Naruto is fodder... he needs shadow clones just to learn Fuuton... He is so linear he only uses Shadow Clones and Rasengan(Of some sort) in EVERY BATTLE! and seems to lack independence/solo because he lived his Shinobi life on complete relianceof Kurama to save his ass in EVERY fight such as Naruto vs Orochimaru and Naruto vs Pain Tendo... He simply can't fight 1v1 effectively and when he did(Against Sasuke) he failed.
