I totally understand what you're saying now. Saradas personality was absent from this one shot. Sarada is cheerful and cunning type. But lately ive noticed her one shots are getting worst and worst. It must be the skirt.

And if without that lipstick, she looks like a boy. No difference.

Lmao what they need to do is give her long hair and give her chidori. she'll be popular in no time.

At least her faces above gave me some kind of feel of her but not in that cover. I felt like that was not Sarada. Its felt empty.

At least I still can felt Boruto present.
Are you referring to the character designs? Because honestly I don't really feel anything when looking at the cover in terms of characters, nor did I feel anything in the pictures you showed.

However what I think you were saying (in my opinion) was that the lack of Sarada's personality in the choices the author has made in what she does. Not as in physically (as in her actions), because so far the Manga has followed the Movie itself, literally panel by panel if we aren't counting the flash forward.

The only stark difference is her appearance which clashes with her inner personality. I don't really view Sarada, or any girl for that matter in the Manga, to be much of the girly type. Especially her all things considered. When you see her coming out with a mini skirt and high heels, you sort of feel different about the character. Not by much, but there's definitely a clash somewhere.

With Boruto and Naruto, at least we can recognize them.

It just plain look of her. No character at all, even no personality of a girl. I see it more like a boy.

If this author want to draw emotionless Sarada on that cover, she can refer to this:

Just like Himawari with that kind of face she had now. But she still looks like a girl

Most of his females look weird. Given that these are old Japanese men, it's highly likely that they have no insight on the opposite ***, bar what they know about their wives. I mean look at Kishimoto's take on romance in this Manga, and this dude was a married man with children.

:lol

Does he ever take drawing class/lesson in his life?

Even my armature friend can draw better female character(in face emotion, characteristic etc) be it manga style or comic style. I've seen it. I bet he have improved alot now.

And we're not asking him to write a romance plot but just a drawing. It clearly different for a comparison.

Personally I think Ikemoto is a good artist. It's just that his specialty isn't character's, it's backgrounds. That's what is actually stated in his bio in the Data-Book (meet Kishimoto's advisers!) thing.

However the Manga art itself isn't that great because it seems like he's trying to work out Naruto's style with his own, or trying to recreate it. Something on those lines. Remember the art when they annouced the Manga with derp-Boruto and the rest? It's definitely gotten better.

But honestly I'm not really worried about the art style when the content itself is just nothing new. I can't really stress over something that we've already seen. I honestly doubt his art is going to be this weird forever. I really can't see Ikemoto putting his heart and soul into Boruto when he's literally just reusing someone else's work.

Though the flash forward which was his own content (along with Ukyo) was the only good art we've seen thus far. That and the color pages with the next generation in the first page.

Not bad tbh. It looks like he is improving which is what is expected from a new author suddenly put up in a big position who has to full fill the role of entertaining his fans.

Boruto looks the best.

That looks familiar...was this scan in volume 12 of the manga?

That aside, I think it looks great! it's the same guy?

And here I thought that Naruto was already so garbage looking that he couldn't get horrible any further. I am enraged. :elmo:

You ain't seen nothing yet Sam! This isn't even his final form!

I think it was in the Data-Book. Not entirely sure tbh.

Yeah Ikemoto drew that.

XD

I don't think there is an actual picture of the guy. I can show you a drawing someone did of Kishimoto's team, but in anime-chibi form. That's the best I can do.
