.
Thorn gets on his cycle and puts the weapons back in the side holder gliding around visor city quite a few people still awake as the city is famous for its night life with more than its fair share of clubs open very late. Half an hour later he arrives at Blake’s weapons in the business district Mark is standing out front setting up shop early as usual he had just finished opening the service window shutter when he notices thorn getting of his cycle.
Mark: Thorn what are you doing here? Don’t tell me you broke another sword.
Thorn: No I just came by to see if you know who owns these weapons so I can return them.
Thorn shows the weapons that Tarlee left behind mark eyes widen in shock as he looks over the weapons
Mark: where did you get them?
Thorn: this girl that I met out in the quarantine zone last night left them in my cycle. Is something wrong?
Mark: This girls name wouldn’t happen to be Tarlee would it?
Thorn: err yes it is. How did you know?
Mark: she happens to be my niece and I gather she was bounty hunting again by the sounds of what you just said.
Tarlee coming back from the bounty office pocking the cash she collected walks around the corner and sees Thorn talking to her uncle she then spots the weapons in Thorns hands.
Tarlee: oh no uncle mark is going to explode I really don’t think I can take another lecture.
Mark sees Tarlee standing there staring at them he motions for her to come to him Tarlee walks towards over very slowly knowing that she is about to be told off. Tarlee stops if front of her uncle and looks straight down at the ground waiting for him to go on a rant yet again Mark begins to yell at her.
Mark: WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING YOUNG LADY I TOLD YOU LAST TIME YOU ARE NOT TO TAKE YOUR PARENTS WEAPONS OUT OF THE SHOP AND TO NEVER GO OUT BOUNTY HUNTING OMEGAS. IT IS WHAT GOT YOUR PARENTS KILLED DO YOU WANT TO END UP DEAD LIKE THEM. NOW GO INSIDE PUT THE WEAPONS BACK AND GO TO YOUR ROOM WE WILL TALK LATER ABOUT YOUR PUNISHMENT.
Tarlee grabs the weapons and runs inside crying.
Mark breathes a couple of heavy breaths and reaches inside and presses a button on the small computer near the service window. The sign above the shop lights up and the scroll bar underneath it advertises the current specials. The holographic assistant appears behind the counter at the service window. Mark sits down on one of the benches outside the shop then looks back at Thorn with a slight smile his face.
Thorn: don’t you think that was a little harsh.
Mark: I’m just trying to protect her Tarlee’s parents were killed hunting a very dangerous level 3 Omega in Sector 14.
Thorn: You mean her parents are Lucas and Zara Blake?
Mark: Yes.
Thorn: The legendary Level 4 Omega bounty hunter team Lucas and Zara?
Mark: The very same
Thorn: I thought they had a son named Jacob
Mark: Omega Gene turned him into a Level 3 Omega he wreaked half of visor before he vanished. Tarlee doesn’t remember she was to young at the time at the time I would ask you to please if you see her again not to tell her. Better if she doesn’t know.
Thorn: Not my place and what about Tarlee does she have the Omega Gene
Mark: Yes but it is not active and I hope it stays that way.
Thorn: Ok well good luck.
Mark: How about you stay for breakfast you might not need much sleep but I know you have to eat.
Thorn: Not this time I need to be on my way more jobs to do.
Mark: Ok Thorn you know where my shop is if you need anything.
Chapter 2
Family Reunion
Thorn gets on his cycle a loud hum comes from above Thorn looks up as the blue glow of the solar shield of visor city appears just as the sun begins to rise he smiles and revs his cycle gliding through the streets of the visor business district. After a few mins he arrives at the bounty hunters office he looks over the notice board of current bounties he takes the top sheets of the two Level 2 bounties and uses his I.D. stamp on the bottom sheets to signal he has taken the bounties. Thorn enters the bounty office then comes out with a couple of brown backpacks and starts to put them in the side holders of his cycle.
