Well, its not like the flames completely devour everything in seconds, A was hit but his arm wasn't consumed immediately, its not surprising than the armour protected the samurai for a few seconds.
Wasn't it stated somewhere that his bones were stronger than tempered steel (i can't find the manga page and i'm to lazy to look up for it ~~)? I'm not sure if her weakest attacks would do the job alone, considering his bones are also way better than tempered steel.
Not to mention in CM2 they get even stronger, resisting Gaara's

A's arm wasn't devoured because of lightning armour. The same thing that managed to counter chidori and chidori barely managed to penetrate. Are you now going to say that Kimimaro survives amaterasu or chidori? Temari's weakest attacks aren't doing squat. I meant to say that she used her weakest attacks without killer intent to save a Samurai from the amaterasu flames. She was able to cut it apart. If she actually used anywhere close to her full power, that metal would easily been sliced and the samurai killed. In this manner, she can actually cut through substances harder than steel. Kimimaro tanked a sand coffin which uses pressure not cutting.

Slicing based is exactly why it cuts through Kimimaro's bones like butter. Temari's wind>>>>Kimimaro's bones>>>>steel. Anyway, Temari blows Kimimaro into Sakura's punch and Sakura's punch sends him flying into Temari allowing Temari to blow him back to Sakura. Rinse and repeat.

Kimimaro gets raped. He is getting overrated here. Joki already shat on everyone's arguments here and the funny thing is he managed to prove that early Shippuden Sakura without her current feats can solo Kimimaro without Temari's help. Let alone current Sakura and Temari.

Obviously he won't survive Ama, but honestly, Chidori might not pierce enough if he's in CM2.
I used the sand coffin just to compliment my argument on Kimi's durability. Cutting also involves pressure, except its much more precise.

To sum my initial idea:
Temari's futton >>> steel.
But, Kimi's bones (in base i think, w/o the CM influence) > tempered steel > normal steel.
Imo her attacks might even be > tempered steel, but not strong enough to mortally damage (or even heavily injure) a CM2 Kimi.

Kimimaro fought a weakened Lee (granted, Kimi himself was sick but didn't show signs of illness right away unlike Lee who just came out of a life threatening operation) and his bone strength was a bad match for Gaara's sand, which was used to trap and crush people. Temari would wreck him with kiri kiri mai which is regarded as one of her top jutsu, and we have seen her in the past cut down trees and samurai armor like nobody's business. And if Sakura lands a hit on him, he's dead, she'd shatter his bones.

Sakura was specifically trained in dodging by one of the Sannin and Temari is a jonin who was able to deflect sound and Lee's kicks back when she was younger, plus Sakura can heal, so dodging and recovering is not too much of a problem for these two kunoichi.
