I think Smoker would win due to Haki. We don't know what Crocodile is currently capable of, so we don't truly know how this would turn out.

I'd say Smoker since he can counter Logia with Haki and his jutte, he is also a Logia too and smoke so Crocs drying move shouldn't work, but he hasn't been shown since the time skip and survived a clash vs Donflammingo.

This is a tough one, it's true Crocodile doesn't look like much compared to Smoker when looking back at Alabasta but he displayed better fighting prowess during the Impel Down/Marineford arcs, that said I would say pre-TS Crocodile may be able to beat Smoker and although Smoker improved over the timeskip I'm sure Croc did too.

It's not possible to make a proper call on who would win right now o-o

being an ex-sichibukai im pretty sure crocodile also has haki...and the variety of techniques he can use is much bigger...hes is more variable. besides hes more of a badass then smoker lol

You're not looking at the comparison properly.. we've only seen Crocodile pre-TS while you're looking at the current Smoker, who knows Crocodile hasn't improved alot?