Off in the distance sirens ring out and they seem to be getting closer just as Thorn is about to leave a white car with Visor City police written on the sides glides in front of him and stops. A female officer dressed in the standard blue and grey patrol uniform steps out of the car.
Female Officer: You just came out of the bounty office did you see Tarlee Blake in there?
Thorn: No last I saw her she was at her uncle’s house. Why did she do something wrong?
Female officer: It was her uncle that called us she has run away from home
Thorn raises an eyebrow and turns to face the officer
Thorn: You usually go chasing around after missing people with lights and sirens blearing do you?
Female officer: Not usually but Tarlee is a special case
Thorn squints his eyes and stares at the Officer
Thorn: You mean because of her Omega Gene don’t you?
Female officer: Just making sure she turn all freak and start attacking people at random we have to keep everyone’s safety in mind last time an Omega got lose in the city it demolished half of it before escaping.
Thorn: Not all Omegas go crazy and destroy cities there is some exceptions you know. Your attitude is a good way to start a panic and have them hunting her
Female officer: Just doing my job if you see her please report it sir and have a nice day.
The officer gets back in the car and glides off Thorn spits on the ground where the officer stood.
Thorn: Racist
Thorn gets on his cycle and heads towards the entrance of the city he comes to a stop as another vehicle is in the decontamination tunnel.
Tarlee walks out from between two buildings Thorn catches sight of her and waves her over.
Thorn: You have the police out looking for you not a good time to be trying to leave the city I think you should go home and speak to your uncle before you go anywhere else.
Tarlee: I left him a holovid he just did what he usually does and panics I can take of myself after all he doesn’t even know if my Omega Gene will become active.
Thorn: You know about your Omega Gene oh wait let me guess sector 19 the scanners near the entrance.
Tarlee: That’s right I had no idea why my uncle tried to keep me working at his shop and out of things like joining the police or the military and bounty hunting until now.
Thorn: He was just looking out for you if you leave they are going to start a full scale man hunt for you and it won’t be pretty.
Tarlee: already fixed told the police officer who stopped me I’m going to my aunt’s place in gaze city in sector 13 just as I said in the holovid I left.
Thorn smiles and shakes his head.
Thorn: Guess you’ll need a lift.
Tarlee: If it isn’t too much trouble and if you want to complete those bounties along the way I won’t mind at all
Thorn: Get on and we will see what happens along the way shall we.
Tarlee gets on the back of the cycle and puts her weapons in the side holders the gate slides open and the other vehicle glides past them as they enter the tunnel. The gate slides close behind them and a voice comes over the speaker
Voice: the current temperature outside is 212 please activate your vehicles solar shield and do not leave your vehicle for any reason.
Thorn activates the solar shield and the exit gate slides open
Voice: thank you for visiting visor city safe travels please visit again.
Thorn revs the cycle and glides out of the tunnel as the gates open the sunlight gleaming brightly over the quarantine zone some shadows can be seen scattering into the ruins of the old city now mostly over run with Omegas kicked out of sectors that have a low tolerance for them.
Tarlee: So which sector are we starting with Partner?
Thorn: I told you earlier I don’t need a partner but you might be able to help might as well use your skills until we get to your aunties.
Tarlee: Awesome so where to first
Thorn: Sector 18 a Level 2 and a small group of Level 1s have a nice theft ring going and it needs to be broken up should be fun.
Tarlee: Interesting definition of fun but I could get use to it.
Thorn laughs loudly.
As they were passing the old city a figure hidden in the shadows was watching them very carefully a grin appears on his face as he disappears into the old city
Three and a half hours later they arrive at sector 18 the gates are wide open and smoke is floating around and the solar shield is flickering
There is a green pulses coming from Thorn’s gauntlet
Thorn stops the cycle and opens a compartment at the front of the cycle he pulls out a gauntlet like his then hands it to Tarlee.
