[Photoshop] CS5.1 problem

Everytime I start Photoshop CS5.1 I have to enter a serial number, if I give a correct one I am able to start PS, but after a couple of minutes it says that the serial number is not valid. I read something about hostfiles and connectin with the internet...

Can someone help me??

Are you sure you have a "legal" serial number?

As soon as you have adobe running with internet connection, the fake license will be invalid automatically. If you update the Adobe Photoshop, then the same thing will happen.

It'll maybe help you out. If you have to keep using a fake license, then you have to disable your internet connection, or else it'll just get invalid and ask for a legal license.

Yeah! I need help too! I downloaded at the ilegal way and it has the same problem as yours.

I didn't found the help on You Tube.

1.Go to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
2.Locate the hosts file and open it with a notepad.
3.Then, in the notepad, you'll find a couple of server IP's/hosts.
4.Below them, add 127.0.0.1 activate.adobe.com

For me, the adobe host is not the last in the list because several applications have been automatically added to the hosts list, after I manually added adobe. Although I really think order is not at all important.

Then close the notepad and save. It shouldn't ask for a serial once you do all this. Or if it does, it will never ask again after you enter it, not sure how it goes, I installed CS5 this summer.​

You people really need to crack your stuff correctly.
