Kiba, Neji/Hinata and Shino are trackers.
Choji/Shino/Ten-Ten are large-scale fighters.
Shikamaru is leader/master-mind.
Sai is a spy.
Sakura is a medic.
Rock Lee is close range fighter thus why he's most powerfull out of them all(considering he can open 7-9 gates).

Well, I hope you got my point. They all have their place withing ninja structure.