Thorn: put this on it will indicate when an Omega apart from the wearer of the gauntlet and me is close by and also we can communicate by them and if you press the orange button it activates a personal solar shield. Are there any questions?
Tarlee: yeah what is with the green glow?
Thorn: green means a high level Omega, Yellow a low level Omega and the quicker it pulses the closer they are to you got it.
Tarlee: got it.
Tarlee puts on the gauntlet and they both activate the personal solar shields and get off the cycle Tarlee walks towards the gates Thorn grabs her by the arm.
Thorn: you stay close we have no idea what happened in there and have your sword ready at all times to dangerous to try and use your bow and if we do get separated and you get in trouble press the blue button it is a locator only I can trace through my gauntlet.
Tarlee: ok press the blue button if in trouble got it.
They walk into sector 18 swords drawn there are a few bodies laying just inside the gates blood is spattered on walls of the buildings and on the ground a rush of wind and Thorn grabs Tarlee and pulls her aside just as a steel beam flies past them and out the entrance a voice shouts from in the smoke.
Voice: Get out of here he will kill...
The voice is cut short and a loud scream replaces it then silence a loud burst of laughter breaks the silence followed by the sound of footsteps running away and a crazy sounding voice screams at them
Crazy voice: come on bounty hunters I know you’re here catch me if you can
Thorn looks at Tarlee she is a little shaken
Tarlee: wow he must have really lost his mind if he can do all this and enjoy it
Thorn: you okay I can handle this if you want to stay by the cycle.
Tarlee: I’m fine just don’t see how someone can enjoy this carnage
Thorn motions with his head for Tarlee to follow they continue slowly the smoke swirls around them as the walk further into sector 18 settlement Thorn stops at an intersection. Tarlee doesn’t notice because of the smoke and keeps walking paying more attention to the pulsing green glow coming from the gauntlet and walks into the settlement centre where the smoke has cleared Tarlee sees a man standing at the fountain the green glow no longer pulsing.
Tarlee reaches down and presses the blue button never taking her eyes off the man at the fountain as he turns around to face her.
Man: well look at you all grown up it is uncanny you look just like her you know
Tarlee: who do I look like?
Man: our mother
Thorn comes running and stops next to Tarlee
Thorn: leave her out of this Jacob if you are looking for a fight I will be happy to oblige you
Tarlee: (stuttering) our mother? Jacob?
Jacob: hmm I am not surprised they didn’t tell you about me guess I didn’t give them enough time as I thought in between wiping out half of Visor and then killing them when they came to hunt me down.
Tarlee collapse to her knees tears running down her cheeks breathing heavy like she was out of breath
Jacob: I guess uncle is good at keeping secrets as well.

Mark: WHAT THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU’RE DOING YOUNG LADY I TOLD YOU LAST TIME YOU ARE NOT TO TAKE YOUR PARENTS WEAPONS OUT OF THE SHOP AND TO NEVER GO OUT BOUNTY HUNTING OMEGAS. IT IS WHAT GOT YOUR PARENTS KILLED DO YOU WANT TO END UP DEAD LIKE THEM. NOW GO INSIDE PUT THE WEAPONS BACK AND GO TO YOUR ROOM WE WILL TALK LATER ABOUT YOUR PUNISHMENT.
Tarlee grabs the weapons and runs inside crying.
Mark breathes a couple of heavy breaths and reaches inside and presses a button on the small computer near the service window. The sign above the shop lights up and the scroll bar underneath it advertises the current specials. The holographic assistant appears behind the counter at the service window. Mark sits down on one of the benches outside the shop then looks back at Thorn with a slight smile his face.
Thorn: don’t you think that was a little harsh.
Mark: I’m just trying to protect her Tarlee’s parents were killed hunting a very dangerous level 3 Omega in Sector 14.
Thorn: You mean her parents are Lucas and Zara Blake?
Mark: Yes.
Thorn: The legendary Level 4 Omega bounty hunter team Lucas and Zara?
