He killed his Clan @ 13, Then he Fled the Leaf to Join the akatsuki.
Oro first set eyes on Itachi After He officially Joined, that was after the killed his clan, and was shocked to see Itachi.

first off itachi was 13 in that video lol. And itachi would dominate sasuke lol. Even now with EMS itachi would still dominate sasuke in battle. not sure if 13 year old itachi would dominate EMS sasuke but i am 100% sure Current itachi would stomp on EMS sasuke. My brothers favorite character is sasuke and one of my best friends favorite character is sasuke. And when i asked them who would win itachi or EMS sasuke they said it isnt fair because itachi is a god compared to sasuke. Lol. Sasuke fanboys even admit that itachi is nowhere near sasuke. lol hell danzo worked with 13 year old itachi and when he saw sasuke he said "Compared to Itachi's Tsukuyomi where he could alter your perception of time at his whim... You're as far below him as the land is below the sky" - Danzo to Sasuke. oh and to anyone who says he was comparing his tsukuyomi read it again. He said you are as far below HIM. meaning u are as far below itachi as the land is below the sky. Enough said.

Ive thought about this before this thread and even though i still believe a 13 year old itachi can win considering the feats he has at this age, i feel ems sasuke is too much for even a 13 year old itachi.
You are all speculating in the first place, no where was it said Itachi was 13 facing Orochimaru....,Infact the manga says he was 11... which means when he found tobi, he made him put him in akatsuki..
7years ago....Itachi was 18
10 Years ago, Itachi was 21
He was 11........
But if you disregard Sasori and Kisame's statement....Itachi could be anywhere from the age of 13-15......, It's unknown how long after pain appointed Itachi a new partner....,All we know he was Itachi's partner at 17 when they visited......So 13-16 all acceptable

Just cuz they said it had been 7 years since they all me doesn't mean that itachi was a part of the akatsuki by that time. I didn't say 13 year itachi vs ems. Plus what is so special about ems. Hashirama beat it. All it does is prevent u from goin blind along with an unknown just. So y can a regular sharingan beat it. Itachi was. Already a sharingman master plus he's better than sasuke wit the sharingan.
Want proof itachi had his ems for like 8 years with his vision intact even though it was super blurry. While sasuke had it for a couple of months and nearly 10 months so yes 13. Year itachi can beat ems sasuke cuz he just plain better at using his sharingan

EASY. itachi is smarter and is better at using his MS techniques and last but not least sasuke is using ITACHIS MOVES. Danzo saw them both in action (13 year old itachi and MS sasuke) and we all saw what his reaction was and what he had to say about the difference between them. 21 year old itachi outclasses sasuke in every field conceivable. I dont even consider it a match tbh. and the way itachi is now. Edo tensei and all sasuke is nothing compared to him.
Um how? I'd like a reason besides he just is. Please tell me how a 13 year old who just barely unlocked the MS is gonna beat a character who rivals the main character and has a fully matured MS with all abilities including final susanoo with amatersu arrows, and mastered fire and lightning style?
yeah he does, but Tsukiyomi wouldn't do much good on sasuke, he already broke through it with a regular sharingan and MS would be able to defeat it, not only that, close relatives have more defense from the other's Tsukiyomi.
It was actually tobi Ordering Pain, And Itachi dealt wit Tobi directly, which was his connections to joining akatsuki
And yes akatuski lets kids enter akatsuki, Remember deidara? He was 19 in part 2......When he joined he was younger..Sasori said he was the type of kid to die young, Unknown how old, i'd say 14-17
Itachi Became a chunin at 10 and Anbu Captain at 13, So somewhere between 10-13 he Joined the Anbu and became a jounin.
I can't see Any reason For itachi to Join the akatsuki at the age of 11, Let alone why a group of S-ranked Ninja's wanting an 11Year old Kid who might have only just Made Jounin level.
Also Tobi says AFTER Having Left the village he joined the akatsuki
