Ok cops shouldn't be able to carry guns anymore when they are on traffic duty because this is really getting ****ing old. They should only be allowed to carry guns when they're called about a robbery

A witness said that Alton Sterling had a firearm, but was not reaching for his gun.

In this recent case, the wife of the victim said they were pulled for a broken tail-light. Police asked the victim for his license. The victims had told the officer he had a gun and he was registered. The cop on scene told the victim not to reach for the gun and he shot the victim as a reaction.

What went wrong? The proper procedure was not followed.

IMO, the victim is supposed to show his hands on the dashboard, backup is supposed to arrive, the victims is removed from the vehicle and surrender his firearm, while they cops on scene check his license.



The crazy part is she was so calm about it. I mean she has a son in the back seat.

However, I think she would have been shot too. The cop told her to put her hands on the stiring wheel.

She should have been shot for not putting her hands on the dash board? People like you and these cops have stupid ways of thinking

That's just idiotic.
Everyone is suspected with having a hidden weapon.
That's why when a cop detains someone they ask if they have any weapons or drugs.