Mark: The very same
Thorn: I thought they had a son named Jacob
Mark: Omega Gene turned him into a Level 3 Omega he wreaked half of visor before he vanished. Tarlee doesn’t remember she was to young at the time at the time I would ask you to please if you see her again not to tell her. Better if she doesn’t know.
Thorn: Not my place and what about Tarlee does she have the Omega Gene
Mark: Yes but it is not active and I hope it stays that way.
Thorn: Ok well good luck.
Mark: How about you stay for breakfast you might not need much sleep but I know you have to eat.
Thorn: Not this time I need to be on my way more jobs to do.
Mark: Ok Thorn you know where my shop is if you need anything.
Chapter 2
Family Reunion
Thorn gets on his cycle a loud hum comes from above Thorn looks up as the blue glow of the solar shield of visor city appears just as the sun begins to rise he smiles and revs his cycle gliding through the streets of the visor business district. After a few mins he arrives at the bounty hunters office he looks over the notice board of current bounties he takes the top sheets of the two Level 2 bounties and uses his I.D. stamp on the bottom sheets to signal he has taken the bounties. Thorn enters the bounty office then comes out with a couple of brown backpacks and starts to put them in the side holders of his cycle.
Off in the distance sirens ring out and they seem to be getting closer just as Thorn is about to leave a white car with Visor City police written on the sides glides in front of him and stops. A female officer dressed in the standard blue and grey patrol uniform steps out of the car.
Female Officer: You just came out of the bounty office did you see Tarlee Blake in there?
Thorn: No last I saw her she was at her uncle’s house. Why did she do something wrong?
Female officer: It was her uncle that called us she has run away from home
Thorn raises an eyebrow and turns to face the officer
Thorn: You usually go chasing around after missing people with lights and sirens blearing do you?
Female officer: Not usually but Tarlee is a special case
Thorn squints his eyes and stares at the Officer
Thorn: You mean because of her Omega Gene don’t you?
Female officer: Just making sure she turn all freak and start attacking people at random we have to keep everyone’s safety in mind last time an Omega got lose in the city it demolished half of it before escaping.
Thorn: Not all Omegas go crazy and destroy cities there is some exceptions you know. Your attitude is a good way to start a panic and have them hunting her
Female officer: Just doing my job if you see her please report it sir and have a nice day.
The officer gets back in the car and glides off Thorn spits on the ground where the officer stood.
Thorn: Racist
Thorn gets on his cycle and heads towards the entrance of the city he comes to a stop as another vehicle is in the decontamination tunnel.
Tarlee walks out from between two buildings Thorn catches sight of her and waves her over.
Thorn: You have the police out looking for you not a good time to be trying to leave the city I think you should go home and speak to your uncle before you go anywhere else.
Tarlee: I left him a holovid he just did what he usually does and panics I can take of myself after all he doesn’t even know if my Omega Gene will become active.
Thorn: You know about your Omega Gene oh wait let me guess sector 19 the scanners near the entrance.
Tarlee: That’s right I had no idea why my uncle tried to keep me working at his shop and out of things like joining the police or the military and bounty hunting until now.
Thorn: He was just looking out for you if you leave they are going to start a full scale man hunt for you and it won’t be pretty.
Tarlee: already fixed told the police officer who stopped me I’m going to my aunt’s place in gaze city in sector 13 just as I said in the holovid I left.
Thorn smiles and shakes his head.
Thorn: Guess you’ll need a lift.
Tarlee: If it isn’t too much trouble and if you want to complete those bounties along the way I won’t mind at all
Thorn: Get on and we will see what happens along the way shall we.
Tarlee gets on the back of the cycle and puts her weapons in the side holders the gate slides open and the other vehicle glides past them as they enter the tunnel. The gate slides close behind them and a voice comes over the speaker
Voice: the current temperature outside is 212 please activate your vehicles solar shield and do not leave your vehicle for any reason.
