the thing with vasto lordes confuses me too.i thought all of the espadas were vasto.ok first off why does ev1 keep saying ulquiorra may or may not be a vasto lord????????
i was under the impression that all arancarr were vasto lords??????as that was the only thing aizen was looking for?!?!?

on that note didn't grimmjow eat shawlong and co. to become stronger????? or am i

ok i think it will be one of 2 things goings to happen.......i hope its the 1st
1st- during ichigo vs ulquiorra fight ichigo will once again be on 'verge of death' and will all of a sudden be overtaken by a partial transformation..*much like during his fight with byakuya* that pushes him further into a full hollow transformation, that causes his power to spike at a very high lvl for a brief amount of time wounding ulquiorra greatly giving upperhand bach to ichigo..........or
2nd- ichigo will have another meeting with hollow ichigo while in a 'dream like state' on 'the verge of death'.fight him,defeat him and unleash a hollow resureccion along with bankai
this will prob be the full extent the his powers could reach.......i'm guessing neways
i mean why would he be able to use the full extent of a shiningami's powers(bankai) but not a hollow's(resureccion)
i think this will be the difference between his and aizen's power
ichigo is human which allows him to kinda be 1/2 shiningami and 1/2 hollow
while aizen is a shiningami and he can he will be 2/3 shiningami and 1/3 hollow
(which given the amount of reitsu he has and his sheer knowledge of a shiningami's powers,makes him incredibly powerful)
and same goes for any of the espada they're 2/3 hollow and 1/3 shiningami
this means
ichi can use bankai.....then pull down mask(sorta like a shikai)......then use resureccion and be super bad a$$
aizen can only use bankai and pull down mask (tho he's still super strong)
espada.......well we know what they do
does this make sense to anyone???????

As far as i remember being injured by another arancar was enough not to become vasto lorde.may be grimmjow just ate some parts of them.i know it's weird but remember when they first met grimmjow he beat one of them and ate his eye or part of his head.so he stayed alive.and it could be count as grimmjow ate him
and after that Aizen with the help of Hogiyoku(spelling) made them as they were in latest series.

Well along with Ichigo in Hueco Mundo we have 4 captains, however many other shinigami with lt. level power, Sado, Ishida, and Nel that could probably help out again if needed. They are all juat kinda chillen until Kiske opens up the gate back to Earth. I can't imagine that all of them can't come to the rescue if Ichigo wears him down.

Ichigo hasn't been human since the first episode/chapter when he took Rukia's Zanpaktou and stabbed himself threw the heart with it and became a shinigami and then when Byakuya and Renji appeared they stripped him of his shinigami powers and he had to go to Kisuke Urahara and revive his lost powers but didn't achieve it quick enough and thus made him start becoming a hollow as when Tessai went to kill Ichigo. Urahara stopped him and pointed out the fact that the he isn't turning into a Hollow in the same way a normal human does because they start around the hole but for Ichigo he started with the mask right away which by the "Turn Back The Pendulum Arc/Chapters" the other shinigami as well started with the hollow masks which pointed out that Ichigo is and always has been a Shinigami and his dad pointing out the fact he is a "Pure Blood" only means he is a Pure Blood Shinigami.
So its kind of speculated that since he is also a Vizard that there is more to his power than presumed to be shown because just recently Ichigo has been able to move the mouth of the mask on his own were in the past it was Shirosaki moving it for him. So he could be an Espada/Shinigami which would honestly be completely insane and very bad luck for Ulquiorra.
well i realize it may not be very practical for ichigo to beat ulquiorra,but.......he has to,to reach aizen......and there is no other way but to ascend to a higher level.....as everyone knows his current level is just not enough

Wrong Ichigo is dead he killed himself in the first manga/anime ep. When he took Rukia's zanpaktou and pierced it threw his heart. He uses a Gigai to make everyone think he is still alive as well as him keep his friends

What in the world are you talking about? It's mentioned numerous times that Ichigo is a human, which is why his powers seem so strange to just about every character that mentions it. When Ichigo is not in his Shinigami spirit form, he is a regular living human being.
Anyway, from what I've gathered, Ichigo was born with Shinigami powers. Now, what makes it even more interesting is if you remember back to when Inoue first used her powers, one of the fairies said that only Inoue and Ichigo could see them because they were born thanks to Ichigo. That implies that Ichigo had something to do with Inoue's powers, and so it follows that he may also be responsible for Chad's powers which are very similar to Hollow powers.
So that begs the question, does that mean Ichigo has always had that Hollow form inside of him? If I've made any mistakes, please correct them.

first off, being a vasto lorde is not a requirement to becomeing an arancar
example 1, Grand fisser, he was one of the first arrancar and he was below the gillian class (the lowest class)
Second, ulqiora is a vasto lorde from what i know of, his mask is small and he has a humanoid form, which are the usual charicteristics of arrancar that were vasto lorde
Third, YES grimjow did eat all of them, but not completely, once a hollows mask has been eaten even partially their evolution stops and they cant raise to the next level, which for them they were ajucas (sp?) and wished to be vasto lorde, they had grimjow eat a part of their mask to solidify their state while giving him the power to raise to the next level with their power being part of them so in a way they could make it there with him with him as their proclaimed king. they did live and aizen did make them arrancar as grimjows subordinates that all espada are allowed to have directly below them.
and finally forth, as for the ichigos hollow form, givin i have no clue how it will happen sence i havnt seen any of it. i think his final form will involve not really him letting his inner hollow come out but to actually take the power from him by force just like he allways does when his inner hollow gets uppidy with him. knowing how shonen works with their animes i think there will be a form past this, most likely when aizen somehow has his new plan and somehow makes it into the spirit worlds emperors world using some new key blah blah blah, and to save the guy ichigo will somehow combine his life half (zangetsu) and his death half (inner hollow zangetsu) as alluded by his inner hollow with his analogy of when life prevails skin covers the bones but when death prevails the bones show.
creating the ultimate vizard and just kicking some face in.

ichigo already has transformed in the fight against ulquiorra. After the second transformation he seems to not be able to control his mask anymore as i think hes gained a new power after the fight where he cant control it aswell. the stripes on his mask are increasing suggesting he is getting stronger.
