Even before, Kankuro got his but kicked, but Shino would have died from the poison if his father's destruction bugs hadn't neutralized the poison. Kankuro is older and a jounin, but it's still hard to say cuz we've only seen Shino do anything once. We'll have to wait and see what Shino can do...

kankuro is only jounin cuz sand village has what, 4 good shinobi? BAHAHAHA fail!
even in an open clearing, shino would pull it off. he's far more intelligent than kankuro. either of them wouldn't fall for the same tricks twice but really...someone tell me what/how kankuro could possibly win? aburame>puppet masters any day
