Wtf did they do to Gaara's gourd? In Shippuden he had a fat 8 shaped gourd, but now he has one that has a shape of a water bottle.

I think this one has an interesting take. I can't see the full design, but at least it doesn't look completely dumb. Small gourds for what? Dumb SP :lol

Temari looks fine. Her face is a bit non Temari, but I'm starting to see why now. The author is trying to make their hair more realistic rather than having anime spikes.

I didn't even recognize that it was Temari, but I don't think she looks bad enough for me to care. Now if he can fix Hinata...

I totally understand what you're saying now. Saradas personality was absent from this one shot. Sarada is cheerful and cunning type. But lately ive noticed her one shots are getting worst and worst. It must be the skirt.

It's not the skirt, it's the entire art style, the new author took away her badass vibe and replaced it with an exagerrated good girl look

Honestly I don't think the mini skirt makes her look un-bad ass (not that I think anyone in the generation itself was a bad-ass anyway). It just isn't suited for ninja attire.

It's like a party getup. If she had some leggings or something under the skirt, it would be a cool design. I think it was more unique than what she wore before, which was literally Sakura's hand-me-downs.

I totally forgot about the Last Gaara and Adlt Gaara having such a small gourd. It makes no sense how he can release so much sand to protect the villagers. I know he can turn rocks and minerals into sand and use his surroundings to his advantage but the dude having such a small gourd doesn't make any sense as to what Kishi had established before.

What was Kishi thinking with Gaara's design. Also you can't blame everything on SP man, Kishi was the one who drew the sketches in that movie so he can them the idea of his design. SP followed his wishes and animated it ,that's all. Tbh I think Ikemoto is further humiliating his character with the art. Now he has an oddly shaped gourd. It should have just been standardized as to what Gaara had in Shippuden.

The author is loosening the badass aura that comes with the character. No offense but Temari looks like a clown who's sole purpose is to make babies and take care of the household. This image of her shows nothing of how Kishi portrayed her as an independent badass females who doesn't need a man to take care of her. Art does impact how people view things about the character and hence the hatred to this series.

I also don't know why he would change her hair design. Temari having 4 ponytails was good as it was.

Ikemoto is doing sort of well with Naruto, Gaara, Kankuro, and Boruto but nobody else. Sakura, Sasuke and Hinata look absolutely terrible. Hope he fixes them.

Right? It was a dumb decision. Like if Gaara physically doesn't need to carry sand anymore because he can make it on his own through other minerals and such, then why make him carry small gourds around so that he looks dumb? lol.

I don't think Kishimoto drew Gaara out like he sketched the next generation (and a few adults). Kishimoto didn't even release a Himawari sketch either. They probably drew it from Chapter 700, unless it was behind the scenes.

Naruto and Sasuke didn't have designs either. I think it was only Hinata and Konohamaru whom were designed by Kishimoto for this Movie, I might be missing another Adult tbh.

Honestly, I already don't like Ikemoto's style, now he's making me hate it even more. Why does he have to sexualise every female character? Dude needs to stop putting woman wearing tiny pieces of clothing next to fully clothed man.
