i agree and disagree. Naruto without kurama currently is not sannin level.

However, i do think that naruto without kurama could become sannin level(with more training and a wider arsenal of techniques)

Also just because naruto doesnt have kurama(hypothetically) doesnt mean his dad is still alive.


Before naruto trained to use kcm, kurama was mostly a handicap(as naruto didnt use the power from him that he couldve), because maintaining the seal gives naruto poorish chakra control, lowers his total chakra pool, and prevented him from useing ma and pa(for inf sage mode)

Here are my reasons for the same......
1. He has high chakra reserves and great Stamina.
I have seen many believe that his stamina and major base chakra is due to 9-tails but they are wrong. On the contrary Kyuubi in the past always messed with his chakra.(Confirmed by Jiraya and Ebisu)
In the past a part of his chakra was used to suppress Kyuubi, so he had a lot of problems at jutsu's. But now, he could use less chakra for performing same jutsu's which used to takes twice or thrice more chakra.(confirmed by Ebisu)


2. His chakra control is top-class as stated by Kurama.
Many believe, he is only best at linking chakra. For them i have to say, do you know what you are even talking about. If he is good at linking chakra, then he is naturally good with handling chakra.

3. He has mastered Sage Mode, better than Jiraya and faster than him too.Without 9-tails, he would be able to fuse with Ma and Pa too.
Also unlike Jiraya or Kabuto, Naruto has been shown to enter Sage Mode in moments while just standing and talking.

4. He still would be a master of shadow clone Jutsu and Rasengan variants.
Many believe that it was du to Kurama he learned Rasenshuriken faster. They don't even need to be addressed.

Had Kurama been not sealed in him the circumstances under which Kurama was sealed in him would have happened. Minato would be alive. Jiraya would still be his godfather. He would be pop would be more focused and most probably would learn FTG.

And how often does that honestly happen in a fight? He might be dumb, but he doesn't make many mistakes in battle. I can recall rasenshuriken fail against the guy with 5 hearts (can't remember his name) but that wasnt even a mistake the jutsu just failed seeing as how it was his first time trying it out. Other than that, he doesn't excel at making mistakes.

Yeah I more or less agree, he is around mid kage level like everyone else is saying. Really the thing that seperates him from the Sannin is his experience and variety of jutsu, but that will change in time, he is young and has plenty of life left.

You know what else is weird? Kishi doesn't even let Naruto learn/utilize more higher-level techs from the Forbidden Scroll he took in the beginning. (Barring Tajuu KB) He could've advance even more by learning at least a couple more techs from that scroll.

I guarantee that if Naruto becomes Hokage, he would be given access to those Sealed/Forbidden Techs from the Scrolls. It would be very likely that he will utilize Space-Time and Wind Ninjutsus.