Thorn activates the solar shield and the exit gate slides open
Voice: thank you for visiting visor city safe travels please visit again.
Thorn revs the cycle and glides out of the tunnel as the gates open the sunlight gleaming brightly over the quarantine zone some shadows can be seen scattering into the ruins of the old city now mostly over run with Omegas kicked out of sectors that have a low tolerance for them.
Tarlee: So which sector are we starting with Partner?
Thorn: I told you earlier I don’t need a partner but you might be able to help might as well use your skills until we get to your aunties.
Tarlee: Awesome so where to first
Thorn: Sector 18 a Level 2 and a small group of Level 1s have a nice theft ring going and it needs to be broken up should be fun.
Tarlee: Interesting definition of fun but I could get use to it.
Thorn laughs loudly.
As they were passing the old city a figure hidden in the shadows was watching them very carefully a grin appears on his face as he disappears into the old city
Three and a half hours later they arrive at sector 18 the gates are wide open and smoke is floating around and the solar shield is flickering
There is a green pulses coming from Thorn’s gauntlet
Thorn stops the cycle and opens a compartment at the front of the cycle he pulls out a gauntlet like his then hands it to Tarlee.
Thorn: put this on it will indicate when an Omega apart from the wearer of the gauntlet and me is close by and also we can communicate by them and if you press the orange button it activates a personal solar shield. Are there any questions?
Tarlee: yeah what is with the green glow?
Thorn: green means a high level Omega, Yellow a low level Omega and the quicker it pulses the closer they are to you got it.
Tarlee: got it.
Tarlee puts on the gauntlet and they both activate the personal solar shields and get off the cycle Tarlee walks towards the gates Thorn grabs her by the arm.
Thorn: you stay close we have no idea what happened in there and have your sword ready at all times to dangerous to try and use your bow and if we do get separated and you get in trouble press the blue button it is a locator only I can trace through my gauntlet.
Tarlee: ok press the blue button if in trouble got it.
They walk into sector 18 swords drawn there are a few bodies laying just inside the gates blood is spattered on walls of the buildings and on the ground a rush of wind and Thorn grabs Tarlee and pulls her aside just as a steel beam flies past them and out the entrance a voice shouts from in the smoke.
Voice: Get out of here he will kill...
The voice is cut short and a loud scream replaces it then silence a loud burst of laughter breaks the silence followed by the sound of footsteps running away and a crazy sounding voice screams at them
Crazy voice: come on bounty hunters I know you’re here catch me if you can
Thorn looks at Tarlee she is a little shaken
Tarlee: wow he must have really lost his mind if he can do all this and enjoy it
Thorn: you okay I can handle this if you want to stay by the cycle.
Tarlee: I’m fine just don’t see how someone can enjoy this carnage
Thorn motions with his head for Tarlee to follow they continue slowly the smoke swirls around them as the walk further into sector 18 settlement Thorn stops at an intersection. Tarlee doesn’t notice because of the smoke and keeps walking paying more attention to the pulsing green glow coming from the gauntlet and walks into the settlement centre where the smoke has cleared Tarlee sees a man standing at the fountain the green glow no longer pulsing.
Tarlee reaches down and presses the blue button never taking her eyes off the man at the fountain as he turns around to face her.
Man: well look at you all grown up it is uncanny you look just like her you know
Tarlee: who do I look like?
Man: our mother
Thorn comes running and stops next to Tarlee
Thorn: leave her out of this Jacob if you are looking for a fight I will be happy to oblige you
Tarlee: (stuttering) our mother? Jacob?
Jacob: hmm I am not surprised they didn’t tell you about me guess I didn’t give them enough time as I thought in between wiping out half of Visor and then killing them when they came to hunt me down.
Tarlee collapse to her knees tears running down her cheeks breathing heavy like she was out of breath
Jacob: I guess uncle is good at keeping secrets as well.
