A Portland, Oregon, woman arrived home on Saturday, April 6th, to find an intruder in the shower!
The Portland homeowner called out “Why are you in my house taking a shower?”
The uninvited shower guest replied, “I’m sorry…my name’s Timothy James Chapek.”
Timothy Chapek, 25, then dialed 911 and told the emergency operator, “I just broke in to a house and the owners came home…I think they might have guns.”
The homeowner also called 911 to report the intruder.
I don’t know about you, but it’s a good day when lawbreakers are fearful, rather than the law-abiding! And guns, or even the threat of the good guys possibly having guns, can make that scenario the norm.

Whelp, this is a new one. Intruder calls cops on self fearing house owner has a gun. Methinks this intruder has good instincts.

Why do people break into houses to shower then rob it? But this shows that protecting your home is safer than not having any firepower to protect yourself.
I think the outcome may have changed if firearms were banned, maybe he would have forced homeowner to join and rape them.

But he is the Idiot of the day!

I still probably would have shot him.
Just saying. If I come home to a naked dude in my house its open season. God help him if my girl finds that seat left up.

You know... You hear about this stuff relatively often... where people break into homes, make themselves dinner, take showers....

I mean... really... what the hell?

In these cases, it's not better to ask forgiveness than permission.
