He wouldn't be able to fly indoors, I just didn't want anyone to forget that, not that it would matter since Lee can jump from ceilings and off walls with ease.

Base Gai blew away Gaara's sand like it's nothing and yes, it happened the same in the manga.

Current Gaara's sand is so powerful, just the sand covering gaara's body can protect him from susanoo sword attacks from SM Madara:

Gaara's mom protects Gaara at all cost. he beast Lee
Gaara wins, his sand is much stronger than part 1 Gaara's sand as shown when Gaara blocked 5 of Madara's wood clone Susanoo swords; Lee isn't getting through Gaara's Sand since his power isn't near complete Susanoo power. Gaara can use his sand eye to see Lee and attack him and using the gates does damage to Lee's body so Lee would be doing more damage to himself while he evade Gaara's attacks and when Lee starts to feel his fatigue lower is when Gaara can get him.
Gaara wins low diff for the fact that his Sand has shown to tank attacks, this is a weaker Gaara who fought edo 2nd Mizukage with some healing from Tsunade. Being healed doesn't make you 100%, this is why Tsunade would make people rest their bodys for days to weeks such as Kakashi after getting Tsukuyomi, Kakashi after overusing Kamui, Sasuke after having wrist broken and getting Tsukuyomi, Naruto after his VoTE fight, Naruto's arm after using FRS on Kakuza are all examples of the person needing to rest their body to fully recover.
If this was without limitation and somewhere outside, Gaara would just overwhelm Lee with his sand waterfall that he used on Kimimaru; it was so much that Lee wouldn't be able to escape it

.He can fly indoors, the ceiling it high up so Gaara can fly around the field even if it's inside and you're handicapping Gaara in 2 ways: first taking away his flight and second making it inside when you know he can create sand from the ground when outside which would overtake Lee, making Restrictions only makes Lee look weak compare to Gaara's full strength and that's without him being a Jinchuuriki.
Lee at 6 gates doesn't have power of Madara's complete Susanoo which Gaara blocked 5 swords while saving Mei

Gaara can just surround himself in his sand which Lee can't even get close too since he already said he can't attack at high speed due to not having the "eyes" to see counter attacks so Lee isn't going to try blizting Gaara while he's in the shield while Gaara can still attack him from in his shield

It's strong enough to stop A's lightning armor lvl 2 leg drop to save Sasuke; A is stronger than 6 gate Lee without a doubt.You do know that was a low chunin level Gaara right? He wasn't even using the Bijuu's power at all plus Lee stated Gaara was much stronger when he fought Kimimaru then Gaara became Kage level while Gai stayed at Jounin so that's not a good comparison. Gai with no gates wouldn't have a chance with Gaara who tanked 5 complete Susanoo's swords while saving Mei when he's weakened

. Gai at 7th gate still would lose when Gaara can easily fly high above Gai's range while overwhelming him with sand. Gaara literately made a huge amount of sand in like a minute while he was attacking Kimimaru and made a huge sand shield to protect Suna from Deidara's C3 bomb which is stronger than Kirin near instantly

. Dropping that on Gai would kill him or even block afternoon tiger before dropping it on Gai would would be left weaken after using afternoon tiger.

I'd love lee to win but gaara defeated 5th gate lee 6th gate wont make big difference against kazekage gaara.

Has Gaara shown the ability to utilize more sand in Shippuden? Because I'm pretty sure he's still limited to the amount of sand in his gourd, and that gourd is still the same as PTS. He's not outdoors so he can't crush the minerals in the ground to make more sand, so he doesn't have the ability to alter the terrain in this fight. He's nowhere near sand so he can't use anymore sand than what's in his gourd either.
Lee should be able to win in this location. He's been shown to keep up Gates for longer and he's not been shown to suffer from the after-effects. He still gets by his sand with speed and the power gained from the Sixth Gate should be enough to demolish Gaara (assuming he can't utilize more sand).

Yeah and guess what, that was 8th gate Gai, not 7 gate Lee which your other post talked about. Gai base stats are much higher than Lee's so don't compare Gai's feats with Lee's. Gaara tanked attacks stronger than 7 gate Gai and you think a 6th gate Lee is going to be better? I laugh at that. Did I say 8th gate Lee or Gai? No, Gaara wasn't "crapping his pants" he only asked what happened and responded to Gai going to die after using it by remembering how much Gai meant to Lee

No it's not, Gaara's sand from his gourd is much much stronger than pre-time skip as shown by Gaara being able to block much stronger jutsus with that sand after the time skip. The sand in Gaara's gourd is infused with Gaara's chakra, more chakra will make it stronger

. Part 1 Gaara sand was deflected by Gai, a jounin while Diedara, a Kage level, have a lot of trouble bringing thru Gaara's shield when he's using bombs. Lee's strength at 6th gate is not as strong or stronger than A's lightning armor 2 who had his leg drop blocked by Gaara's sand. So do you think base Gai from part 1 is stronger than lightning armor 2 A because that's what you're saying by saying the sand is the same. Gaara's sand blocked 5 Susanoo's swords, so Lee somehow have the power higher than a complete Susanoo and can do what a complete Susanoo couldn't? It took 5 to send Gaara flying after he blocked it and he was weakened from fighting Mizukage and Madara with no rest and being healed once.

and you think Lee who can only go to 6th Gate can not suffer? That makes no sense when Lee only went 6th gates but never actually fought in it to exhaust himself. Just like Gai feel some exhaustion in his gates, Lee will as well plus Gaara's sand have feats of tanking stronger attacks than what Lee ever shown to dish out.

Gaara's sand is much stronger now than it was in part one as shown by tanking bombs from a Kage level Deidara, blocking Sasuke's Enton, Blocking A's lightning armor lvl 2 drop kick, blocking 5 complete Susanoo sword all with the sand from his gourd. Lee at 6th gates is not going to have power like what Gaara already shown to block and Lee can't attack Gaara's sand shield since he even said that he can't attack straight up like Sasuke since Sasuke can see Gaara's counter attack and dodge while he doesn't have the eye to do so how is Lee going to be attacking Gaara's sand if he can't get close?

. Lee will get weakened after using his secret taijutsus moves as both him and Gai shown to do and is how Gaara beat him the last time. Gaara can use sand clone as well which is what he did before.
